Good morning all Its cold and drizzly here and overcast with no chance of ay sunshine.

Cover all the very best with your appointment today.

Enfys good to hear that P is having a better day, hope he gets the rash sorted out soon. The transcribing for a family history project sounds interesting.

Have a good day ladies, hopefully I will pop back here later as its seems to be one of those days where 10 minute jobs are taking ages to get done !

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

      Good morning everyone.

We're back from the hospital and OH's treatment went as well as it ever does. His eye is quite painful once the local has worn off, but by tomorrow it should be feeling a bit better.

Enfys - I hope P can get something for the rash on Thursday. I've done a bit of transcribing (I think it was for a local archive, though) and it's very interesting. There was lots of debate about deciphering some of the names and occupations, but you do feel you're making a contribution.

Clover - I do hope all has gone well today. xx

It was a bit foggy here, especially going into Southampton over the water, but it's cleared now - just dull , damp and chilly.

Daisy pleased that OH has got another injection out of the way. Eyes are such sensitive things & I applaud his perseverence. Enfys hope OH gets his rash sorted later in the week. Welcome back Avo. I bet you'll feel the nip in the air.

Clover I'm thinking about you today & hope you let us know how you got on at the hospital.

Just back from Metro Centre ,
Took a Shrug/Bolero back to Debenhams I bought online , it looked lovely till it arrived and it was cheap tat with a over priced price tag .
I bought two new Bras instead , they have so many to choose from so I settled on 1 Black and 1 Flesh colour , not adventurous but they nice .

B wanted new T-shirts and I wanted some cotton blouses but at the minute its still all the winter stock and nothing bright or pretty so I will wait a few weeks ,
I was given a £150 gift card for Christmas so that should come in handy when the spring stuff comes in .

Clover are you back from Hospital yet ?
Daisy I think your J is a brave man it cant be pleasant having to face that every few weeks .
Gem what kind of Restaurant are you going too ? I could do with a meal out
Enfys im sure the rash will be sorted , is it itchy ? B used to get it on his legs and neck always looked angry and red .

Oma do you remember the restaurant which is near that Premier Inn we all stayed at just outside York? It's that restaurant
That's another treatment over with for your OH Daisy.

As often happens on nothing planned day, I was given a job! My mum phoned saying her tv had gone off. As TV and audio books (listened to on the DVD player via the TV) are her sole amusements apart from the radio in bed at night, and this week is snooker on ITV4 - terrible news!
Usually when this happens she has pressed the AV button and someone just goes and presses it again. However this time I tried everything, and nothing worked. Remote control lights up so it's not that. No light at all on the TV so I assume this is the problem. You may remember we tried to get her a new one, but she asked us to send it back.
OH is on the golf course and uncontactable, even when she comes off,as she left her phone at home, so I can't even ask her to call at Mum's on the way back. I have texted her friend , who may have her phone on her. I have no idea when they will finish as the start was delayed due to thick fog earlier. .
Anyway I was at mums for ages. I managed to sort out the small bedroom TV, which she hasn't used for years and got it on loudest volume and the snooker channel. I'm hoping OH can do better than me with the main TV.

                Nothing much to report here.
                Sorted a cupboard out upstairs.
Sorted through my make up,got rid of quite a bit.
Next job, cleaned the crockery cupboard and got rid of a few things i haven't used for years.

Been lovely and sunny, but just started raining.

Sorry I am a bit late checking in, not feeling great yet, tummy still hurting. Had an early start, had to let a carpenter through to DD and Sil's bedroom, they have had the room decorated and a new carpet so they had to get a bit cut off the door. DD had threatened Sil not to touch it, he is hopeless at DIY and he cut the front door in their first house and you could see daylight.

Daisy, I hope your OH's eye will feel better tomorrow, how many injections does he have to have?

Gemini, shame about your mother's TV, I hope she can watch the snooker. I suppose she might have to have a new TV after all.

Hope your appt. went well Clover.

It is a good idea to sort out cosmetics Nanto to make room for some new purchases.

Gem - oh dear, you thought you had a day to yourself. Still I'm glad her tv is working again. Perhaps she'll change her mind about getting a new one now.

Oma - isn't it disappointing when something looks so nice online or in a catalogue and when it arrives it's rubbish! Still you were able to change it for something you wanted. I've been wondering how Clover got on, as well.

Nanto - well done. It's a nice feeling when you get these jobs done, isn't it!

I've had a lazy afternoon - most unusual for a Tuesday. I was going over to look after Cooper and then the girls after school, but GD2 and DS2 are both home with a tummy bug of some kind. GD2 wasn't very well when she came home from school and was sick on and off all night, and it looks as though she's kindly shared it with her dad! From my point of view it was lovely having a rest after being up since before 6 am. I wonder what excitement awaits us at dog training tonight!
