Good afternoon all . I have just returned from the vets . Our cat had her yearly check up and her cat flu injection , As you may well be aware she is an extremely nervous cat and when I had managed to get her out of her cat carrier she tried to climb into my handbag . She had her head and front paws in but there wasn't any room for the rest of her bless her. We are now home and she is sat glaring at me !
Its very muggy here this afternoon and it has rained a little , typical as I have got a full load of washing pegged out.

Oma thanks for the update on T . Fingers crossed it is positive news . If you speak to Libra tell her I am sending her lots of good wishes.

Wee Granny I missed my yoga teacher a lot when she moved , I did attend her classes at her new club but it was a long way to go. I did initially have a lift with a lady who went but she started to hint that it was out of her way which wasn't true as she had to pass me to get to it, anyway I can take a hint and I stopped going. Its not only the yoga I miss but the chats I had with all the others there as well .

If my plants don't arrive today Thompson and Morgan will be hearing from me . I was promised them on Thursday and its now Monday afternoon.

    Have a good day everyone
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Plant yes , if DIL there we couldn't go down and I wouldn't anyway , it's just annoying when he leaves these snippets of information till the very last minute , He got the sharp end of my tongue but it goes in one ear out of the other ,
When his Sister dropped GS1 off this morning she was furious with him so no doubt a text from her would have followed when she got to work 😊

Oma, inlaws are fine at the moment.

It was sunny and warm this morning, but turned cool now, with a few spots of rain.
Off to read Oma's update from Libra now.

Such a change in weather from the boiling hot day we had yesterday, it's dark and raining and quite windy too .
We'll can't expect anything else , Window cleaner came this morning 😲😊

It’s been very hot here today. Went out this morning in trousers, top,and carry and had to change to cotton skirt and t shirt when we got home. It’s looking a bit cloudy now but still feels warm.

It's far too late to say 'good morning', but my morning started early and was rushed. This is the first chance I've had to sit down and say 'hello'.

It was the last day of the holidays for GD1 (as I suppose is the case for lots of our GCs) and both girls came over her with Cooper. It was the usual hectic, one thing after another sort of day, although I have to say everyone was very good - even OH!!! We've also being getting things ready for going away on Wednesday, as tomorrow will be even busier! OH went out to wash down the caravan - it gets lots of debris from the horse chestnut tree in front of our house, and found our neighbour had splashed paint all down it when he painted the dividing fence recently! They're good neighbours, and I'm sure he wouldn't have realised, but it took OH over an hour to get it off!

I'm trying to sort out what to take to wear - the weather forecast seems to veer between an Indian Summer and cold and rainy!!

I still have loads to do tonight, so please forgive me for not commenting on your posts.

              Sleep well, everyone. x

                Good morning one and all.

Wow Daisy, such a busy time for you.
Hope you get some relaxation on your holiday.

I'm making corned beef and onion pies today for the freezer.
Took the last one out last night for today.
Some ironing to do as well, besides the usual cleaning and tidying.

Have a good day whatever you are doing.

Good morning, Nanto and everyone. The graphic is a nice bright start to Tuesday.

So far this morning I've sorted out food for Eva for our holiday - just got to put it in the cool box in the morning, broken the lid on one of our wooden compost bins (haven't told OH yet!) put washing on, fed dog, made a cup of tea and bagged up dog treats for training tonight! So just off for a shower and then over to look after GD2. It's her home visit this morning, so will be interesting to meet her teacher.

Have a good day, ladies. Catch up later.

Good morning Nan2 , Daisy and everyone else.

I hope your DD's new job is going well Plant, your railway museum day sounds good.
No wonder you were annoyed with your son Oma.
That's a pity about your yoga class WG.
Cats and vets Mimi! Kitty trying to climb into your handbag paints a funny picture
Busy time for you Daisy , you will be ready for your caravan break.

Yesterday was much hotter than expected. I almost didn't bother with my sunglasses, I'm glad I put them in my bag!
We had a lovely time yesterday, DD2, myself and all the 3 GC. I am going to make a thread about it in Days Out with Grandchildren, , so will say no more about it here.
Free day today, as I had GS1 yesterday. The usual Tuesday golf competition for OH.

                    Enjoy your day everyone

Busy, busy busy Daisy. such a lot to remember when you are going away just for a few days. Hope you are not in trouble breaking the compost lid.

Sunny day here, a bit of housework this morning, feeding the washing machine, then this afternoon I am meeting GD1 at JL, I can spend all day there. It is my Dil's birthday coming soon, she has given me some ideas so I hope to buy her something today.

                      Have a good day all.

That sounds lovely to get all the GC together, GD needs to see you more, she hasn't had the same contact as her brother. who knows perhaps Dil might relent and let her come for a sleep over.
