As OH can’t use a step ladder for many minutes because of getting dizzy it was my job to paint the walls in the hall, which is fine till Tesco delivery arrived.

So I carried on painting while he took charge in the kitchen with the groceries. Honestly it would have been easier to do it myself.

“ That green thing is a lime , put it in the fridge where the eggs go “ I replied.
And so it went on , me up a ladder and him in the kitchen asking where about 50% of the groceries go. I dread to think where he has put the items he never asked me about. Men !

I'm sure you'll find the bleach in the freezer (you OH would definitely not put it in the fridge!), the eggs out in the shed, bread in the kitchen bin, etc, etc. If you kitchen starts to smell a bit 'unusual', check that he hasn't put the kippers in the warming drawer of the cooker.

Sunshine and I had a lovely day in Southampton. We sat in West Quay over a coffee for a while (ages, actually), chatting. And then went into John Lewis. The restaurant is right at the top of the building and overlooks the docks, so we had lunch admiring the MSC Bellissima which is in port for its Christening tomorrow.

I think Sunshine was quietly eyeing up a state cabin for her next cruise.

It was towering over the other ships in port, dwarfing them.

Good morning. A bit misty here and very damp. Looks like rain later.

Nice for you and Sunshine to meet up Daisy. It is a lovely view from the top of West Quay, not sure I’d want to go on such a huge ship but nice to have seen it.

We enjoyed the new WI, everyone was very friendly and we had a talk and display by a lady who did the most amazing craft work. So a good morning out. We think we will join this one as they also have a walking group, craft group, lunch club and other various activities, so lots to join in with.

P is really so much better mentally, this last news has really boosted him.

Beef casserole in slow cooker, waiting for DS to FaceTime in about an hour then I’m off to my knit and natter this afternoon.

If I get to go on a cruise on it, I will need to bring my Sat Nav or I’ll get lost. I can get lost in John Lewis! Yes Daisy, I got my jeggings in M&S. I bought the grey ones. I am wearing them today, so I’ll see how I get on with them. Watch this space.

We had a lovely day with all 3 GC, it's a treat to have them all
We didn't win the quiz last night (nowhere close!!) but had a really fun night, and my pork stroganoff was lovely.
