Gem, good to hear Auntie was on good form. I bet she loves your visits.

I was wondering about Qwerty, too, Gem.

Also hoping Mr Enfys isn't getting any side effects from his meds.

GC were super. Mummy collected them just before lunch. One breakage. The protective cover on my mobile fone. Little J wanted to show a picture to GD & dropped it. No worries. Accidents happen.Had lunch, slept till 5pm. I love my family but it's lovely to be just us two again. I'll just rest now.

Grauntie you made me laugh with the legs. Sounds fun. Hope everyone's ok. Get well soon everyone poorly.

Nana - it sounds as though you and your GC have had a great time. I know what you mean though - that peaceful silence when visitors have gone is amazing, no matter how much you love them all. Sleep well tonight. xx

Thanks Daisy. It has been a good Christmas this year. My bank account has taken a bit of a bashing tho. Worth it but must cut down next yr. 😉

Good morning, Nanto, and all who come later on this last day of 2018. Love the graphic - if that clock's right, I've got a lot to do in five minutes!!

We will be partying at midnight, then I think I shall sleep for a week!

So not much else planned for today, just getting ready to welcome 2019. At least the weather is ok - dull but mild and dry.

Good morning one and all, the last of 2018!

                    Great graphic for today Nan2.
Good to see you posting Oma. Keep taking it easy though.
I'm glad the sleepover went well Nana.
I hope all under the weather people are on the mend, and the rest of us stay well!

New year's Eve, so we are hosting our annual bash. Friends generally arrive around 7, leave around 2am, and the time always flies!

We have never been a family to party on New Years Eve. I feel exhausted reading about your parties Gemini and Daisy.

                        Good Moaning Each.
Nanto and Oma, I hope you have an easy day. Lack of sleep is a horrid feeling at the best of times, let alone with a nasty bug as well. How about a glass of ginger wine with lots of ice before you go to bed? Very medicinal. 😉
We are having a final rehearsal for the sawing the lady in half. OH has decided if I think he is sawing too near I must say “oooh oooh ooooh” and “aaaah aaahh aaah” if I think he should saw a bit nearer. I hope I get it the right way round.😬 He is insisting on using a real saw and we have made the box out of cardboard. He spent a lot of yesterday watching Tommy Cooper. May the good Lord help me! Our other trick is the disappearing lady. I have made a structure from the Wendy house bits.(I knew they would come in handy) and the covering is dust sheets. This should be easy with no danger to me! If you are celebrating make sure you have a good time.
Wishing you all a happy, healthy and peaceful New Year.

Good morning, dull here but not cold. No plans for tonight, we haven’t celebrated NYE for years, I find it rather depressing to be honest, another year gone .....just want an early night.

i always find January and February quite difficult so am looking forward to Spring, don’t want to wish the time away but I hate the grey days. DH is feeling very tired and “woozy” today so the chemo must be kicking in. Hopefully it won’t be too bad for him this time, very frustrating for him, he hates being inactive. We are counting the days until our GD gets back home, just over a week to go 😀. She will feel the cold.

Hope everyone has a good day, and if you’re partying tonight, have a lovely time......from Mrs Grinch 😘

                              Good morning all.

Good to see you back Oma.

We don't have anything planned for New Year, not feeling up to celebrating to be honest. Christmas was, in fact, a huge strain what with 'waring' DC, all the forced smiling and cheeriness has got to me. At one stage I think I was close to turning into Jean from Eastenders, I just need to take myself into a corner for a while.

Have a lovely New Year celebrations everyone
Bring me sunshine in your smile.
