Busy day for you as well Oma.

Hubby just gone to pick up his pal and take him for a run in the car.
He's not been out for a while,he had to have a testicle removed for an abcess.(pal not hubby)
Doctors feared if they didn't remove it,it could possibly have turned cancerous.
And he hasn't been in our new car. They will probably stop at cafe somewhere for a cuppa.

I seem to have picked up a sore throat, I guess from the flight, so I am a bit slow this morning. Didn't feel like aqua so gave it a miss. I must make a start on putting things back in the bedroom drawers and wardrobes but no hurry, it will take time as I want to have a sort out. Very pleased with the room but a bit inconvenient not to have a blind at the large window, I put them in the bath to give them a wash and the weights at the bottom fell apart so a visit to JL is needed.

Is P due for another chemo Enfys? If so I hope he doesn't have a bad reaction this time.

Good morning all.
I’ve just finished using that hot , flat, hissy thing , not bad considering I was thinking about tackling the ironing last week , got round to it at last !
Having a well earned cup of coffee and then I have to pop to the shop to get some milk.

Yesterday I had a letter from our GP inviting me to attend the well woman clinic. I just know what I will be told , you will need to lose weight.
The only weight I put on was after the menopause and I haven’t actually put on any more weight for 10 years at least. That menopause weight is so hard to shift . I don’t smoke, eat fast food or junk food. I only eat 3 meals a day, perhaps the odd biscuit. Also I rarely drink. OH has suggested that maybe I don’t get migraines, it’s my halo, it’s too tight !!
Anyway got appointment in two weeks time .

Don’t believe it, a letter has just arrived from Specsavers, I have to make an appointment for them now !

Plant, you must have guessed, mum has cried off going to see my sister. No point me going on my own on the day I go to Mum's as its a 50 minute round trip. She is fine, doesn't ever anticipate us going, so I will maybe pop in on my own one day soon. I will write more about Mum elsewhere.

Nana, I'm sure the trip out will do your OH's friend good.

I have been a bit of a domestic goddess this morning, while OH is out paining at a friends house, finishing what she started yesterday.

Good morning, pouring with rain here too, very dark and dismal. Luckily I managed to cut the grass yesterday, P strummed the edges so that job is out of the way.

Mimi, P is OK thank you. I can tell he is feeling much better, he’s back on the chemo meds now however, so don’t know how long it will be before the tiredness creeps in again. But we take it as it comes and make the most of the good days 🙂

Glad to hear Nana is ok, she must be so pleased that it’s over.

Yuk, I found a slug in the kitchen this morning.......so now am going to give the whole room a good blitz, where do the little blighters get in? Horrible things 🙀

GS2 for the day then school pick up for GD. OH is at her aunt's funeral at midday. I doubt she will be back before I leave for school, so GS will come with me..

Very dull here, need to go out sometime for some food shopping. I was going to see my new GGD this morning but I have a head cold so have called that off. I decided yesterday that I would give the rest of the bungalow a clean before I started moving things back into wardrobes and drawers. With furniture movers, decorator and carpet fitters tramping in the place needed a clean. I now feel more relaxed and ready to start putting things back.
