Just had to do hardest thing ever ,
Write a card to my Brother so my Niece's and Nephews can put it on his coffin as we can't be there .
I was doing well but writing that has burst a well inside me and I have started to cry again .

I know I will settle again but it's these little things that are jumping up and causing pain again
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oh poor Oma, I do feel for you. You may need that cry though xxx
      Take care love.

Mimi, roast lamb is my favourite. I was going to order us a Sunday lunch from the pub, but didn't get round to phoning to book and pay. Fish pie and veg for us tonight I think.

I just did a small wash of white things Nan2. Out on the line now and almost dry.

Things certainly seem to be opening up over there Lizzie.

That is understandable Oma. Take care.xx

I have just been to DS1 for coffee in the garden, GD1 came home whilst I was there so I did see her for a few minutes, GD2 is at her friends for a few days, the one with the pool in the garden!

Shops are opening Gem and busy on the roads compared to a few weeks ago.

That is a hard thing to do Oma, no wonder you shed a few tears.

Just had a face-time with DD. Sil and their children plus their GC, it was lovely to talk to them all. GGS was very vocal and wanted to show us his toys, GGD was shoving food in her mouth. GS2, who is a physio, said he is tempted to walk up and down their road when everyone is clapping and take a few bows.
I am making butternut squash soup, I do find it difficult to cut up and peel squash but this is a lovely recipe, it is made with spiced roasted squash and red lentils.

Oma, sometimes its better to have a cry, it can be good to let it all out.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

it's absolute tipping it down here!

Our vague plans for a walk were abandoned.
The washing was almost dry so I dashed out and got it in and put it on the airer.
                A day to stay inside.

OH is is going to do some more of her jigsaw. I have another Greys Anatomy to watch.

Mimi - roast lamb with Rosemary sounds delicious. I'm sure you're glad you don't have to sweep leaves up every day now. I love having trees around, but all our neighbours had trees planted right up against our boundary fence and they've grown huge! The neighbours behind us cut down their conifers a couple of years ago, and that lets so much more light into our rooms at the back of the house, especially the kitchen. So only three more gardens to be sorted out!

Lizzie, is it getting busier because some of the restrictions have been lifted? I'm glad your machine is ok. Sometimes our old favourites are irreplaceable, aren't they!

I've just finished portioning up dog food - enough to keep us going for a week or more, Eva's very good - she cleans up the plastic containers the food comes in, so I only have to give them a quick wash before putting them in the recycling bin.

                    Afternoon.

Oma I really understand your tears. It’s so understandable but leaves you feeling like a washed out rag.I know.Illogically I keep feeling G is coming back one day.

It’s a bit drizzly here today so too damp to do the gardening as I’d hoped .

I found some bread flour at the back of the cupboard .I was sure the yeast would be out of date but it was fine so I got the bread maker out for the first time in months and made a passable small loaf.

I’ve also fed the birds and given the kitchen and bathroom a lick and a promise.

                    I keep thinking it’s Monday!

Clover it just a strange time isn't it . I'm more calm now it's not what I wanted to ever do but as I can't be there my family thought it would make me feel part of it

Gem it's that horrible drizzle here and grey sky's .
I love fish pie but only home made as a lot of shop ones either have prawns in or fish sauce .

Daisy we have lots of trees and although lovely I hate that they are so close to our back fence . If it's not thousands of leaves falling in the autumn it's those spike husks and little twigs when the leaves come in or its blossom leaves . Then if it's very windy we get small branches coming off . We also get a lot of tree spiders covering the fence in very sticky webs o I'm not so fond of them . Is the tree outside yours the one we parked under ?

Plant lovely to get to see them I can imagine the children getting in on the act they are so sweet and GGD as I said to you is so much like you

Lizzie does it feel strange seeing people going about as normal ?

                        Wasn't easy Mimi xx

I've had a good few books on my Kindle lately , I'm reading a really nice one at the moment called The Corner shop in Cockleberry Bay authors name escapes me at the moment , it's one of those feel good easy to keep reading books

                        Any recommendations ladies xx

I'm three quarters of the way through Where The Crawdads Sing Oma, taking a break in the Harry Potters. It is really good.
The rain has stopped, it was deafening on the conservatory roof!

Oma, it does seem strange and I wonder if it is all too soon! Ikea opened last week, the queue's were so long! I noticed this last week, more traffic on the roads etc, we shall see what the PM has to say in a fortnights time. I do my shopping but go early to avoid the crowds, I always do go early so that isn't a problem. The number of deaths and new cases is on the way down so we can only hope it stays like that.

Oma - I'm so sorry, I didn't see your post from earlier about writing a card for your brother. I think you needed that cry, and will need more in coming days, just like Clover and Glamm. Sending hugs and love. xxx
