Sorry to hear about your fall, Plant. You must feel very shaken up. Lizzie, pleased to hear you are feeling better now. Shingles is so painful, isn’t it.

Had a catching up day today. I had some things to do for our WI, printing off photos, writing up about some events for our scrapbook so I’ve managed to catch up with that. Just need to finish off this afternoon. I also want to u out into my family tree some new info I have, otherwise I’ll forget about it. So plenty to keep me busy.

Daisy, I can understand your DIL,saying that about her new hob. I love the induction and it does make me want to experiment a bit more, whether I will or not we shall see. So far I’ve only used the little top oven, it’s perfect for the two of us.

Its very dreary here, but not particularly cold just damp and dull.

Plant - I'm so glad you weren't hurt in the fall. I had never thought of bowls as a dangerous game - apart from maybe back ache - but kicking the balls around is definitely a hazard. It's good if the injections are working, you don't need any more broken wrists. xxx I hope the cars are ok. It's easily done when you're manoeuvring in a tight space.

Oma - I hope the appointments today go smoothly - as least it's a couple of essential things in one day which is better than taking up time on two separate days.

Gem - I'm worrying for you as well. After all the planning and excitement it would be a major disappointment if you couldn't go. But I think you're doing the right thing - keep planning and booking Disney passes. It would be good if your travel insurance could be upgraded. There's nothing to be lost in trying. Have a nice time with GS2 after school.

I collected Cooper and came back and got on with getting a casserole in for lunch. I'm just off to see how it's doing - it smells ok. Turkey with peppers, mushrooms, onions, garlic, tomatoes, chickpeas and herbes de provence.

Oma, we should have had been at hospital twice this week, but OH was sick this morning and isn't feeling too good. Phoned the Oncology Dep't and nurse said she'd speak to his consultant, but probably best to leave it until the end of the week before coming in for his blood test. Will wait to hear from him before we phone the Eye doctor. Advice was to wait 48 hours before going in to hospital, which is just like the schools these days.

Our log store and logs arrived earlier so I've spent most of the morning piling the logs up. Those that were left over have gone in the now vacant half of the garage.

I have some Seville oranges so I might make a start on making some marmalade. No reading today as they're off on a visit to Wicken Fen. Luckily the rain seems to be holding off for them.....and for my towels blowing gaily in the wind!

Nanto I really like a proper Roast chicken , we use a lot of Chicken breast but it never tastes the same as a real Roast whole Chicken .

We went to the Hospital to pick B's Meds up after his Prescription Review , then to Morrisons and Aldi .

Then we went to our SIL's new shop its looking good they plan on opening on 28th now they have internet and other stuff connected .
While I was there I spied a nice carpet for my living room , B sort of groaned so im working on him hahaha, well we have to support a new business don't we

Oma OH was ringing the insurance company this afternoon .I haven't heard from her so not sure if she got it sorted. I'm at DDs with GS.

Oma, poor B, it isn't long since you changed your carpet in the SR.

Just apologised to GD's partner for putting a scratch in his car, just been out to get my car out for Trefoil this evening and noticed her wasn't so close to my garage. I am cross with myself because that is the first time I have scratched someones car since I started driving some 59 years although I have caught my own car twice.

I've been clearing out drawers today throwing out rubbish whilst looking for my second pair of glasses. No luck yet. There's a fault with the covering on my 1st pair & the guarantee runs out first week in April. I can't see without my specs so need to find my 2nd pair so these can be sent off. Search will continue tomorrow.

Good morning.The sun is shining and no wind. A bit nippy though.

No set plans for today,apart from going to in laws.

Dinner today is the rest of the chicken from yesterday. it was a big one. Hubby requested chips and beans with it.

Lovely and sunny here too, but there is a breeze.
A free day for me.
OH has the dentist, just a check up, then a golf club lunch with speaker later. I think I will go to look at prescription sunglasses. I need some new ones for this summer, so will get them in time for our holiday.
I had a lovely time with GS1 yesterday. He is such good company when you can tear him away from his screens!
OH couldn't get through at all to the insurance company yesterday. We will hopefully do so today!

Nana I hope you track those glasses down. We (my WI friends) are going to crochet the squares together today, well make a start.

After I have helped putting the blanket squares together, I need to go to JL to return some jeans. Why did I think at 81 I could wear black jeans, blue yes, cream yes. Anyway they were way too long.
