Morning ladies , we have lovely blue sky's and sun but its nippy ,
Enfys I bet there is more natter than knitting , My DD loves the caramel coffee , she also loves Costas Christmas flavour , Strangely enough I very rarely drink coffee but I am drinking a cup right now
Gem did you enjoy your take away ? When I worked at the Chinese the boss used to make me a Singapore noodle dish without the prawns , I have never tasted anything as good since , I now tend to stick to chicken curry and fried rice on the odd occasions we do get a Chinese take away :
Daisy tell J I send my love and Birthday kisses xx
Nanto even if its only shopping it gets you out doesn't it , Love Minnie mouse
Well I got up this morning with no pain as such just a dull ache that I can cope with well , Sinus's are still blocked though ,
We have Storm again today as GS1 has a Match in Wolverhampton , DD dropped him at the team coach at 6.30 this morning then they followed down in the car .
Storm is now crashed out at my feet lazy dog
We donβt have anything planned for today, OH hates it when I spring suggestions to him on a Saturday as itβs the day when he settles down to watch the sports on the tv. He flicks from channel to channel.... why do men do this. I find one program I want to watch and stick with it to the end.
Oma, I'm pleased to hear you're feeling better. J says thank you and can he have a birthday every day, please? Eva's just reclaimed her bed in the living room - I've been wielding the sucky up thing in there and she's exhausted!!
Mimi - there was one day during Wimbledon this year when my OH was jumping between three channels - tennis, cricket and I think golf was the other one! Then they say they can't multi-task when you want them to help with something around the house!
Enfys - everyone I've spoken to seems pleased with their Nespresso. We've got a Tassimo which is good, but as I mainly drink black coffee I never know if the other flavours are nice or not! What are you knitting at the moment?

We have had a productive time in the garden. OH has been cutting the hedge and I gathering up the branches to put in the bin. Then she went up the ladder to gather apples from our tree, and passing them to me. We have 3 buckets full. They are cooking apples, so lots of pies, crumbles and apple sauce will be made

It hasnβt stopped raining all day! Got a few jobs done indoors, enjoyed our lunch and I e been sitting knitting whilst DH watches a film. Daisy Iβve just finished another pair of socks and Iβm also making a wrap type garment, ready for when it gets cold. BUt I really like my woolly socks so I expect Iβll cast on another pair soon. DD and DG both would like another pair too, so I shall be busy π

Clover, not they will be fine stored in the garage flat on cardboard boxes from the supermarket. I will prepare some and leave others for a while.
I'm sorry got those of you with rain. It was such a lovely day here. We got gardening done and lots of bedding dried on the line.We are due the rain tomorrow however.
We visited our friends and saw the patient. She's glad to be back but has a cocktail of painkillers. This is really putting me off a knee replacement so I hope I don't need one!!

Well done Oma's J. I'm glad your pain is easing. Funnily enough Mimi OH just came in from walking the dog, got hold of the remote & flicked over to see if rugger was on another channel. Daisy did you pay him to do it? It was 2mins from the end of a Christmas film. π‘ I was starting to feel all warm inside.
Gem I saw your pic of the apples on Fbk. What a lovely crop. Enfys you are clever. Do you knit your socks in the round? Something I've never learnt, but need to. Gs3 wants a Harry Potter oversize jumper for one of his Christmas presents. The neck is knitted in the round.π² Nan2 my baking cupboard is safe as OH never goes in there. Clover one of my favourite pies.
It's rained all day here, but I'm glad some grannies were able to get out in sunshine! Our turn will come, Enfys!!
Gem - what a great crops of apples. Cookers usually keep well, don't they. Oh dear, your poor friend. But try not to worry - different people have different reactions to surgery and even if you do need a knee replacement you won't necessarily need the same kind of after care. Hopefully though your current knee will be good for many years to come.
Enfys - you re a busy (knitting) bee, but you'll be glad of those socks come the winter.
Clover - I think I can smell that yummy pie from here.
Oma - well done to J and the rest of his team. I bet he was thrilled to have got the winning goal on the shoot out. There must be a huge amount of pressure not to miss.
We've had a lovely afternoon and evening with DS1 and family. The boys seem to grow every time we see them. DS2, who is nearly 15 is at the silent teenager stage, snuggled into his hoodie, but he spent most of the afternoon sprawled on the floor drawing a very inticrate abstract pattern in black and white. Eva and their doggy, Bailey had a lovely time. They don't play like Eva and Cooper do, but after a while they sprawled out on the sofa on top of each other and went to sleep! We had a lovely Chinese, so no cooking and only minimal clearing up!

Daisy I can just see Eva & Bailey snuggled up Teenage boys have very little to say to adults do they
Enfys I used to make socks many years ago , I started with the 4 needle method then onto the round needle , not sure I would know how to now though so long ago
Nana my niece is 30 and she has Harry Potter PJ's , Jumper , socks , you name it she has it , once a Potter fan always a Potter fan
Clover can you freeze some of your Pie , I have this image of a Desperate Dan from the Beano pie on the table
Gem don't be put off everyone is different with surgery xx
J's team won the tournament He rang to tell us about it as he was going out with friends when he got home so didn't come with his Dad to pick Storm up
No doubt we will see the pics of the Trophy tomorrow some time
