Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.
Very nippy here this morning, the heating is on!
I had to go out early as is it OH's best friends birthday. She is my friend too, a very good one, but OH's best and she has known her far longer than I have. When I texted OH this morning to check she had delivered her a card over the weekend while I was away, the answer was no, she didn't know it was her birthday !! I found a card, wrote it and drove round and put it through the door. Its a good job one of us is on the ball
GS1 day today, then we will collect GD from school.
I am eating out with 2 friends tonight. OH will get back from her golf trip after I leave for town, so I will see her later this evening. Ships which pass in the night comes to mind!
Have a good Monday everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Hello from me (too late for a 'good morning'!
Thinking about Enfys and Clover and hoping everything goes well for both appointments.
Oma - if I'd have known you could have borrowed Cooper if you're missing Storm!!
I'll try and catch up with other posts tonight, but Manic Monday sand Tired-out Tuesdays don't leave much time or brain space.
It's nice and sunny here, but chilly too. I'm glad it's dry though as I have two school pick ups today - GD2 at 3.15 and GD1 after her after school activity at 4.30. I need the exercise after eating so much at the week-end!
Wee Granny - I hope you are feeling better now.
Gem - well done for remembering the friend's birthday on time.
Nanto - I made a cottage pie for dinner last night and the best bit is there's enough for tonight as well!
Qwerty - you'll meet yourself coming back! Still it's good to get out and enjoy some time with friends.

Hope the poorly ones are feeling better and thinking of Enfys and Clovers OH's hospital visits.
Oma, that was an amazing sleep for you.
Warfarin check went well, everything normal again. Played a shocking game of bowls this afternoon and feel very tired.
Good job you remembered your friend's birthday. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Its been very chilly here so we have put the heating on, feeling toasty now.

Yes thank you for your good wishes ladies. All went smoothly at scan. There are a few changes but don’t know if they are significant. If they are the Consultant will be in touch so fingers crossed I don’t hear anything until my next scheduled appointment.
Plant I’m glad your Warfarin test was fine.
Everyone seems to be busy, busy so I hope you all get a chance to relax at some time
Daisy and Nanto it must be cottage pie season,I made one yesterday as well and like Daisy, enough for two days.

Clover - I'm glad everything went smoothly at your scan. How was the journey? I do hope you don't hear anything - definitely a case of no news is good news. I think it's quite likely that small changes are to be expected, and as long as they are within certain limits that's ok. That's what I was told about one of these 'watch and wait' conditions.
Enfys - off to read your post on P.
Plant - so glad your warfarin check was ok, too, especially after the week-end. I think you did well to even play bowls today - I've been tired all day!
It's been chilly here too, but then I put a warm fleece on to go and pick the girls up, and it had gone very warm, and I was far too hot! Sometimes you just can't win.
