Afternoon on what I think is a bit chilly hung some washing out about an hour ago and now it’s raining so they can stay out now 😡 no heating on yet but I am thinking about it
Dd called today she had an appointment somewhere I do love a random visit from her, she’s so funny and brightens our day up
Enfys your not having much luck on the health dept , best to get it sorted though years ago there were no machines like there are now and at least if can be found and helped hopefully
The children went to school today again , full time next week and I have a pick up Tuesday thinking of investing in a decent raincoat as I have a 10 mins walk and I remember the old days of picking my own up and being like a drenched cat when I got home
Eldest went back to school yesterday full time, her new agenda includes swimming now and PE on th same day bad planning to me as she has to get changed twice the same day, not her favourite job
We are having a quiet day too quite boring really saving my energy for shopping tomorrow need new slippers worn flip flop things for ages but my feet are getting cold of an evening now, car is in for MOT so we need to kill some time OH suggested we have a pub lunch mmm decisions decisions 🤔
I can remember my mum buying stretch covers for the suite from Brentford nylons remember them , they were bad enough and my mum broke her finger pushing the covers down the side of the settee before she put the cushions on , Plumbs are where we used to get covers too

Lovely sunny day here but I think I need to go to bed and start again. Went to Aqua, took a wrong turn, thought I had left my purse and phone back home but there it was. Put two pairs of knickers in the bag, came out with the blue overshoes you have to wear in swimming pools, drove home in them and filled up the car at a garage still wearing them. When I got home I found I still had my alarm pendent round my neck and had been in the pool for over an hour so it has died, hoping to dry it out but not too hopeful. DD, Sil, GD2 and her boyfriend have gone to London to attend her degree ceremony, GD1 has just phoned from work saying she is on her way home and would I like to do something. After fighting with the cushion covers and aqua I feel a bit tired but of course I said okay.

Eyes are very precious Enfys, good that the Optician is keep a check on your eyes.

Afternoon ladies ,
Enfys eyes are funny things so any change has to be sorted , I Have mine x rayed every year because im diabetic , ive had a few bleeds but thankfully they have sorted themselves ,

Plant will you have to pay for another neck alarm ? easy done I suppose you forget what your wearing sometimes ,

Qwerty it will be nice to go for lunch together when you feel like it now rather than have the children with you , it is getting a bit nippy on a night now and I think if your feet get cold you are cold all over ,
Hope the car passes its MOT ,

Well had a busy morning I was supposed to go with B for his Kidney scan but I didn't get to bed till 5 and he left me asleep I jumped out of bed at 8.30 he was leaving at 8.45 too late to get sorted so he went himself ,

As I had soaked the fruit for a Barra Brith over night I got on with that once I was sorted , while it was cooking I decided to make Cheese scones for B and Fruit scones for me
Kept some out for today and froze the rest , I also froze half the Barra Brith too .

He came home and we had lunch then we tackled the Freezer , its needed sorting for a while now , the stuff we had forgotten about was shocking lots thrown out ,
I then Vacuum packed all the Chicken breasts and Mince we bought yesterday for the freezer
B had cooked a gammon joint yesterday it was too big for us to use all of it so that was sliced and vacuumed to freeze in a few packs too save wasting it and its always there to do with chips or a sandwich , just defrost a pack when we want it .
Don't seem to have stopped since I got up ,

Felt Autumnal this morning when i went out.
Had sun and showers today.
Hubby went help eldest this morning,then they came here for dinner.
Did a roast dinner with gammon.

Enfys, MIL has macular degeneration. She had hers lasered at the local hospital, on the NHS.
They aren't perfect,but better than they were.

Qwerty I remember Brentford nylons, and also my mum sending me off to college with nylon sheets from there!! I need new slippers too, it's getting a bit chilly for flip flops.

Looking forward to a lazy evening to finish my lazy day. I went to Hyde Hall, our local RHS garden this morning. It was glorious.

MIL has cracked a rib cleaning a cupboard out and twisted round and it snapped , nothing to help with it apart from rest and pain killers ,
B said the girl doing his scan said his right Kidney isn't great but she has seen worse so got to wait till we see Dr see what they want to do , either they will ring for him to go to clinic or wait till next week when he has appointment , we back again on Monday to see urologist , the blooming car goes on its own now 😊

MIL said its agony trouble is at 84 her bones break easy , she's just resting, we were taking her out for Tea tomorrow but she doesn't feel she could go now understandably

I finshed the day by going with GD1 to the cinema to see Christopher Robin.
My Mil had all her bedding from Brentford Nylons, wonder what happened to them?
My covers are all back, arms feeling a bit sore from the fight I had to get them back on

Had another lazy day today. Tomoro I hope to go to YWP (Yorks Wildlife Park) first thing as I hear that's the favourite time for the bears to go out. They rescued four brown bears but the oldest didn't make it. The two brothers are out playing together but the female is shy. I hope we're lucky enough to see them. If not there's always another day.😉

Back to school now, so today is little grandson all day and school run for granddaughter this afternoon. OH is around all day, so I won't have to wake GS from his afternoon nap to go with me to school.
OH and I are out for a meal with friends tonight.

Good morning all. Lovely and sunny here again although we had rain yesterday afternoon.

How is B Oma? Maybe you should have a rest today.

We had a very lazy day yesterday and I think it did us both good. DH pottered about but after I’d done a few jobs in the morning I sat and read and chrocheted all,afternoon, even had a little doze. We have nothing planned today but Imwant to sort my wardrobe out and have a clear out of stuff I haven’t worn for ages.

Hope Daisy is having a good time, weather quite nice for them so far.
