    Good morning ladies.
If only there was a magic wand to wave away the grief, sadness and pain that so many are feeling right now

Today may be the end of the lovely weather spell, for a while at least. We will make to most of it and be outside.

    Take care everyone.
And it is Sunday, in case you were wondering!

Good morning ladies . Thank you for all your lovely messages .
please carry on as normal Nanto I look forward to your lovely graphics so don't stop .
Yes I'm incredibly Sad and today was supposed to be a joyous day but we are still making the most of it and it's my GD Birthday too .

Life must go on , I spoke to all my Niece's and Nephews last night we all agreed to Celebrate his life not dwell on the end . My Niece assured us he had a very peaceful end she said it was like he had just gone to sleep . She now is in quarantine for 2 weeks along with her Husband , but as no funeral can be arranged for a couple of weeks that's fine .

At the moment it doesn't feel real
I'm comforting myself that I got to speak to him on Tuesday and told him how much I loved him . Xx
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Hang on to that lovely thought Oma, and to that fact that for all most all his life he was fit and healthy, and he knew how much you loved him xxxx

          Good morning ladies.

Avo hope you are on the road to recovery and the pain has eased . A and E isn't the best place to be at the best of times and having to leave hubby at home couldn't have been easy .

We went for a walk early this morning as the weather was nice but mostly it was to avoid our neighbours who have had a lot of overnight visitors and as far as we can tell they are still there now, they must have had a party judging by the noise coming from their flat . Obviously the news doesn't reach their lives.

Oma lovely to see you this morning. Hang on there, we will get through this. X

Clover nothing wrong with ready meals , eating to keep yourselves healthy is the main thing. Sending you hugs x

Keep yourselves safe and well ladies

Lots of hugs to Clover and Oma and to anyone else who is sad and worried about a family member.

My DD and Sil have just gone for a cycle ride instead of a walk today. I have tired myself out in the garden, now going to have lunch and then rest. Might go for a stroll. Spoke to my 92 year old sister yesterday, she is finding the situation very hard to deal with, she was quite upbeat to start with. Her son who lives in Hong Kong should have been visiting her but he is now in Lockdown and as he is working he has to wear a tag, they can trace where he is going. My sister has bad health and only walks with a frame. Her GC are trying to see she is okay but with distancing they can't do much, she was a bit tearful yesterday and angry that some people are not treating it seriously enough.

Plant too many people are treating this situation as one long holiday.

Avo I’m so sorry you are poorly and hope you feel better really soon.

Mimi it makes me mad when people flout the rules. I’ve noticed one or two visitors in the road and as I know the residents I know their situation and none of them need these visits. I so want my DS1 to visit but obeying the rules,he can’t.

Not doing a lot today. Planted a few seeds I saved from last year and sorted out my underwear drawer.I cut the grass yesterday and it’s made my eyes sore so I’m not walking today.

                Hope you’re all having a reasonable day.xx

Clover - I'm glad you're taking things easy - and I hope you have more luck with seeds this year than I have. xx

Plant I do hope your sister is ok. Does she have carers or anybody who does go in. It's such a pity her DS hasn't been able to come over to help her. It must make her feel very vulnerable when she sees people flouting the restrictions, which after all are for OUR good, all of us.

Mimi - you must be furious with your neighbours - I would be. It's so unfair on those of us who are following all the rules.

Oma - a bittersweet day for you and B. I'm so glad you were able to speak to your brother in hospital, and that you told him you loved him. What a celebration of his fantastic life it will be when you can hold it. And I'm sure it would be what he would have chosen.

Gem - I hope you've enjoyed your day in the garden. How is your mum? Is she able to mix with other residents now?

We've had a busy day - I'll write about it later.

Mimi, i think a lot of people will continue to flout the rules. Only thinking about themselves.

Clover, ready meals are better than no meals.

GD1 says she feels a bit better, but the cough is taking it out of her. Her hubby seems to be better now.

Plant, hope your sister is ok. it must be so hard for her, being on her own.

Thank goodness your family seem to have had the virus mildly Nan2.
Daisy, my mum can mix now. They tried it once and she wasn't keen, but maybe she will in time.

Nanto - I hope your GD1 is getting plenty of rest. I think the cough can linger long after the infection has gone. xx

Gem - I think your mum may take a bit of time - she's lived on her own for a long time, but I'm sure eventually she'll start to get to know people. xx

Oh what a sad day. I'm really feeling upset for Oma, Glam & Clover. How heartbreaking it is for you & your families. It reminds us all to tell the people close to us how much we love them.

It was the anniversary of my lovely Dad's death too today. I still love & miss him.

Feels cooler this morning, but its bright.
We didn't get the showers over the weekend as forecast.
Plenty of little jobs to do today.

                              Good morning everyone.

                              What beautiful flowers Nan2.

It rained here overnight but is fine now with some blue sky coming through. There is a fair bit of rain due this week. I know the gardens and the crops in the fields need it, but I hope it doesn't go on for weeks!

Nothing much planned today . We may go to my mum's for a couple of hours. There is a corner in her bedroom needing my attention. It is her grey bin collection this week and there is a little room left in the bin so more decluttering should be done!

Have a nice day and stay safe.

                                Good Moaning Each,
Obviously I haven’t posted here for ages. I have tried to catch up now and then but it would take ages to read it all!
All orderly in Grauntie land, the garage is awaiting a royal visit, (sooo clean and tidy), garden still weed free, the sitting room and study are a complete tip. Fabric and pattern pieces everywhere. I made scrubs for DD2’s friend, a Sister in the thick of it, and now for the local Scrub Hub. These are not for the hospital but care homes, surgeries etc. apparently. I am going to train OH in the art of cutting out today which will help enormously.
Amendment, he has just said he has a list!🙄
Sending good wishes to all, stay safe.
