Its sunny but cold out , was wild during night though ,

What is keeping you awake was your mind still going over the details of the holiday do you think ?

Lizzie the world over you get inconsiderate people parking , maybe the car park should have a ticket machine and barrier that you pay but get your money back when you produce your ticket at pool reception and a ticket to get out again ,

Nanto a day to stay in I think if you have snow too it will be freezing out .

Daisy dashing around again you will be meeting yourself coming back at this rate

Nana you reminded me I have one of those colouring books somewhere I will have to seek it out

wondering how our other ladies are , if any are looking in im sending hugs and saying hello xxx

Off to Ikea this morning I need some long handles for the new cupboard doors we putting up in the downstairs loo , its a tall cupboard above the hand basin so need longer handles than my last one , then to the Range my lamps have finally arrived ,
Will pop to Asda while im there may as well its all in same area ,

Spoke to my DS yesterday he's been in bed almost a week with this cold going around he said he has never felt so poorly , its his Birthday on Friday ( valentines day ) he wont be celebrating this year .
Text my sister this morning and her and BIL have it and my two nieces , was going to visit tomorrow but wont bother now ,

My Embroidery friend rang yesterday tea-time to say she felt we shouldn't go to embroidery, I was very pleased and went out to put my car away and it was snowing! It is sunny now but the grass is covered in frozen snow, what next!

We are having a similar problem at out swimming pool but the other way. The pool car park is shut because the surface is slippery and last year an elderly man slipped and died. The pool users are parking in the Waitrose car park next door and filling up the public car park which is free atm. Waitrose have reduced their parking time to 1 1/2 hours to stop them.

Love an Alan Aykbourn play Gemini, my OH and I used to go to Windsor Theatre. Our local theatre don't seem to do plays just comedian type shows.

WG, pleased your DD and DS were able to help and I am sure the painting will calm your thoughts.

I hope your trip to Leek tomorrow goes well and you get things moving to a conclusion Daisy.

Morning. Well, everyone's busy today. Oma, it took my OH 3wks to get over that awful cold. It left him with a horrendous cough. Doc gave him antibiotics in the end as it lasted so long. Hope it's not as bad for your relatives. How's B & your DD by the way?

I'm going to finish off some bunting for my GD's tea party here on Saturday, today. I normally buy the silver plastic type one's but thought I'd do my bit for the environment. After that I'm going to start knitting squares. Hope you all have a good day.

Plant, yes I can see that happening at a Waitrose when people for the pool use the car park.

Well we have had weathers today, except fog.
We went to the post office earlier,it's only one street away.
It was sunny when we set off, only got halfway along the street and it started hailstoning.

Lizzie - it seems the UK isn't the only place with car parking problems! Good for you for emailing the Council - nothing will happen if nobody complains.

Gem - I'm so glad you got your usual seats for the panto.

Plant - you can't win with these car parks. Our local Sainsbury's is resurfacing their car park and it's chaos!

Everybody you talk to has either had this awful cold going round, or knows somebody with it.

We've had hail today, but no snow. It's bitterly cold though, even when the sun's out.

Daisy its freezing here just come in black again we did have hail earlier , the wind factor is making it feel so much colder ,

DD been to Breast Clinic again a fluid sac , its been drained and she's had a scan.
Dr has said its because of the menopause and to expect more before its over .
He thinks she's further along in the Menopause than she thought and some woman are prone to these lumps while going through it ,
Obviously she isn't to ignore any lump but to expect them . Feel better she's been and its ok.

The sun's rising in a fairly clear sky here, but I don't think it will last.

We're going up to Leek today - back Friday night - and I think it might be quite cold and chilly. It's a working 'holiday' spring cleaning my cousin's house and getting a few jobs done. The 'holiday' bit is because I won't have to cook, we'll eat in the hotel.

I'll try and pop in and say hi, but be good and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

A dry bright day with very little wind but its very cold ,
Popping to Aldi this morning and Post office must get DS's card posted for Friday ,
After that I have to go look for Bulbs for my new lamp's never gave them a thought , I have lots of different sizes in a box under the sink but these need large screw in ones that I do not have , typical isn't it .

Want to get the new replacement doors on the cupboard in my downstairs loo this afternoon it seems to be taking ages to sort just haven't seemed to have the time in past few days , its only them to do and its finished '

Wondering about all our poorly's and Poorly OH's I hope everything is ok with them xxxx
