    Good morning one and all.

Nanto - beautiful flowers. I love to see flowers arranged simply in a pretty jug.

Gem - we do need some rain, but I could do with getting the lawn cut first, please. But I must do some dog food preparation this morning, so that's my first job.

Gauntie - there are times when I wish I could do something useful, and I really admire what you are doing. The sitting room and study are as they are for a very worthy cause. Our DGs' other granny is making laundry bags. By the way - it's pretty much impossible to catch up with Chat - don't worry. It's great to see you any time.

Sending love to everyone, take care.

One of our local hospitals have said they have enough bags but they do need scrubs. I took all my spare bedding to the charity shop so not able to make bags.

I do hope the number of deaths is down again today. Boris is going to be at his desk today, I have been very happy with Dominic Raab, he is my sister's MP. I think he would make a good PM.

Bit dull today, I might do something outside instead of changing the bed, I can do that tomorrow if we are expecting rain.

        Good morning ladies .
we had rain last night but it's lovely this morning
Still feel all over the place but sitting crying isn't helping so I am making a effort today to get some normality back .
Grauntie lovely to see you hear . You have a excuse to have untidy rooms , what a great cause well done xx

Gem may as well get as much in the bin as you can , has Mum tried mixing again yet ? I'm sure a little bit at a time is all she needs then she will get more confident .

Daisy it is difficult catching up on chat sometimes you have to go back several pages to make sense of what's going on

I'm sure I have missed people off so I apologise if I have .

Got to finish my on line shopping order today , I washed during night and tumble drier so got that ironed this morning then dusted bedrooms , not sure what else I can do today see what pops up

Take care and stay safe ladies xxx

Oma, its lovely to see you posting. It is such early days, of course you will be all over the place. I know you will get through this, as you have come through so much before. I just wish you didn't have to
Not sure about mum mixing as she was never keen on mixing much anyway! As this is a smallish care home, less than a quarter of the size of the one my dad was in perhaps she may in time.

          The sun is out now

              Good afternoon all
Lovely to see Grauntie . Your OH sounds just like mine, find them a job to do and all of a sudden they find a list of jobs that need doing ASAP .
Carry on the good work, you are a credit to us all

Oma, the only way to cope is to try and keep yourself occupied.

Gem, hopefully your mum will make some new friends soon.

I have spent most of the morning changing my sim only plan . Had a text off Vodafone this morning informing me that my current plan is due to end and the new plan would increase by £6 . Oh no it won't thought I .
I got on to the Vodafone website and got a new plan . Not only have I managed to swerve the increase but its £2 less a month than I am currently paying , result !!

I was listening to Boris Johnson announcement this morning while I was having breakfast. Doesn't look like we are coming out off lockdown any time soon which is no surprise really is it .
I think less and less people will actually adhere it as time goes by. Let's face it there have been lots that haven't even taken it on board since day one .

Reading a report in our local newspaper, it said that the police were busy over the weekend with many people driving to the Brecon Beacons ( not far from us ) . The police had to turn back lots of people some being issued with on the spot fines.
In one report a man had walked up Mount Snowdon and when challenged by the police he claimed the rules didn't apply to him. UNBELIEVABLE! I despair I really do.

It is such a lovely day after a dull start.
We drove for 10 minutes and walked for well over an hour ( following current rules to not travel for longer than you exercise)
It was so lovely to be out, and those dog walkers, cyclists and families walking that we passed were all friendly and polite and all maintained at the correct distance. I do think most of us are following the rules. I do agree though that the longer it goes on the more people will 'cheat'.

You are able to spend some more time with S without your usual commitments Gemini. Sounds like a lovely walk

I drove up to the pond this afternoon and spent some time walking around the green and watching the ducks. I promised DD that I would not go into the shops on the green. It was pretty chilly here but late this afternoon the sun came out. I watched something on Netflix and did some knitting.

Saw on the news about the crowds driving to the Brecons, who are these selfish idiots!!

Good to see you posting Oma. Grauntie you too.
I need to make a plan to do something each day as every day is the same. Had video chats with GC & DDs today. Love them so much.😍

A dull start to the day. But,it was yesterday, then the sun came out.
It's oficially been the sunniest April on record, which doesn't surprise me.

Have as good a day as possible.

                        Morning Nanto and following ladies.
It’s dark and wet here. Doesn’t help one’s mood but the garden will be grateful and hopefully keep those inconsiderate people indoors who break the rules.

Tesco are due to deliver in an hour or so. I then have another booked in three weeks time. I don’t think I’ve cooked a proper meal since Christmas so only need the basics

Being on my own I seem to drift from one thing to another. GD said I should have one project a day which I try to achieve but at the moment nothing seems to matter much.Life is surreal for everyone.

Gem I’m glad you had a lovely walk. I’m sure your Mum is on your mind but she is warm and safe.
Try to have a good day everyone.x

Good morning to Nan2, Clover and all who follow.

Dull here too Nan, and I hope it may be like yesterday which turned out glorious in the end. The forecast is not so promising though.
Clover, for anyone in your position this is a strange and sad time in your life. Add to that lockdown and not having your nearest and dearest with you. I think you should congratulate yourself on how well you are doing to be honest. You are eating, you are functioning, and bless you you are posting and talking to us. Hang in there!
Likewise, Glamma Oma and everyone who is coping with things which lockdown makes harder. We are doing well

Nothing planned for today so far. We are going to have a pizza delivery for our tea tonight, and we have the weekly Whats App music quiz with friends. Usually Monday night, but our friend who is a nurse was working last night.

                          Take care everyone xxx

We are now not having the pizza tonight! I had forgotten that OH has a Zoom committer meeting at 7pm then our quiz at 8. I would be happy to have the pizza at 6, but she prefers to eat later. So.... it will now be pizza tomorrow night!

As it is a very dull day, I am going to change my bedding and get it washed. Windy and wet here. I agree with Gemini, we have some very sad friends with us atm who are being very brave. Sending lots of hugs to you.

Gemini I am still not sure when you are having pizza. Hope your mother is okay and hope she will enjoy mixing with others soon.

I do hope the number of deaths will be down again today, gives a bit of hope that we are having some success with the lock down. At least this rainy day will keep the socialisers indoors.

The sun is trying to get out but it's a bit blowy.

Gem shame about the pizza but something to look forward too . How is your Sister ? Hope this lockdown hasn't upset her routine to much and she's not confused by it , have you spoken to Mum this week ? Xx

I have been busy this morning I cleaned all the doors and drawers in the kitchen , cleaned the tiles and the work tops and general tidy and hoovering .

Went for a shower and decided I needed to shave my face of all the fluff and the start of a nice moustache , I then did my eyebrows Im coping with my hair at the moment as not going out means no one seeing me

Feel better this morning I had a good old cry during the night reading all the nice things on Face Book about my Brother but this morning I woke feeling a bit lighter
