    Hello everyone.

Qwerty - the mind boggles at acrylic pants. (Pun fully intended!)

Nana - you have to give the doctor full marks for honesty today. I hope you're ok and it's not too sore.

Clover - we all down down in the dumps sometimes without having the worries that you (and several others) have day in day out. Good advice from Enfys. xx You are right about the secret goings on with seed potatoes! I hope everything goes well tomorrow. Sending hugs.

Grauntie - sending love and hugs. I've always loved the idea of seeing the Cirque du Soleil, so I'm glad it was worth the trip for you and your family. What a lovely day out, despite the sardine tins, sorry trains!

Enfys - I'm sorry to hear P is getting some side effects. I hope they're soon sorted out. He's such an inspiration - and so are you. xx

Gem - I hope you and your friend are having a nice lunch with plenty of chat and a good laugh. It's funny how we all deal with things differently.

Mimi - I nearly missed your post - you were on the next page. It's good to get a proper sleep, but not the bad dreams. Us innocent gardeners! I never thought of chitting potatoes as being a dodgy thing to do. We'd better be careful who we tell.

We've got Cooper here today, bossing us around, or trying to! Eva has been a little tinker chasing him round the garden churning up mud and then bringing it into the house. We're only letting them out one at a time now before the term 'garden room' takes on a whole new meaning!

Clover I wish you lived nearer to one of us, you need cheering up. It must get you down to see your loved one declining.

Grauntie, how lovely to see you popping in, the ladies will be pleased to hear from you.

I did not go to bowls today, I have an attack if diverticulitis, very sore tummy, haven't had an attack for years although I do have diverticulitis pockets. My diet couldn't be better to ward off an attack. Hope it doesn't last long. Blood result at the warfarin clinic was good, it has been a bit low.

Clover and Enfys, i think its understandable for you both to have down days, considering the circumstances.

Oma, in laws are keeping warm.
Dad used to be tight bu**** with the heating.
We've all nagged him so much, he's not as bad now.

        Been quite sunny today.

Oh poor Plant, that must be so painful. I hope it passes soon. Good news about the warfarin levels.
Older people have to keep warm don't they Nan2? I keep emphasising this to my mum.
Daisy thank you so much for the announcement about Berwick on TV tonight I have seen snatches of it on the panto FB page but am looking forward to seeing it all .

I had a lovely lunch and chat with my friend. The afternoon passed in a flash!

Grauntie sorry I missed your post just before mine. Maybe they crossed. I hope your health issue sorts itself out. I think a few of us are fighting to keep that black dog at bay. (We have a black cocker so I'll have to run fast to avoid our black dog😂). Clover like Plant said it's a pity you don't live near one of us to meet up for a natter. Plant I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your poorly tummy is soon better.Enfys I'm sorry to hear that P is feeling under the weather.

Sorry if I missed anyone out.

Returned home from Portugal on Thursday, the cold weather was a bit of a shock as we had been having 18-20 degrees most days. We lit both our wood burning stoves, put on the central heating and left it on overnight the first night. We soon got nice and toasty.

Oma - glad to hear B's appointment went well. I do hope you sleep better tonight so you've got plenty of energy for your shopping trip tomorrow. You're right about the dogs - little monkeys! I took Cooper home about 4.30 and gave him his dinner because he had the vets at 5.30, and he gobbled it up and fell fast asleep. H

Plant - poor you, I've heard diverticulitis is very painful, so do rest and take care of yourself. xxx

Avo - welcome home. It takes a lot to get and stay warm when you've been abroad in the winter, but your home sounds very cosy.

Gem - I thought of your mum earlier when I was looking through the Qwerkity Catalogue - they had a heated lap blanket in there.

OH has a hospital appointment for 8.30 tomorrow, so it's an early start for us.

                      Good morning everyone.
I can't believe I am first here, have you all got lost in the fog??

It is so bad here the golf course is closed! OH is due to play at 10.
A free day today, as GS1 day is Wednesday this week. I have no plans. I was going to go to the cinema but there is nothing I fancy.
It's quite nice to have an unstructured day though

AVo welcome back to the chilly UK!
I hope everyone is as well as can be, and Clovers and Mr Daisy's appointments go well.

Good morning all. Clover, good luck for your appointment today.

Dull and dreary here but milder. Off to a friends this morning, we are doing some transcribing for a Family History project. It’s a national project organised by the Church of Latter Day Saints who run the huge Family Search web site. It’s such a valuable resource for genealogists so it’s nice to be a small part of it.

Otherwise nothing else planned. P is feeling a bit better today but he has a nasty rash on his arms caused by the chemo so luckily he is seeing the oncologist on Thursday so can get some advice. Oh, and I’ve finished my socks so all ready to cast on another pair. A nice easy project, just right for me at the moment.

Have a good day everyone 🌞

I had forgotten that we are eating out tonight!
One of the restaurants we use sent me a 50% off voucher a while ago. It is for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only and runs out next week. As I will be over at DD1's looking after GS1 tomorrow and never know what time I will be in, tonight is the night. I was just wondering what to cook tonight when I remembered
