A bit dull and dreary here this morning after a lovely few days. Out for lunch today and hopefully a walk somewhere nice too. We’ve had no hospital appointments this week for a change, so am making the most of our “freedom” 😀. Hope you all have a good day

Nanto horrible when you don't get enough sleep try have a Nana nap even if its 10 minutes dozing in the chair ,

Well I actually slept well last night from 11pm till 7am I know lazy or what hahaha
Ive Ironed done the dusting and hoovering and had a shower , now im having 10 minutes before I wash my Sofa and chairs down , GS1 spilt Coke down the arm last night cleaned it off but noticed a few grubby marks so its getting a good clean today ,
Out for tea with the Nurses later .

Guess what ( drum roll please ) B actually threw some old t-shirts , socks, and his faithful old Slippers out this morning
I know shocking or what hahaha

Morning all grey and dreary here and I’ve s bit of a headache nothing I can’t cope with though lol
Food shop today, as out with Dd tomorrow you may remember I was going with her for s bit of mum and Dd time bit the day before her kitchen ceiling fell in due to a leak, so we are chancing it again and at the weekend we have the twins for a sleepover mum and dad are going out for a curry a belated anniversary celebration , so today is the only time I can go for food.
Nanto sorry you’ve had a bad night hope you’ve got the matchsticks handy, nana nap comes to mind I’ve felt like having one the last 3 dys about 4 pm , can’t keep my eyes open
I am thinking of going swimming on a regular basis feel I need to get more supple

Morning all. Its sunny here at last, it was very dull and misty when I got up at sparrows cough this morning.
It's been another hectic few days again. Tuesday I had my flu vac and then did some shopping . Yesterday the gas man arrived to service the boiler and while he was here he put a new clock on the timer because I said I could hear it ticking , its supposed to be silent. He then said my cooker oven door wasn't hanging properly so he fixed that and then he installed a carbon monoxide detector in the kitchen.!
In the afternoon I planted some more containers with primroses and today I put the last few left out in the front garden boarder .
Tomorrow the fence in the back garden is being repaired just in time for all this nasty weather we are supposed to be having from Saturday .

Can I ask ladies do you find your bra's uncomfortable to wear ? I have just ordered some bra extenders to see if it helps . I can't wait till the end of the day when I can take the flipping thig off

Oma you must pass on how you managed to get B to throw out some old clothes OH clings to his worn out scruffy clothes as if they were dear friends,

Daisy I accidently found myself in Boots on Tuesday I somehow I managed to spend a small fortune on face cream and a new all singing, all dancing sort of face mask that promises to knock years off my face, I will know if it has worked if I am frogmarched off here as an imposter as being far too young to be a nan !

Mimi believe me I'm in total shock he got rid of anything especially the slippers , I had to sit down and take deep breaths . I should have taken photos so I can look back on this momentous occasion 😂

I take my Bra off at night and have a damn good scratch it's like taking a corset off , no matter how much I pay for one by the end of the day I can't wait to take it off . Would leave it off when in the house but they would need tucking in my trouser waist band 😂😂😂

What a releif when you take your bra off, but it doesn't bother me when i'm wearing it.

Oma, hubby has been going to sort through his clothes for about a year now,still waiting.

I don't feek too bad,considering i didn't get much sleep.

Car booked in for the MOT at 4.15. I go as well,then we have a lovely stroll around the nearby village.

Update on Libras update

Just woken up from a little doze after being out all day. I can tell DH is feeling better as he wants to go out and about all the time, wears me out 😀. Was very lucky today, I’d popped into a shop and tried a jumper on, didn’t buy it but when we were having our pub lunch I noticed one of my earrings was missing, Luckily we were still in the same town so after lunch I rushed back t9 the shop and there it was on the floor in the changing room.

Re bras, Mimi, I have just bought some bra extenders in M & S, and they work a treat. I no longer whip my bra off as soon as I can so a really good buy. All my bras are from M & S so they are the right size, the best fiver I have spent in ages 👍🏼

I forgot, but when we were out we popped into Iceland to buy som of their big packs of fish for fish pies. I was rooting around in the big freezer, chatting to the lady next to me as you do, when we noticed that the pack she of fish were very soft. In fact they were all defrosted. Obviously I didn’t buy any and I found someone and told him. I left the shop but DH carried in talking to him. He came out and said this chap was going to talk to someone about it, I really hope they locked the freezer of did something so no one could buy any. Some of the packs felt a bit more solid than others but I’d still not fancy buying any. Put me off Iceland a bit, as DH said how often might this happen.

Pleased to say the car passed it's MOT.
While waiting for the car,we strolled to the village park.
Couldn't believe how warm it was.

Enfys there was something on TV a few weeks ago about Iceland and stuff defrosting , I think it was that show with Angela Rippon on , apparently it happens a lot in there they don't check temp on freezers regular and leave stuff in boxes half defrosted before they are put in warehouse freezers

Daisy yes I have started packing, and no we have decided to take a case each. We will see mum on Sunday when we go to DD2's for GD's family birthday tea. Her birthday is Monday, and her party for friends on Saturday.

Nan2, great news about the MOT. It was very warm here today too.
Qwerty I have had a headache for a couple of days now. Perhaps it is a Yorkshire headache??!!

Mum had a nice time with her friend and I did her shopping while she was there as I didn't have time before.
I am very tired and another early start tomorrow for the hairdresser, so I am off to bed. I may go via the Granny's Rest for night cap though

Dinner is in slow cooker.No fish and chips last week or this week.
Closed for holiday.We could go somewhere else,but decided to have a break from them.
