Food shopping for me today, family are going to Corfu on Sunday, leaving me and GD2' boyfriend, he is starting a job in London on Monday, having just graduated so he is staying here until he can get into his flat. I have offered to feed him, not used to feeding a 6ft.4 young man, bit of bulk I think, perhaps I might make him a pudding (don't eat those) He is from Yorkshire Gemini, what do you suggest, definitely not Yorkshire pudding, couldn't match his GM's. Also I am to be given a long list of instructions how to look after the kitten, I can see some fun on the way!

Arms feeling better Oma, perhaps aqua helped. Hope B is feeling okay.

We had a good night out with our friends, a nice Italian meal, then a drink afterwards. 4 of us are lucky to be here in one piece today,as the taxi driver bringing us home drove on the wrong side of the road at one point, having to swerve to miss an oncoming car He was new to the area (and possibly the country) and for some reason he thought it was a dual,carriageway - in the centre of town! I always prefer it if one of us drives, and we do often, but sometimes everyone wants to have glass of wine so we share a taxi . Anyway, we survived!!

Nothing much on today. I need a new number plate, and we need a few things from the supermarket. I will give OH some long overdue reflexology later.
This morning will be a lazy one, catching up with last night's soaps

Nana Barra Brith is a cross between Malt loaf and fruit loaf its lovely ( Welsh ) , I think it was Clover gave me the recipe a while ago and I make a couple at a time and freeze one , its lovely with a bit butter on and a cup of tea

B going to Vets with DD this morning , SIL's van is in for repairs so he has to use DD car to take GS1 to training ,
Storm has a itchy spot on inside of his leg and has scratched and nibbled at it till its red raw , keeps licking the cream off so back to the vet maybe needs something else like tablets he cant get at .

I have washing in I will iron it later along with fresh bedding I will change beds tomorrow, will hang fresh ironed bedding over Bannister till then , at least it will be ready

Good morning all. I've just been for a lovely walk even though it was raining. There was hardly anyone around but there was something quite nice about having my raincoat on and umbrella up with just the sound of rain pattering on my brolly. It was far easier to walk in this sort of weather than the extreme heat we had a month ago .

Oma hope the vet can sort Storm's itchy patch out . Our cat had a patch under her chin and she would scratch it till she made it bleed. It was eczema .It seems to have cleared up now....touch wood

Don't have a lot planned for today but looking forward to Strictly starting tonight.

Turns out it could be a insect or tic bite , put him on Antibiotics and gave him a cream that sinks in instantly so even if he licks at it most will have already been absorbed

Very overcast, not long been up, was awake in the night so slept late. Just the dusting to do today after the cushion fighting, thought I would let the dust settle. Nothing else planned for today.

Hope the cat lets his sore spot heal.

Good afternoon.......a bit dull here but dry so I have a line of washing out. A good morning so far, we both slept well and that makes such a difference. After loading washing machine I popped round to a friend’s with her birthday card, came home and made a lasagne which is now in the oven. A quick tidy up then a restful afternoon, This seems to be working for us and I can stop DH overdoing it. He looks much better these last couple of days but it’s hard stopping him from doing too much so I find him little jobs that aren’t too taxing, Yesterday he out some hooks up inside a big cupboard in the kitchen so I can hang my shopping bags and pinny 🙂
