Thank you to all those who missed me and have welcomed me back! I missed you all too, and found myself saying to OH "I wonder how so-and-so is" etc.
I've now caught up with reading all the Chat, but commenting on everything is beyond me tonight - I really need an early night and tomorrow is an early start as GD2 doesn't start her first half-day at school until lunch-time. I would be more than happy to take her, but I'm sure her mummy will want to do that, so I'll probably take her (and Cooper) to the shop, hand her over to mummy, hide in a corner and have a little weep as my last baby dashes into her new world with unbounded enthusiasm. I'll take Cooper back to theirs and go back at 3 pm to pick GD2 up and GD1 a bit later, before taking them (and Cooper) back to their house. I don't think I'll get the chance to actually meet them out of school just yet.
I'm already starting to dread the dark evenings though!"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Good to see you back Daisy. I hope you enjoyed your break. I don't know how my DD2 is feeling but I'm a bit on edge thinking about GS2 starting his 1st day at school tomoro. (Gulp). He was excited to tell me he will have a playground & chatted about what he remembered about his classroom on his introductory day.
Gem, I wonder what troubled your Mum? Hope you're all still friends. Oma how about putting the recipe in the cooking section when you have the time please? I can't imagine any of my GSs getting to the age of needing a shave.😱"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Good morning Nanto and everyone.
Nanto Glad you had an okay night. Could have been better I suspect?
Daisy and Nana,an emotional day for you with little ones starting school today. Luckily they are introduced gently these days so hopefully slip into it easily.
I am am working today instead of tomorrow as tomorrow OH has a hospital appointment. This probably means I’ll be out of kilter all day thinking it’s Tuesday.
I’m planning to cut the grass this afternoon before tomorrow’s forecast rain.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all.
I'm glad you had a better sleep Nan2.
I hope all goes smoothly for your GD, Daisy. I can imagine how you feel about the youngest going off to school. I will feel emotional when our youngest does. Me too with dreading the dark night drives home on Tuesdays to come.
I hope all goes well for your GS today Nana.
I hope its good news at the urologist Oma, and nothing to worry about x

Gemini, sorry to hear your mother was a bit difficult. Busy Monday for you.
Good luck to all the GC back to school especially the first timers. A few weeping mothers I expect.
Oma, hope B gets the okay from the hospital. where has your baby Josh gone.
Day 2 kitten fed and he has gone out but not after he tried to get in the shower with me and hung onto the towel. Bowls this afternoon, then I am taking GD2's boy friend to the station and this evening is embroidery group meeting. I am expecting a plumber any minute to replace an outside tap. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Daisy welcome back to the bosom of your extended family it all kicks off for you with the grandkids , I’ve had my little weep so not feeling too bad now and it’s my first pick up tomorrow that will seem so strange I never picked up the eldest she lives a bit too far away and Dd had it all organised as she kept the childminder going for an extra year and she picked her up and kept her till she came home 6 ish and next week their other grandma is picking them up but it feels harder as I am losing two children at the same time
Ooh Gem trouble at the mill, I’m not trying to compete with you but I do know how upsetting it can be I had it for many years with my mother and she was only in her 60s
Clover hope hubbys appointment goes ok too
Have a nice day y’all

Oma hops B's appointment goes well
Gem sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your mum. Its hard when its family isn't it
Nana big day in your house , hope his first day goes well .
Clover how is OH , did appointment go well .
Busy week for me . tomorrow its a check up with Dr and I want to have a word with him about my appointment with the physio. I have received a letter telling me to make an appointment but unsurprising the back trouble I have been experiencing has lessened . I just get pain in the leg and hip now and I am wondering if I really need to see him. Also I want to tell Dr I want to come off my tablets as they are giving me terrible heartburn ( The profits for the company that makes Gaviscon must have gone through the roof this past few weeks ). Also I have a horrible taste in my mouth but on the plus side I have slept better !!
On Thursday evening we are having 7 year old GS stay with us until Saturday as his school has inset day on Friday . DD and SIL have used up all their allotted work holidays and days like this are hard to get cover for .
Saturday evening DS is coming to stay until Sunday evening so the sofa bed in the spare room is going to be busy over the last few days of the week.
Have a good day ladiesBring me sunshine in your smile.

Qwerty I am taking Mirtazapine and I have been on Omaperaolze for longer than I care to remember. Dad initially used to have Gaviscon on prescription but it was always in aniseed flavour which used to make him feel nauseous and it has the same effect on me , even the smell of it makes me very unwell. At the time we were told that I could only have it in that flavour on prescription. Has that changed I wonderBring me sunshine in your smile.
