Gem - your poor mum. I hope it doesn't play on her mind. White blood cells seem to come and go. One of my SILs has a very low count, but they just seem to keep a check on it, although she did have to have a boost of them before a routine operation a couple of years ago. She's about 30 years younger than your mum! I hate very early appointments! What time will you have to get up?

It was the only time I could get that I could do, before we go away Daisy. The advantage is I will be on the road before the school and work traffic build up. I will get up around 7ish, plenty of time for a quick shower and breakfast before I go.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Popping by to say hello. Will join in later this week. I had no sleep last night so I'm at the end of my energy store. I booked OH a lesson in air rifle (at a rifle range) shooting as part of his birthday gift. He needed a new driver golf club so I got that too. He was thrilled. I slept while he went to the shooting range. I'll not be late going to bed.😩"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Oh, Nana, poor you! You really do need to take it easy and recharge your batteries. I'm glad your OH enjoyed his rifle shooting lesson, and I'm sure his new driver will help with his gold handicap.
I'll having an early night tonight - for once I didn't sleep very well and I'm tired, so I can't imagain how you feel having regular sleepless nights as well as everything else. Sleep well. xx

Oops, good morning all.
I do hope you all managed to sleep better last night. It’s horrible if you can’t sleep, always affects me all day. Luckily I had a good night, didn’t wake up until 7.45.
One very happy DH here this morning, had a call last night and he can go in today and have his Pic line removed! I’ve never seen him so happy.
Hope your BP review goes well Gem. Shopping this morning then out for coffee and a natter with friend this afternoon. It feels quite cold here this morning although the last few afternoons have been lovely.

Good moaning each.
Gem, getting up that early and having to be somewhere would have my bp rising rapidly!
Sleepless ones, I’m so sorry for you. My vibes don’t seem to work now. I can think of only one other thing which sounds completely mad. Rub a little Vick on the ball of each foot when you go to bed. I was told this when I had continuous chest infections last year. It works for me.
Enfys, that sounds like a good day to me. I think you should celebrate the removal with lunch out.
I must go into town today amongst the great unwashed to purchase holiday meds etc. No pleasure in that. So many rough sleepers now, and a growing posse of drinkers who meet up in the car park.
Who mentioned toad in the hole? Splendid idea. That’s dinner sorted.
Have a super duper day ladies.Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

Enfys, I'm glad OH is happy about that, great news!
It rained here too Nan2, but its slightly sunny now.
I have heard that Vicks tip too Grauntie!
Oh I wondered what caused that Oma? I hope the antihistamines work, it's no fun.
BP was OK, considering the early start!
OH left for golf as I got back. A few things to do around here before going for GS1 from school, and a little shopping on the way.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

That was good news for your OH Enfys, bet he can't wait.
Gemini, pleased to hear BP was OK, I hate having my BP taken, I am sure it shoots up when they reach for the BP machine.
Will that be something you have eaten Oma?
Grauntie, sounds like a depressing trip to town for you. Sounds worse than Birmingham. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning ladies. It’s quite mild here and the sun is peeping out a bit.
Enfys, really good news for your DH. Enjoy your day.
Oma, I hope the antihistamines do their jog quickly. Fans and flu jabs - sounds fun. 😉
Gem, glad your BP was ok. It sound like a nice day for OH’s golf.
Grauntie, I hope you survive your trip into the great metropolis.
I think I started the Toad thoughts, prompted by Qwerty’s Yorkshire puds. But today I’d really fancy one of Nantos’s homemade pies. Yum yum
Thank you, yes I slept like a log last night, but still didn’t feel like getting up when the alarm went off at 6.15!
It’s my usual Tuesday. I’m baby sitting Cooper (he’s asleep on my feet at the moment) and will go and pick up the girls later. GD2 has a cough and cold, but didn’t want to miss school, she’ll be upset if she has to come home. ☹️
