Yes, fortunately Granny saw the funny side.

Gs1 (almost 6) said he was asked by a girl in his class to help her fasten a couple of buttons on her school cardigan.
GS. "It was quite scary".
Mummy. "Was it E. Why?"
GS. "Because it's the first time I've had to help do a
girls thing".
Apparently his expression was priceless.🙈

Clover - I noticed that too. Little girls seem to come out with their most priceless comments around 3 or 4 and with little boys is around 5 or 6. I'm not suggesting girls are ahead of boys in any way, they just develop different skills at different times. I used to notice in the studio that 5-6 year old boys were charming, cheeky and great fun. Six - 7 year old girls would be going through a little diva/teenage stage. They knew what they wanted and how they wanted to look or pose for the camera. It was always fascinating."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

GS1 is 6 in April so I think I can get away with saying he's 6 instead of 5yrs 10mth etc. Easier to round it off. Mind you my birthday is two days before his but I'm quite happy not to add/round off any onto mine. 🤐"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."
