Good morning, Nanto, and everyone who's having a lie in!

Nanto - oh dear, I know your Mam wasn't too well the other day, but it sounds as though she's poorly again. It must be hard for your dad at times like that, as well as you. I hope things are better today and they are able to have a little celebration for their wedding anniversary. There aren't many couples who reach their 74th anniversary. They must have got married just at the War was ending.

The sun's shining here, but it's a bit patchy. I hope it stays nice enough to get on with some gardening - I totally failed yesterday because it rained really hard after I got back from dog training - and I was very tired!

    Have a good Sunday everyone.

Oma - no rest for the wicked, they say!!! Back home and straight into the chores. It's a good job it's dry and sunny to get that lot dried. You should end up so tired you'll sleep like a log tonight. Enjoy your time with the GCs - I bet they're all glad to see you back.

Good morning Nan2, Daisy, Oma and ladies!

Oh dear, I'm sorry about the awful day with your MIL Nan2. I hope today is a better one.
I hope you get some gardening done Daisy, but not too much!
Talk about down to earth with a bang Oma! it will be nice to see DS, DD and GC though. How is B today, and has your cough gone?

Garden centre shopping for us today, and the hunt for a new phone for OH continues. A friend is calling in for coffee this afternoon.
I have some printing to do for tomorrow's meeting, so I must get on with that today as well.

Have a good Sunday, whatever it holds.

Hope mum is feeling better today Nanto.

Daisy I still haven't been able to plant the plants I bought the other day, at least GD2 boyfriend has unloaded the compost from my car. It was nice to have their company of them both over the weekend, they are going to an event today run by Tom Kerridge, he has a Restaurant in Marlow. DD and Sil back today. Daisy, I bought a turned wooden object from a man at the Craft Fair I went to yesterday. I am going to try to send you pics. but don't hold your breath. Out to lunch today with sil's mother.

Oma, enjoy your time with GC, son and daughter, they have missed you.

Morning ladies I never got back on here yesterday, too tired slept through the Eurovision some may say that was a blessing. Loud chaos emerged when eldest turned up and the twins love her and it got louder and louder in the end they played in the garden and we were able to hear ourselves speak , DS came for them about 4 and DD left just after, had our tea and I slept when I had come off the ceiling lol .
Out to help with the party today 13 children arriving at 2 pm, and they have booked a lady with musical instruments for all of them to use 🤭🤦‍♀️😫 DS he’s already booked the shed to sit in I might have to join him , OH staying at home having peace and quiet .
Oma glad to see you got home safely looking forward to hearing or seeing what the holiday was like.
              Nan2 💐

                Right here goes.
Brother in law rang yesterday afternoon, could i go round.
He 'd found mam on her knees on the bedroom floor. Off i goes and she's still on the floor when i got there.
Said him and his wife couldn't lift her up. God knows why,mam weighs nothing wet through.
Hubby came and helped me get her onto the bed. Then she told me while on the floor, she had blacked out for a few seconds.

So i rang 111, and what a faff that was. Came and checked her over. I told them all her complaints and all the pills/tablets she takes.
One of the medics told me there had been some arterial fibrilation activity. When i asked how serious she said very slight.
Fortunately her pacemaker had done its job. Doctor at the hospital wanted to admit her,but she insisted she wanted to come home.

By this time she looked a lot better and was talking fine. I told her it had to be her decision about coming home.
If she had been a bit doolally i would have told her she was staying in. Think we got home about 9pm, i've no idea how long we were at the hospital.

We've been round today, and she is ok. Dad being his usual grumpy miserable self, he doesn't like it when he isn't get any attention.
Hubby and me going back round soon, we left something for dad to microwave for their dinner, but he's fed up of cooking.

Nanto - my goodness, that was a day and a half with Mam. At least Dad can use the microwave to heat a meal up - it's not as bad as cooking from scratch. I hope he cheers up now your MIL is feeling a bit better. I bet you were shattered after all that worry. I've said it before - what would they do without you - you are such a blessing to them.

