Enfys - I'm sure the surgery were fine about you missing the appointment - they would know you don't make a habit of it, and some poor overworked doctor was probably glad to have an extra 10 minutes. I hope all goes well tomorrow.
I don't know why fish and chip shops serve up such large portions. We usually get two fish, two peas and one portion of chips.
Gem - so glad your mum and sister were both ok today. It must be a relief for you on both counts. Relax and enjoy your night away, even if the weather forecast is pretty awful.
Clover, I know it isn't what you'd choose but you are getting to be an expert at these DIY jobs. Well done. Mind that poorly toe tonight if you do a bathroom trip in the dark.
Nanto - enjoy your new car. I'm loving mine.
Plant - did you do the dusting?
OH had another eye injection today, Oma. It went as well as it ever does. It seems to wipe him out for the rest of the day and the next as well. He's been dozing in the chair since we got back, although he did have a rude awakening when Eva came flying in from the garden and jumped on his lap for a cuddle - it was pouring with rain and she was soaked! LOL The roads were incredibly quiet today - it was so unusual!
My back's been fine - I cut the lawn again this afternoon, just before the rain started and did a bit of weeding.
Nanto - your comment didn't sound mean. I think it must be hard when you know you can get called on at any time, and a bit of 'you' time must feel very precious.
