Good morning all, its a dry but chilly day here at the moment

I had a lovely Mothers Day at DS and DIL's yesterday . DS did the cooking, we had lamb with all the trimmings, DS 's roast potatoes were fantastic, mine are never as tasty as his ! Eldest GS wasn't there as he is in Paris with his GF, GD was there but she was so busy with home work that she only joined us when we were eating. I was completely spoiled with flowers, chocolates and gift cards

Good afternoon everyone. It's another beautiful sunny day here, but the forecast for tomorrow is 'April showers'. Not so good.

Still, I've managed to get a few loads of washing out on the line today, despite help from Cooper! I don't know why he's interested in our washing when he's got Eva to play with!

Gem - I hope the splint helps, but it's looking more like the injection is the way forward.

Plant - enjoy your bowls.

Enfys - we need a trip to the tip as well - what fun!

Well i'm shattered. Didn't sleep well last night.
Had extra jobs to do at in laws,with having been away last week.
Came home,then went to post office.
Made dinner,then got the grass cut.

Nanto - you need a holiday to get over your holiday! Seriously, I think the hour going forward makes a huge difference for a day or two. When I was working it used to take me about a week to readjust to the difference in time for my caffeine fix. I hope you sleep better tonight.

I collected our two GDs and took them back to their house. I'd promised DS I'd do a small job in the garden so went outside. While I was out the girls decided to tidy out the cupboard under the stairs. It mainly holds coats etc, shoes, dog towels and leads, and the hoover. Everybody (me included) just chucks things in rather than bending down to put them away neatly. They did a good job and were very proud of themselves! I think I'll give them a real challenge and bring them back here tomorrow!

Pleased we got the gardening done yesterday,it's raining this morning.
Shopping being delivered between 9 and 10. Used Tesco this time for a change.

It rained here overnight but has stopped. DD1 has been bemoaning the lack of rain for her allotment so I should be glad!
Nan2 I hope you have caught up on your sleep a bit.

Vet for me and little kitty this afternoon, then off to collect GS1 from after school computer club and look after him until SIL gets home.
This morning I may do a little of the leaflet round which OH and I do together. So many to do at the moment, I will be glad when the local elections are over!!

Yes ladies,i did sleep a bit better. Took a while to get off.
I looked ant the closk and it was a couple of minutes before midnight,next thing i knew it was 5am.

Good moaning each.
No rain as yet and I’m hoping it’s going to hold off as I need to finish digging a border. Someone gave me some blue grasses which self seed everywhere so they have to go. This means I must go to the garden centre and find a few things to replace them, which gives me great joy! 😁 (any excuse). Also waiting for payment on eBay for an item I sold. Won’t hold my breath though, I’ve had 2 non payers lately which is a palaver. Update, payment now received. Happy day!
I hope everyone’s day is more exciting than mine. 😁

I’ve stripped the bed but think I’ll use the tumble dryer although we don’t have rain yet I don’t think it’s far away. Village coffee morning today so will pop over for a natter. Nothing exciting planned today.

Dull morning here, I have a quiet week this week. I am going to pop out to get some colour charts and possibly some trial pots. Haven't heard from the decorator regarding a date and I don't suppose he will give me much notice so I want to be ready, decision making about decorating doesn't come easy unlike you Oma. My spare room has clothes rails borrowed from family are sitting waiting for the off. I know he was having a problem settling his mother in a nursing home.

Sounds like a great job your 2 little GD's did Daisy.

I hope your kitty is feeling better and the visit to the vets goes well.

Wet, grey morning here.....and not very warm! Had my first yoga session this morning since February. Hopefully won't ache too much over the coming days.

I think I may be forced to do some ironing as it's not a day to be doing things outside.

What a change in the weather. Dull and drizzly here and very chilly. So pleased we did some gardening yesterday.

Check up at the dentist this morning. Our usual dentist has left so we had a new one and very nice he was too....so gentle. All ok so,that’s it for another 6 months. Then supermarket shop and now home enjoying a coffee. We’ve gone for the easy option for lunch and have bought 2 ready made curries so an easy day for me 🙂