Qwerty - I can just picture your day, and you bouncing off the ceiling by the end of it! And then the party today! What a good idea, all those musical instruments. I'm sure they won't be too noisy! haha.

Plant - my gardening got rained off again as well! I potted on some yellow courgettes and some of the tomato plants which are finally putting on a spurt. Then we had lunch, I hung some more washing out and right on cue, as soon as OH came out to help me the rain started! It must have been the shock of OH in the garden. My DS2 would love to a Tom Kerridge event - he loves his recipes. It would be nice to see your wood item if you can send the photo.

Gem - did you buy anything at the garden centre? Has your OH got her new phone yet?

Thank you Nanto I do hope MIL is feeling better and FIL has stopped sulking

Gem did you buy anything at the Garden centre or was it just a browse ?

Qwerty I can almost hear the noise from hear hahaha

Daisy I had to bring my washing in too ,

Well my Babies have been and gone my head is bouncing everyone talking together ,

It cost us a fortune , we gave them all Money as we didn't bring presents back its all tourist tat ,
Then Oliver told us about a weeks trip he wants to go on with school but DS couldn't afford it with the move etc and it has to be paid tomorrow so he was disappointed .

Grandads pocket was £250 lighter when a very happy boy went home

We don't mind as we rarely get the chance to buy the two youngest anything so when we can pay for trips etc we will do .

Its starting to rain hear again its came in very dark and thundery looking .

Oma, hope B is feeling better.
                        Still sunny here.

Took beef casserole for mam and dad for dinner, so we know they have had at least one warm meal today.

Nanto, what a day, it all seems to fall on you to look after your in-laws. Hope Mil is feeling stronger now.

Oma, I expect you get great pleasure from helping your GC,

Daisy, I think I have sent you an email.

Qwerty, hope the party went with a swing.

Lovely lunch with SIL's mother, she had a bit of a turn when we were about to leave the restaurant, so got her to sit down again. This seems to happen when we all go out for a meal. SIL thinks it is a heart problem after she eats more than she usually does.

Plant - you did send me an email. Thank you very much. The photos of your new treasure are lovely. I'll try and put them on here if you like so everyone else can see them. I hope your SIL's mum is ok. It sounds feasible feeling like that after a larger meal than usual, but you'd probably feel less concerned if she had a check up anyway.

Nanto - as Plant says, it always seems to be you and your OH looking after your in-laws. I do hope MIL is feeling stronger again.

Qwerty - I hope you've got a quiet couple of days to get over all the partying.

Oma - it's nice to be able to do things for our GCs, and I'm sure Oliver will be over the moon that he can go on the trip. They're not cheap these days. Once the rain started here it seemed to set in for the day - we had to put lights on by 4 pm it was so dark! I hope your coughs are better, and B is feeling ok now. Sleep well tonight. xx

It's my usual dog and GD day tomorrow, but OH has promised to go and collect a load of packaging from DS2's garage that their new garden furniture came in, so I'll wait at their house for him to come and collect it and then bring Cooper back here. OH is also taking a trailer full of garden rubbish to the tip (I hope) - there would have been a lot more if it hadn't rained today! Dogs willing, I'll try and do some of the weeding tomorrow.

Oh what a carry on Nan2. It's not easy caring for older relatives is it!

I hope the party went well Qwerty and you survived it 😊

I'm glad the GC came Oma, even though they cost you money 😁

What a pity the lady was unwell after the meal Plant.

We bought lots of nice bedding plants at the nursery this morning. Some for our hanging basket and tubs, some to plant out at mum's.
We didn't do anything more about a phone today.
OH put a little table on our drive this afternoon and sold several of the tomato plants she grew from seed at 50p each.
Early meeting for me tomorrow morning so I may not get here on until I get back.

Daisy, I am more than happy for you to post the pictures I sent you for the others to see. I would loved you to see the other beautiful objects the gentleman had made. Because I was interested in his work, he talked me through how he had made some of the other objects on his stall.
