Aww, poor B, I hope he feels better soon Oma. OH and I were saying the other day, sometimes just being on various medications can give you off periods.
I hope you get to the beach soon xx

Good Sunday morning everyone. Nanto - thank you for the lovely butterfly to start our day.

Oma - I do hope B is feeling better later on. Give him a hug for me.

Gem - I'm sure the city will look very different without hordes of visitors.

It's dull and slightly drizzly here at the moment, but the forecast for later is ok, so we're going up to see DS1 and family but we'll take a big umbrella, just in case! It will be lovely to see the whole family - DS1 and GD2 called in on my birthday but we haven't see DIL and GS1 since early March. If the weather is really horrible we'll come back, but at least will will have seen them.

Whatever you're doing today, take care and stay safe. xx

So sorry Oma to hear B is feeling unwell, do hope he feels better today. That must have been lovely seeing some of the family and of course Storm. Hope you get your seaside trip in soon.

Daisy, not sure what the forecast is for us today, I hope the rain stays away for your visit to the family.

We had a very mild and muggy day yesterday which finished up with a storm about six. I have a sore tummy, feel as if I have been kicked by a mule, so not planning much today.

I tried to get on here about 12ish, but i kept getting fatal error message.
Don't think it was the computer because i could get on everywhere else.

Good afternoon. Very sunny and warm here. Sorry B is feeling unwell Oma, hope he feels better soon.

Ive had a very nice day today. Had 3 enormous bouquets delivered yesterday, absolutely gorgeous. From DH, GS and my friend round the corner. Such a lovely surprise. Also a delivery from M &S from DS in OZ, a bottle of wine, chocolates and flowers. Then yesterday afternoon another friend popped round, we haven’t seen each other since lockdown so that was a nice surprise. We social distanced on the drive and she gave me a beautifully wrapped box. This morning I found a lovely ball of sock yarn, she knows me very well 😀. This morning DS FaceTimed and we had a lovely long chat, then DD came over with a bottle of wine and a huge selection of different chocolate, she knows what I like 😀. DGD also FaceTimed then after lunch DGS came over and we sat in the garden and chatted. So a lovely day and I feel very spoilt.

DH not too good, very sleepy but he managed to eat lunch just so very tired. I will be pleased to see the Macmillan nurse tomorrow. Thank you all for your best wishes.

Plant, I hope your tummy ache soon goes. I think you found peppermint oil helpful last time?
Oma, thinking of B,and you, and hoping he is soon on the mend.
Not sure what the Fatal Error message was about Nan2, but I'm glad you got back on.

Summer is back (for now) where I am, so the weekend has been lovely.

B feeling better tonight he managed some tea and a cake so see how he is tomorrow.

DD went to a farm shop and brought us some lovely cakes but they were very large so most was thrown away too big to eat them all

Plant hope your tummy is feeling better xx

Good morning. Started off misty again, but its cleared now.

Had breakfast, but not bothered with a shower as we are hoping to get the garden done.

                        Dishwasher been on and unloaded.
Got a load of light coloureds in the washer now.
Washed a couple of potatoes, jacket spuds for dinner.

Oma, pleased B feeling a bit better. What a shame about the cakes having to be thrown away.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

                          How is everyone?

A dull day here with rain and possibly thunderstorms forecast. The nice weather will be back though
This morning I have a reflexology treatment. OH may go back to my mum's to get some more garden stuff in the green bin so it is full for Friday's collection.
This evening we have our weekly WhatsApp get together and quiz with friends.
My turn to cook tonight and I was thinking of making salmon fishcakes, I think I need breadcrumbs though.

I hope this week is a better one for anyone who has not has things too good recently.

Good morning, everyone. I'll catch up properly later, but I can't believe how incredibly tired I am after going to visit DS1 and family yesterday. We had a lovely day, though, and I'll write about it later.

Enfys - I hope your meeting with the Macmillan nurse is useful - I'm sure she will be able to help P feel more comfortable. I'm so glad you had a lovely birthday and felt properly spoilt by your family and friends. xx

We've got the sunshine back, so I'll get some gardening done today - once I get going!

Plant - have a nice relaxing day and take it easy.

Oma - what a shame about the cakes.

Nanto - I didn't notice you taking my photo as I sit with my first cup of tea this morning.

I hope the poorly ones are feeling better today. Love the graphic Nanto.

Lovely here atm, not sure what the forecast is. I have stripped the bed and have opened the bedroom window and thrown the duvet over the window sill, will make the bed after lunch. Not feeling very perky today my sore tummy has turned into a diverticulitis ache and it seemed to upset my heart fibrillation but I did get a good sleep. Exercise is good for diverticulitis so I will go out for a stroll later.
