Nice try Daisy that made me smile, we don't have the pushchair much these days as we live up a hill and pushing 2 children up it is too much for me now. They used to sleep in the pushchair you could let it down to sleeping angle so now I have to get one nearly asleep( and they still need it ) and lay them on the settee but I darnt walk away so i sit on the floor with my head on the settee and pretend to go to sleep it's called the contortionist position but every time I pop open one eye they do the same lol then I start with number 2 it's in the experimental stage at the moment 😴😴

My youngest GD was like that Qwerty, I used to say I am just going to sort the washing out and then I will be back and always went back. Usually it worked but I have never tried it with two.

Yesterday GS1, aged 4, was telling me about their project on Africa at Pre School.
'They have rain forests, and a really big waterfall' he said. 'Yes, and it is really hot' I said, 'but can be very cold at night'.

He looked at me rather scathingly and said ' That's Space, silly!!'

GS2, 15 months, was in the kitchen while I was clearing up after his lunch today. He spent a very long time, opening and closing the dishwasher. It squeaks, and every time it did so, he imitated it with a squeaky scream

Gem - it's amazing how realistically young children can imitate sounds. My GD2 loves a short video clip of her when she was just a few months old which sounds as though she's trying to say 'hello' - and she imitates it to perfection. I hope both your dishwasher and your GS2 recover!

My GS2 has started walking with GD when he takes our dog out. He absolutely loves it, (so does GS1). OH whistles our dog back & as our GS can't yet whistle he lets out a very high pitched scream. Seems to work. My OH said it was all he could do to keep a straight face.😂

Nana - how lovely - I can just picture that! Our GSs used to love taking Rusty and Clyde for walks - they could have one each and they dogs were small enough not to pull them over. Oooops, am I suggesting you get a second dog!!!!

Ha. We've thought about it Daisy but we love cocker spaniels & doubt we have room for two. If you've had cockers one at a time is probably enough.😉 GC + dog partnership is really special.

Nana I said the same about Storm they should have bought two to keep each other company but I think 1 Husky puppy is enough especially if like when Storm was as a pup, he destroyed everything , now he's 2 he's a pleasure to have but boy was he hard work to start out with and when he blows his coat the hairs get everywhere

You could spin and weave the husky hair Oma! I had a much loved GSD and I saved his groomings with the intention of making a picture from them. They got lost in a house move.🙁
