Its getting really stormy here too , typical when the window cleaner came today

Gem even if B gets a cold I worry its coming back its only natural when you have had this awful experience , at the minute hes having loads of trouble with Graft V Host and its like having Crones constantly , he was at the hospital this morning , as its not getting any better they are going to put a camera down to check although they are convinced it is GVH and his bloods are superb , but I still worry.

Daisy poor GD but I bet cuddles from Grandad helped , I hope he manages to get to eye appointment tomorrow xx

Today will have been the worst day for Glamm poor woman I bet she's worn out emotionally bless her .

Good morning, a quick look at all the posts, hope all is well Gem, it will be worrying with going through it all before.

Oma, hope B is ok, the friend I go to the pool with on a Monday was very worried yesterday, her partner was taken to the hospital on Friday and having tests etc at the moment. All worrying things happening.

I am going to the cycle place this morning, will be busy on the roads near Utrecht but will leave here early and give myself plenty of time.

Very windy here at the moment, will see if we get our bike ride in today.

Gem, try not to worry, I’m sure all will be well. Oma, poor B, a worry for you too, hope all is OK. I know that dreadful feeling so ((Hugs))) to you both.
Hope DH can get to his appointment Daisy, what a nuisance.

It was extremely windy here yesterday, Brendan definitely making his presence felt, but much quieter this morning,

Today we are supposed to be having the replacement washing machine delivered, between 11 and 2, so we shall see. People have been having problems apparently, but so far so good for us.

So, no plans for us today, the old machine is out and I’ve cleaned all behind it. I think I’ll take the opportunity to clear out a few more cupboards. We took a load of stuff to the charity shop yesterday, such a good feeling. Then I’ll tackle my wardrobe, I have so much stuff I don’t wear, it’s ridiculous.

Thinking of Clover, hope all is well for them also Glam, after yesterday 🌺

I hope your friend's OH is OK Lizzie.
It's all calm here too.
A free day for me, as for the next few weeks I will be collecting GS1 on Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays, to suit DD and SIL. I hope to change back to Tuesdays eventually, as Wednesday is usually a free day for us both if we want to go anywhere.
Stuff to do for mum on my 'free' day though! Find a new dentist and make an appointment as she can no longer manage all the stairs at ours, and has a broken tooth or lost filling. It will mean going private now but she accepts that. I also need to go to the Halifax for her.
I will type up last Thursday's Minutes too.
OH is in her usual Tuesday golf competition. She thought the course would be closed as it will be so wet, but it is open.
We may go to Aldi after golf, not been there for a while.

The winds have calmed down here as well, but who knows what later will bring.

Oma, I know you worry about B but the hospital sound very confident it's his GVH, but even so it must be horrible for B, and he's so brave.

Lizzie - I hope your friend's partner is ok. It must be an anxious time for both of them. Riding a bike in a high wind is scary. Take care.

For some reason I was really tired all day yesterday. Much as I enjoyed having GD2 it was a bit of a struggle - you never seem to get a chance to sit down when the little ones are around, do you! Anyway I went to bed at 9.30 and slept straight through until 7.30 and feel fine now.

Edit - sorry I wrote this over half an hour ago and then we had a power blip and it disappeared. I've had to reinstall my browser.

Gem - another busy day for you today. I hope you get everything sorted out.

Enfys - I hope your new washing machine arrives safely. Clearing out cupboards and wardrobes is good for the soul, I'm sure. I wish I could get OH to see that! Bless him, he's such a hoarder.

Good morning all
OH has had to travel to Birmingham hospital today for his Botox injections so he was up at sparrows cough to catch an early train and because it was dark he would have missed the tv cable that was swaying in front of the outside sitting room window. I didn’t see it until I opened the blinds .
Its obviously blown down in the gales last night. ( We have been promised more later today )
. I have managed to tuck it behind the drainpipe for now. It’s not connected to our Sky dish and I have spoken to our neighbour upstairs and it’s not hers so I will wait until OH gets home and see what he thinks

We have chosen a plumber, the most expensive but he seemed to be more experienced and he is also going to rip up the old seal around the bath and put some new seal there.
Also on the plus side it’s the plumber our cat didn’t hide from and after taking to DS2 he knows him and he has worked with his dad It’s a small world!

Had a better nights sleep last night which was really surprising as I had some worrying news from DS2 ( I will post on YEO )

Enfys I always get a good feeling after I have sorted out my clothes or kitchen cupboards and then donate to the charity shop and I do try not to replace all of it with more clothes, don’t always succeed though.

I managed to drag B to Ikea this morning I tempted him with breakfast there first before we shopped We then went to Argos and Asda , all in the same area .

Came home had a cupper then popped to B& M ,
Just got back and our friends D&J popped in , they were taking Storm home as its their day for him then to pick GS1 up from school

Finally have 5 mins to myself

Its been pouring with rain all day and very dark so a good day to stay in and get jobs done. Pasta for tea tonight, so nice and easy.

We didn't go to the Halifax as we can't park anywhere close and it was pouring down! We went to Aldi for a good browse and shop. I will go on Thursday before I go to mum's. No bus needed this week!
