Nanto2, one needs to test the height, width and comfort factors before one commits. One has to be comfy, with elbow room for reading the newspaper etc. ๐Ÿ˜ We are experts in this house, having replaced quite a few as we moved around.
Clover, what a shock! Not a nice one either, especially as you had to clear up too.
To all you lunchers, enjoy, even if you have to cook it. Casserole here I think.
Re. the loos that wash the BTM, most of the hotel loos on holiday had a spray attached. You only had to look at it to see it would be a disaster, well, in my hands anyway. Iโ€™m sure all would be soaked in less than a minute ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ™„
    Now watching Remembrance Festival.
    Sleep well all.

Clover - what a busy day you've had. I'm tired just reading about it, and then to get showered in glass when the bulb exploded was the last thing you needed. I hope there aren't any tiny bits left in your hair or clothes.

      Qwerty - you're a brave lady. x

OH is already talking about visiting loo shops by the score!

                Good morning, Nanto, and everyone.

What a beautiful graphic to mark the hundredth anniversary of Armistice Day. We will remember them.

                  Good morning ladies

Thank you so much for that graphic Nan2.

Today I am picking my mum up and driving to the hotel where her friend's 90th birthday celebration will be held. It should take about 40 minutes from where mum lives. Slightly complicated by the fact that the dual carriageway is closed this weekend on a stretch of our journey, so I have to take all the back roads via the villages! Mum isn't comfortable eating out any more, but I hope all goes well as it is her friend's day. I have have ordered her a small portion, so fingers crossed.

Have a good day, whatever it holds for you.

Clover. When Mum was under the care of the Memory Clinic I asked for a home visit. I said it caused her distress. The home visits were so much better & less 'formal'. The nurse had a cuppa, biscuit & chat. She even came in the kitchen so I could chat to her too about my worries. I feel for you love.

Enfys I'm so sorry to hear you two are going through the mill. What's going on with all these OH's? Oma hope B will be ok & anyone else who'se poorly. Hope you get your tooth sorted Plant. OuchโฃDaisy might you need to get your back checked at the docs?

Our week away in Scotland has come to an end. Plant the rugger was fantastic. On our way home now. Sat Nav saying home 4ish. I think 6ish. Qwerty wish we were calling in for that Sunday roast.๐Ÿ˜‰
