I had a nice catch up with my friend, OH has painted some doors upstairs (but did join us for lunch) I spoke to mum on the phone and she is fine, thank goodness. Nothing much else to do today but print off the minutes and agendas for tomorrow's meeting.

I remember taking Zinc myself some years ago, I am going to the dentist tomorrow morning and they are over a chemist and boots is just a short walk, I will get GD1 some. Tooth not too bad but is hasn't really cleared up so she wants to see me, she will probably take another x-ray when all I need is another prescription, so another bill.

Avo - goodness, what a busy lady. You will need another trip to Portugal to recover. A song for each decade sounds a lovely idea, and I'm sure everyone appreciated the choir. Is your dog ok going to the vets?

Plant - fingers crossed the dentist just gives you another prescription, but good to hear it's a little better.I hope the zinc helps your GD fight off the winter chills and coughs.

I hope things are a bit easier for Enfy's OH, and Plants tooth and Daisy's back are less painful.

I have a committee meeting this morning for my library group. I am quite excited as we will probably learn about the future of our library which is still in it's mobile bus in the village.
I will call in on mum later to take audio books, then collect GS1 from school. So that's my day!

Morning everyone. Just written a bit in my journal. After my flu jab yesterday I've got a stinker of a headache & sore arm. The whole of my arm would you believe. The nurse said it's a good job we had it tho as it's their last batch & it's going fast.

I'm making my Christmas cake today while OH is off golfing. I always make a wish but I'd need a bruddy big cake to cover all my wishes this time.😂

The holiday did us both good. The week in the bungalow made us think about the size of our house & how much easier it would be to keep clean had we a home on one level. Food for thought.

Daisy as you say the rugger players are a breed of their own. We were four rows from the front & boy the sound they made when they went together for a scrum was bone chilling. Does you good to have a good shout too😉

I have been to a meeting. I was writing the minutes franctically as we only had a 45 minutes slot and so much to discuss. Good news about the new library, which I will write about later.

Morning all. I've just come back from the hospital after having my feet x-rayed.
Felt so silly, I had to sit with my knee bent, foot flat on the 'bed' and knee leaning towards me, I then had cramp in the back of my leg, the poor woman who was doing the x-ray had to help me limp around the room till it had passed. When it had passed we went back to the original position only for her to ask " Can you wiggle your toes and spread them "? If I could do that I doubt that I would have needed the x-ray.

I popped to M and S looking for a few Christmas present ideas and I came out with a tin of shortbread for us and a couple of boxes of chocolates as they were half price.

Daisy, I didn't get any Migraleve. I looked on their website and there was a message on there stating that they hope to have supplies middle November.
