Evening All
I survived the Thai foot massage, no nibbling fish, and it included a head massage too! Wonderful. SiL 1 had all children and we came home to a riotous game of rounders.
A chilly day today, we went for a constitutional on the sea front which was bracing!
Hope you all had a lovely day.

Avo - you've had a very busy Mothering Sunday, but I'm sure it was much appreciated. I hope the rest of the day gave you a chance for well-earned relaxation in front of your wood burner.
Gem - I'm so glad you mum enjoyed her afternoon, not least because I know it made it a happier time for you all. xx
Grauntie - I'm pleased and relieved to hear you weren't fish-nibbled, especially with the head massage! Your SIL1 is a star!
Plant - I hope you've enjoyed your day, too.
Clover - I hope that pile of ironing is still lurking in a dark corner for another day. xx

My day didn't go to plan - well, I didn't have a plan except to do some gardening.
I had just answered my phone to DS2, wishing me a happy Mother's Day when the doorbell rang and there stood DS1 and GS1, clutching a large bunch of beautiful flowers, and both wearing big grins. I was wishing I'd dried my hair after my shower, as I looked like a drowned rat.
It was a flying visit from DS1 and GS, but lovely to see them. We had bacon and egg butties and then DS wanted to show me his new (to him) car so we had a quick trip over to DS1's. They also spoiled me with some lovely presents, including full-sized (6" x 4") photos of the girls printed onto fridge magnets. DS1 dropped me back home and they had to rush off as GS1 had to be in Bracknell for climbing.
I was rather amused when I put their cards on the mantelpiece to see one said "Supermum" and the other "Wondermum"!!!
It's lovely having longer evenings, as I was still able to cut and edge the lawn, take Eva to the paddock for a run and then cook dinner.

Morning ladies.
it's nice reading about everyone's Mothers Day
I have heard my first April Fool thing! OH reading her emails was amazed that the golf club were reporting on members now doing regular car washes and that the ladies team were invited to pull their weight and join. She read this out and just as I realised it was April 1st, she got to the end of the email which gave it away
Free day today! The sun is shining too. I want to walk into the village to the bank this morning ,and I will go to a big branch of Boots later to buy a wrist splint. The GP I saw on Friday said I may as well just buy one, as I would take for ever for the one my own GP ordered for me to actually materialise
It has been aching a bit more, so unless this splint works wonders, I will be having the injection at my next appointment.
Happy Monday all.

Glad you had a nice day Clover and the ironing is still waiting!
We had a delicious meal at DDs, I was very lucky and received some lovely goodies and cards. Today DH wants to take some stuff to the tip....exciting.... it it will be good to see it gone and the garage a little clearer. Then I’ll see if I can get some gardening done, GD is popping over this afternoon and she said she’ll give me a hand.
Have a good day everyone 🌞

Had a lovely day yesterday, GGS and his father GS1 arrived in the morning so saw them before GS3 arrived to take me to DS and Dil's for lunch. They had the usual crowd there, some mothers, some just friends. DS pulled it off again with a gorgeous lunch. I think there were at least 13 for lunch (lost count) people kept arriving. Taxi home about 7pm
I hope the splint helps with the pain Gemini.
Lovely surprises for you Daisy for Mother's Day.
I am still saying the wrong time, must have another go to fix it.
