Good morning all. I’m getting used to these early mornings now, DH sorted with his breakfast and pills...it’s like a pharmacy here! Out with DD soon for a supermarket shop, just bits and pieces for Christmas then I think we’re going out for lunch. Still dark and and cold but the heatings on so well soon be nice and toasty.

Not a bad day yesterday, and DH went to his camera club Christmas party which he really enjoyed. He’s the quiz master so he really wanted to be there. Came home with some,chocs for me, so a win win all round 🙂

Nanna I'm sorry you didn't find the shop. I couldn't really picture where you meant, but it's not the sort of shop I would have been into!

Another full day on the Gemini calendar. This morning I am meeting M, one of my oldest friends for coffee cake and Christmas card exchange. I shall then hotfoot it back home, quick lunch then to Tesco and Wilko with mum and auntie's shopping lists. Then over to my mums to deliver her shopping, prescription and library audio books. I am taking her to see her friend this afternoon. I will then go to see my auntie, with her shopping. Then back to collect mum and have a little chat with mum's friend. Then mum is coming back to our house for tea.
I will make a shepherd's pie for tea before I go out this morning as I don't see when I will fit it in otherwise.

Went to Morrison's this morning and to B&M , Then posted a few cards in my Brothers letter box as he was out ,
Tired today but we out with B's nurses for tea at 6 and I need to do some ironing before we go out or I might leave it till tomorrow when we have Dog and I cant get out ,
I have a bit of a headache so I may have a nana nap instead

We were in Morrisons and I was going to but some Nature Valley Almond cream biscuits but they have gone up yo £2.80 for a box of 6 and although they nice they not that nice , went to B&M same ones 2 boxes for £1 , checked the dates and they don't expire till march next year so bought them there instead , that's a massive difference in price isn't it .

I've been online all morning trying to finish off my Christmas shopping. Just a couple of small presents to get now and am still waiting for GDs' parents to suggest main presents for the girls! When I mentioned it to DS2 the other day he said, don't worry, Mum, there's plenty of time. You can see whose son is he, can't you!!!

The decorators are on the final straight now - painting woodwork. We had the windows wide open because of the paint smell and somebody nearby has lit the smokiest bonfire you've ever seen! So with a choice of smoke or paint, what do you do!

Took little one to toddler group Christmas Party this morning..... the big man with the beard was there to give all the little people a present. Popped to Laura Ashley this afternoon to pick up a skirt I’d ordered. Successful day!

Evening all , as you will have read on another thread we all had a good time yesterday in the Vale of York but didn’t sleep too well cough cough cough, got some cough medicine today someone recommended Bronchostop, luckily I went into Savers before Boots and Morrison’s and sure enough it was £1.50 cheaper, hope it works miracles I have my 2nd nativity play the twins this time, that’s tomorrow I managed to hold it together for eldest g/d nativity without coughing a gold watch up lockets and water were my saviour on Tuesday , thanks for your get well wishes.We also have them for a sleepover Saturday so Mummy and daddy can get ready for Xmas
My Dd texted me today said just thought I would tell you I-Love you isn’t that making my day 👩*❤️*👩
Enfys so glad P enjoyed his Xmas party it will have done him the world of good, and I hope you had a nice lunch and chat with your Dd today ,sounds like the chemo has settled down a bit

I'm on a mission to finish writing Christmas cards tonight.

We're going out early tomorrow to do a supermarket shop - anything and everything that will keep. I think I'd better do a list, and it's going to be a long one.

Qwerty - you posted while I was typing. Fingers crossed for the Bronchostop. It's awful when you're dying to cough and holding it back. What a lovely DD you have. I'm sure the twins will be very excited tomorrow.
