    Good morning all.

Nan2 you will be on US time for a while. How did you sleep while you were on holiday?

Early up for us today as the men are here to replace the roof on the garage and the flat roof over the end of the kitchen where the sink is. Here at 8am, lots of noise, no one is sleeping in
Today I will do my mum's shopping, then she and I are going to see my sister this afternoon.
OH and I are getting together with friends tonight, not sure if we are eating out or having a takeaway.

    Have a good day everyone.

DD and Sil back today, sounds like they had a good holiday, I think GD's will be pleased to see them, I have enjoyed cooking for them and their company. Aqua for me this morning then N.T monthly meeting.

Nanto, hope the jet lag goes soon, look forward to hearing about your holiday.

Daisy, pleased to hear you are having a more restful day, I am sure Eva is pleased to have you home.

Gemini, No rest for you today. Are the rocks still in place?

Nana, now don't go overdoing it.

            Good morning everyone.

Nana, Nanto and Oma - I really feel for you not sleeping night after night. I don't know how you cope.

Nana - I hope your early start went ok and the traffic didn't hold you up. That's always my worry on the days I go over to my GDs. It's only 8 miles, across Forest roads but you can add 10 minutes to your journey if there's something slow in front or there are a lot of animals on the road. At least you're not very likely to have half a dozen donkeys in your way. Finger crossed it all goes well.

Qwerty - I hope you get your flu jab! Our surgery and chemist have run out. Everyone said leave it a bit later this year as the flu season will be late starting, so we did. So we're waiting for a call from the chemists to say they've got fresh stocks in!

Gem - it will be nice to get the roof done, but going out seems a good idea to escape from the noise and dust. Your mum will be ready to River Dance today after her foot treatment. I hope she's ok for seeing your sister this afternoon.

I'm picking a friend up later on and we're going to meet our other friends from College. It's a beautiful day and the views from the golf club where we meet should be fabulous.

Good morning all . Is cloudy and a little colder here this morning

Qwerty OH had his flu jab last week but the flu jab for the under 65 have only just arrived at the surgery . DS will be having his next week . I don't think I will need my toes broken , the Dr was obviously pointing out the worse case scenario , they tend to do that now don't they.

Nan2 and Nana sorry to hear you both had a bad night's sleep . Oma did you sleep well ?

              Daisy enjoy your day out.

I don't have a lot planned for today , I might have a look at online Debenhams sale , well you got to help them out as their profits weren't very good . 50 stores are going to close and I wouldn't mid betting that the store here will close. Its so hard to get to town as the traffic is so bad. The bus service is terrible and car parking is so expensive its no wonder people shop on line.

              Have a good day everyone

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

                Morning ladies ,
Qwerty no I didn't sleep again as usual 😕

We have the same problem getting parked in town so I think our might close too , the one in Metro centre will be safe plenty of free parking there ,

We had our Flu jabs a couple of weeks ago it was like a production line , everyone sitting in a row as the nurse came along jabbing everyone , no side effects a bit sore arm that's it .

Gem early start early finish for them Hopefully xx

Oma, they have now got the old roofing off the garage, but not started to put the smelly stuff on yet. Then the kitchen roof to start on, so we think it will take all day, and another early start tomorrow GC overnight on Friday, so it will be Sunday before we sleep in I think!
Mimi, we have a big Debenhams in an out of town shopping park so I bet the smaller one in town will close down here.
I hope you have a lovely time with your friends Daisy.
I think all my rocks have been moved Plant , hopefully rehidden. I spotted one someone else had left outside the charity shop yesterday.

I have just liked the page Gem so I can follow how all your village rocks are moved around 😊
Are the roofers using Tarmac rolls ? Love the smell of Tarmac 😊

Hi ladies it’s me, what a bizarre appointment, went for an asthma check up even though now my silent reflux is sorted I don’t have asthmas the symptoms are very similar, I was told to to ask the nurse to do my flu jab at same time if they had any as they had run out so couldn’t make me a separate appointment. When I got in there was a locum nurse so didn’t know her ,sat down and she said” your here for your vaccine , “
I said” I didn’t know it was in was going to ask but I’m here really for my asthma check”
she replied “ well I will do your vaccine first where are you going on holiday ?”
“ where are you sending me “
I have you down for holiday vaccine “
“No asthma check and possible flu jab”
Eventually I got it phew we chatted about asthma and she has taking me off the register like I wanted them to do last year , so something good came out of it
Mimi unfortunately I am well over 65 and have a flu jab with an immune med in it suits me you can’t get enough immunity in my opinion 😬
Gem good luck with the repairs , I heard about Debenhams and that WH Smith’s have stopped selling gift cards for Debenhams which says a lot

Bit odd Qwerty , just as well you told her she could have given you a jab for yellow fever or some odd thing like that 😲😆.
I went some years ago because after many years without any symptoms of Asthma I started to feel out of breath and a bit gasping at times , I knew what it was but my Dr insisted it was Angina , well I argued with him but he insisted I went to Hospital for tests , Had them done on the tread mill etc everything fine as I knew it would be , went in to see consultant he asked why I had gone to Dr and I explained about I thought it was Asthma back and he agreed ,
If I had listened to my Dr I would have been put on heart meds I didn't need , why don't they listen to us we know our own bodies 😕

Gem sounds like the work is coming along nicely.

I managed , at great inconvenience , to get my DIL , to take me to get the flu Jab at the flu day in the surgery . I had been given a day date and time , so rang and explained that I could walk to the part time surgery in the village , but can't drive and going to the main surgery would involve 2 busses there and 2 back , but was told in no uncertain terms to come to the Main day , I said last 2 or 3 years the district nurse had done the needful , but I was now free to go to get it if I could get a lift . I got a lecture on wasting Nurses time ! Guess what Nurse rang today to say she was coming to do the needful , she couldn't believe it when I said I had had the jab already as I was on her list , one hand doesn't know what the other is up to !
