Daisy, my GS had to miss school yesterday as DD knew he wasn't well. He cried bitterly because he won't get 100% attendance as he did last year! He is at school today, so I hope he is well enough. I think we will have a quiet time once I pick him up. I am taking him a healing Cadbury's mini roll
I hope your GD survives the school day!

So very tired. I wish that I had just a fraction of your energy. Pleased OH had his line out Enfys. Sorry I can't reply to everyone. I'm keeping up with everyone's news tho.

Nana, I hope reading our chat is relaxing. Join in when you feel like it. Some days it’s impossible to keep up with everyone. 😜

Oma, I hope the other granddad is ok. It’s worth trying out your orange theory, although I hope it’s not all of them like satsumas etc.

Gem, poor GS1. I do hope he’s feeling better today, but it would be worse if he got to the last week of the school year and then had to have a day off. GD2 came out of school pale and not her usual chatty self and I thought she must be feeling worse, but then while we were waiting for GD1 to come out she was running round playing with another little girl from her class and an old playgroup friend.

            Nanto, you’ve ha£ a productive day!

Will be interesting to see if it was the oranges Oma.
Nana, hope you feel better soon.

GS seemed on good form, but was looking tired when I left, so not 100% yet. He loved his rock which I painted for him. I told him he could put it in the garden if he liked but he insisted it had pride of place on the fireplace 😊

Good morning ladies, just had a cup of coffee.
Table set for breakfast, and put the bins out.

Doing a roast dinner today. My favourite dinner. Not hubby's favourite, but he will eat it.
Cooking a lamb fillet in the slow cooker. Will put it in on low soon.

Oh Nan2, set an extra place, I'll be round for some of that roast!!

Another early start. I am going to GS1's school harvest festival at the Abbey where they live.
My reflexologist is coming at 1 to give me a treatment . Her baby is due at the end of the month so this will be my last for a while.
The rest of the day will be Canada linked. Packing and preparing the house for the house and cat sitter. We are also feeding the neighbours cat again for a couple of days, so we mustn't forget about her!

                    Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, Nanto and everyone. You're very good cooking a roast dinner mid-week. I think I must be too lazy/disorganised, and like your OH, it's not my favourite! But lamb done in the slow cooker sounds tasty.

Gem - you are having a busy week. Enjoy GS1's harvest festival. How lovely - you will be jetting off to Canada all nice and relaxed after your treatment today. Don't overdo the housework, though!

Oma - I hope B gets on ok at his hearing test.

I've got the hairdressers at 12 - much needed, my fringe nearly reaches my cheeks! My hairdresser will be going on maternity leave soon, so I'll have to find a new one for a while. I hate changing hairdressers! It's OH's birthday next week, so I need to do a bit of shopping. I've ordered a book he wants, and I know he needs some aftershave. Other than that, I've no idea what to get him - his favourite chocolates,I suppose! Not very exciting though.

I don't think I'll be doing much else today, but I'll be busy for the rest of the week. The family are coming for lunch for OH's birthday on Saturday - roast dinner for 10, plus I need to prepare food for Eva (mustn't get them mixed up!) and tidy the freezers ready for dog food delivery on Saturday as well.

                        Have a good day, everyone.

                          Morning.

Hope everyone’s plans for the day work out well.

Daisy I had to change hairdressers when my usual lady retired. Though my new one is very nice I feel she doesn’t do my hair the same as my old one but I can’t quite put my finger on the difference. Sounds daft but I know what I mean
Considering roast dinners aren’t your favourite it’s very noble of you to prepare one for ten people.

Dull here today but we’re off to browse some out of town shops and lunch in style in Morrisons

Clover - yes, I know exactly what you mean. Have you thought about trying someone else? Last time my hairdresser was on maternity leave she owned her own salon and one of her staff did it almost the same so I was quite happy. But now she only works part-time and she rents a chair in another salon, so I don't have the same connection to any of the other stylists. I'll ask her to recommend someone and hope for the best.

I do a roast mainly because it's the easiest way to cater for my family's various dietary needs and preferences. It always seems to take me ages and the kitchen looks like a war zone afterwards! And I always forget something!

Clover, hope you get sorted with another hairdresser.

Oma, hope B's appointment goes well.

I do a lot of meals that i know hubby really likes.
It's my turn today, to have my favourite.

I don't think I could cook a roast dinner for 10 now, used to love cooking for the family.

Gemni, not sure which day you are off to Canada, I expect you are busy getting the house ready for the cat sitters. Hope GS1 is feeling better, bugs soon get passed around when they go back to school.

GGs's day next door with DD, I expect I will see him at some time. Need to go to the parade to get my sister's birthday card posted and need a few bits and pieces.

I hope Brian passes his hearing test Oma, or does he already wear aids.
