Good morning, lovely and sunny here but chilly.

Just had a phone call from the hospital, the blood test they took yesterday couldn’t be processed for some reason, she didn’t know why. So guess where we’re going this morning? Back to hospital for another test! That’s every day this week, the car knows it’s own way by now 😀. But then we’re going out for lunch, definately maybe 😀

Enfys hate when that happens and it happens a lot either they loss them or the machine is broken or its contaminated , such a pain up and down all the time , enjoy lunch xx

Enfys what a nuisance having to go back to the hospital . Hope the blood tests are successful today.

Evening a busy day but not a lot to show to be honest, I stayed up till 1 am this morning watching a box set of Paul Getty I couldn’t leave it alone , I love Donald Sutherland that plays him and every time the episode finished I wanted more., consequently I slept later, had to go food shopping, did some washing and then had visitors,

Had a lovely visit to GD1 and her partner.took her birthday presents for Saturday.
She's got an interview for another job tomorrow.She loves the job she has now,but doesn't like working at Christmas.

Nanto - good luck to your GDE1 for her interview. It would be a nice extra birthday present if she gets it. I hope she has a great birthday whatever happens.

Mimi - I hope you managed to get out in the garden today.

It was lovely here once the mist cleared, but not quite as warm as yesterday. Anyway, I got quite a few jobs done - mowed the lawn, trimmed the edges, cut back a monster Rosemary bush that was threatening to take over the greenhouse, trimmed the lavender bushes, fished leaves out of the waterfall thingy and did some sweeping up. I took Eva for a walk about 5.00 and it was still lovely and warm, but it's going chilly at night now!

Well, all went well today and Asda blood taking lived up to OH's and my promises to mum!
No wait all all, lovely kind and chatty bloodtaking lady who remarked on mum's cardigan and asked if she had made it (She had) No sooner had mum warned her that her veins were hard to find, the lady was asking mum to press on the cotton wool, and all was done.
Mum was still talking about her birthday today and still thanking me for the day we gave her, so she was a happy bunny

Hope I find you all well this morning.Another promising day here so more gardening on the agenda this afternoon after my usual morning working.

Thank you for asking after my sister. She finally had the op to put a pin in her leg.The physio had her walking but M felt a bit faint half way round so had to have a chair brought.She sounded a bit down when I first spoke to her last night but as we chatted she got brighter.Obviously she is still worried about her OH. Just to add to her concerns he unfortunately had to spend a night in hospital as the district nurse who was visiting was worried about his sugar levels so-called an ambulance.He is back home now and hoping to visit M today.

Gem I’m glad your Mum was fine at Asda and still enjoying her birthday memories.

Nanto I hope your GD has a good interview today and a Happy birthday.It’s my DD’s birthday tomorrow as well.

I know your poor sister must be worrying about her OH, and you worrying about both of them Clover! I hope her leg heals well. Don't overdo the gardening!

As I had the grandchildren on Monday this week, today is a free one. OH wants to go to Aldi and I want to go to a small garden centre which is rumoured to have some Scottish Cobbles! Still none in The Range, they seem to have become rare! Tonight we are eating out with friends. Someone's birthday, at a new Italian.

Clover good to hear your sister has had op now she can recover and get home .
Hope everyone else is feeling ok and all appointments going to plan ,

Very bright but cold hear today ,
I was up very early today so I have blitzed through , windows cleaned inside , damp dusted this morning lots of gritty dust has blown through open windows during the night so window sills in bedrooms were in a state ,
Floors need a wash but we have Dog today so leave them till after he has gone ,
Been out and chopped all my herbs down , cant use them as Storm took to cocking his leg on them , we will have to have them in something higher when I buy new ones ,
Flowers in tubs getting a bit raggy now so going at weekend get some winter bedding plants ,

Good morning everyone. Nanto - I could fall in love with that kitten.

Enfys - I hope you don't have to wait for the rerun of the blood test today.

Clover - I'm sure having a chat with you helped to cheer your sister up. I think you can feel quite detached and isolated from your family in hospital, so it must help to have you to talk to. I hope her OH's blood sugar is ok now.

Gem - I'm so pleased your Mum's trip to Asda went well. It will save you many a trip to her doctors in the future. Her birthday celebrations must have been a great success as she is still happy about the day. You are a daughter in a million. x

It's not quite so sunny this morning, but I have high hopes for later, so more gardening for me! I'd like to weed the front garden and take out a few plants that aren't doing well. Plus there's a huge dock right in the middle of a patch of Lithodora - I'm not looking forward to trying to dig that out! Plus my pet hate - brambles - keep creeping through from next door. I shall be so pleased if I can get it all tidied up before the weather turns.
