I have scoliosis too WG. It was discovered incidentally by X ray after I was knocked down by a car aged 11. I have never had any treatment though . I had to have regular X rays for a couple of years back then.

Mimi, dust off your tennis shoes!

Daisy I bet your GD was glad to get back to school.

GS was very pleased to see me . It was an interesting afternoon. Each class showed us what they have been learning about e safety, with songs rhymes and posters.

Morning ladies. Nothing special planned for me. Just the usual kind of day.
Hubby will probably be doing his DIY.

Corned beef and onion pie for dinner, with mash, cabbage and carrots.

Good morning Nan2, Plant and everyone else.

Reflexology for me this morning, my monthly treat. Tesco delivery is coming between 1 and 2. I have added my aunties shopping to it, but haven't got mums list so will have to go to Tesco tomorrow!
Not sure what I am going to do this afternoon yet. I will let you know!

              Happy Wednesday everyone.

Good morning Nanto, and everyone who arrives later. I see Buttercup has delivered lovely fresh milk for our morning cereal.

I feel like Clover - lots to do, but don't feel like doing any of them! But I'm off to the hairdressers in a couple of hours, so I've got an excuse. Nana - did you just have a trim or a whole new look?

WeeGranny - I do hope the Lumbar Decompression works for you. I hope your OH has got his apron ready to take over kitchen duties while you recover. I haven't watched Shetland, but perhaps I should! Although if you've already claimed the hero I might have to 'discuss' it with you.

Plant enjoy your craft group. Is this a new group you've joined? We've got some sunshine here so hopefully you've got it too so you can wear your new top.

Qwerty - I hope you escaped the dreaded heartburn after your yummy lunch. I hope GD1 likes the book. Enjoy having the twins this afternoon.

Mimi - Dust off your racket and get practising!

Gem - one day closer!! xx

Sliding into the day easily here! Nothing planned a.m., although I could clean the inside of the windows or even do some sewing. Iโ€™m itching to have a go at freehand embroidery on my machine. No competition ๐Ÿ˜.
Cards with the ladies this afternoon.
                    Have a good day folks.

                        Afternoon ladies.
Iโ€™ve been to town this morning to pick up my cardigan I ordered on line from M and S .
Then it was off to Boots to spend my gift card I had at Christmas. I brought a No 7 lipstick, lip crayon, eye shadow, hot cloth face cleanser, touch of silver shampoo and make up remover.
Then it was off to Wilko to buy some gardening gloves but I also got 3 gypsophylla bare root plants and a pot containing basil seeds with compost.
The very thing I went to town for, a birthday card for GD was instantly forgotten! Will try again next week.

Oma, you are correct, it is colder out than it looks

Qwerty hope the twins donโ€™t wear you out too much.

Have a a good day ladies
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi, I frequently come back without the one thing I actually went for! I may go to Boots this afternoon after the Tesco delivery. I still haven't bought the perfume that my mum gave me the money for for Christmas!!

I hope the twins are well and good Qwerty

Cards afternoon sounds good Grauntie. My auntie did that every week until her playing partners passed away

The craft group I have been with this morning is a group of WI members, we made cards using napkins today but they have done quilling.

                            Enjoy your cards Grauntie

Didnโ€™t get time for embroidery, but when I do I will show and tell. ๐Ÿ˜ Cards was fun as always. We will go on until there is no-one left, perish the thought. I hope we all end up in the same nursing home. ๐Ÿ˜†

We all seem to have had a busy day! I went to the hairdressers and then did a bit of shopping. I got some new bone china mugs for the kitchen as our old ones are depleted in number and the glaze has gone dull from being assaulted by the dishwasher. They're just plain white - very boring but what I like. I had a mooch round the stationers which sells art supplies and treated myself to some black acrylic paint, a small palette knife and an A5 sketch book. It's still a case of 'all the gear and no idea' though!

Yesterday I had made a mental note to go into Superdrug for an item. I didn't write it down because of course I'd remember! Ha ha! So I wondered round Superdrug hoping that would jog my memory - and came out with about half a dozen items. I still don't know if one of them is what I wanted in the first place.
