Or were you like me having the knock out drops? Last time I had it done, I said I'd like to be sedated and the nurse, said I;ll give you both! So I had the numbing throat spray and the general. Had a fantastic sleep, though it did take a while to get me to come round afterwards! OH getting worried in waiting room!

I spent a nice couple of hours rock painting this afternoon. I have left all my stuff out at one end of the dining room table, so I can continue. It's quite a long table so unless we have guests we don't need that end!

I'd like to get some gardening done today if it dries up a bit. We cut back a large climbing rose on Friday and the prunings are still on the patio because OH wouldn't let me put them straight into the trailer - he wanted to cut them up and bag them. I'm hoping that's his first job today! There's a huge pile of ironing leering at me, but I'm trying to resist its siren call!!!

Daisy, some of the rocks are for GS2. I have done 3 little pigs (his favourite story at the moment) My wolf rock isn't working, so I have that to do.
I think the others will probably go out during the Easter holidays, by then we should have few to hide around the village and they can help me hide them.

GS2 is coming for a few hours today, as his sister is doing her karate grading, for her green belt this time.

Nothing else planned for the rest of the day, so far.

Daisy you’ve reminded me about rose pruning.I usually wait until March but I did read yesterday an article by Monty Don about pruning climbers so I ought to get on with it. My climbing rose has got out of control and the flowers are getting higher and higher so drastic action is called for.

Nothing planned, might see GGS later. Had lunch yesterday with DD, Sil and his mother. They are going to have a family get-together soon (she has 6 children) to talk about whether she is able to continue living on her own with the help she gets. I feel that might be quite a heated discussion because the children have differing views, ultimately of course she will make the final decision. the nursing home she would be willing to go into is very, very expensive. Lovely and sunny here, might get in the garden but I am not dressed yet.

Good morning all. It was lovely here earlier so I took the opportunity to do a bit of tidying up in the garden. Next week is the first collection of our garden refuse bin so I thought it was a good time to do,some clearing up. Now it’s very dull and looks like rain so glad I started earlier.

We are going over to DDs later and DGD is cooking us a meal which will be nice.
