    Good morning, beautiful morning here.

i am currently sporting the beginnings of a black eye and an egg sized lump on my forehead! Stupidly tripped up the back door step this morning ....wearing silly too big slippers! Don’t the records show that slippers are the cause of many accidents within the home? Feeling sore and bruised but ok otherwise. Luckily nothing planned for today, apart from my knit and natter this afternoon, I’ll see how I feel.

We Had a good day yesterday, managed to get the plants we wanted for our pots, enjoyed a nice lunch out then DD and GD came over for the afternoon. I now have two helpers for doing the garden as GD offered too so that should work out fine.

Have a good day everyone 🌞

Lovely morning here too. We’re taking two gs to Norfolk Showground Vintage Vehicle Rally. Eldest gs aged 5 really loves steam engines. I’m sure we’ll have a great time whilst DS enjoys his birthday sans little boys!

I have full access to the laptop and caps!
Oh dear Enfys, I hope you are OK? I think you're right about slippers. I banned OH from going into loft in them after she fell down the loft ladder in slippers. Take care!

Good Saturday morning, ladies. It's a bright and sunny start here, although the temperature dropped close to freezing over night.

Nanto - it sounds as though you've just about caught up with the washing after you holiday. Looking forward to hearing all about it.

Oma - I hope you get what you're looking for at Mountain Warehouse. I like their tops and fleece jackets. It's nice that they do them in difference thicknesses, and last year I bought some zipped leg walking trousers which are great for our erratic climate.

Gem - I had to smile about no capital letters! Most mornings I have Eva 'helping' me type. After a few minutes she gets fed up and lies down across the doorway, but I have to be given my morning cuddle first! How is kitty this morning?

Enfys - ouch, that sounds very painful! Have you got Arnica cream for the bump? It helps to reduce bruising. I think you're right about slippers and accidents. My OH nags me about wearing Crocs, especially without the strap round the back, but I think slippers can be worse! I hope you feel ok for your Knit and Natter this afternoon, but if you don't stay home and take it easy. xx What plants did you get for your pots? Your garden will be a picture with your willing band of helpers working on it.

Avo - I bet your GSs will have a fantastic time. It's funny how mesmerised little boys are over big, hissing steam engines. Happy birthday to DS.

I'm going to have a day on the garden today. OH is going out at lunch-time and won't be back until late, so I won't have to cook a meal, so I'm going to make the most of it and declare war on the weeds.

          Have a good Saturday everyone.

Daisy, she seems good. Still a spot of blood on each wee in the tray, but the wees are normal size and colour apart from that, which is progress. I have no problem giving her the liquid painkiller each morning in her food. Trying not to worry too much about her, and see what Tuesday brings.
The early mist has cleared, and it looks like another lovely day

Gem, it sounds as though she's doing well, and the painkillers are probably making her feel more comfortable so she's more relaxed. Give her a gentle cuddle from me. xx

Sunny here too, I haven't poked my nose out yet so not sure of the temperature. a guiding friend is running a craft fair for her WI funds so will pop in there this afternoon. Not sure what the family have planned. GS1 and her boyfriend are back both with nasty colds, they think they picked them up in the hotel sauna.

Pleased to hear kitty is feeling better, they love to help with the keyboard.

Enfys, so sorry to hear about your fall, I had an elderly friend who always wore house shoes indoors. I used to wear crocs around the house and out but daren't risk wearing them now.

Have a lovey day ladies whatever you are doing.

Craft Fair very good, clever people. I went early and parked at the hall and walked to the village pond and fed the ducks. Male ducks chasing females who are n short supply. The pub was very busy, just re-opened after a re-fit and the cafe doing a good trade. A Heron flew in and stood very still hoping for a fish, not sure there are any in there. Shame about the traffic rushing by.

Enfys - I'm glad you're feeling better after your tumble.

Oma - you got a bargain at Mountain Warehouse! but hopefully you won't need them often if we have another summer like last year.

Plant - you made the most of your visit to the Craft Fair. So many places these days are spoiled by traffic noise and fumes.

I've just stopped for a quick cuppa before going back out in the garden.

Daisy they fold up into a little bag so we can leave them in the glove box of the car and they can pop into the bag behind B,s wheelchair for sudden bursts

Very useful Oma, we’ve got a couple like that.

Enjoyed the knit and natter and I actually did a fair bit of knitting. Also very interesting chat about one of the ladies adopting a chicken! I didn’t know how much there was involved in caring for chickens! You live and learn. Feeling ok after my fall although I have a large bump over my eye and a lovely purple bruise on my leg....that’ll teach me 🙄
