Oma, from what the orthopaedic vet told us that is the most robust operation. The other one is more like an elastic band holding things together. Keeping him off his legs for two weeks won't be easy, but it's worth it to get a good recovery. I bet. your DD has got lots of enrichment activities to keep him occupied once he's recovered from the anaesthetic.

Is there any news about B's car yet?

Nanto, I hope you don't get snowed in. Had you got any plans to go out?

This week seems to have gone by very quickly - I thought. Then I realised it's Thursday, not Friday.

Daisy, a while ago OH thought it was Friday too!
In her case maybe because the golf course was closed again so no Thursday golf.

Poor Storm Oma, so hard when you can't explain to them.

Gem, at least your OH had grounds for thinking it was Friday.

Raining again, will see if it turns to snow as the forecast said.

Daisy, we didn't have any plans to go out.

Oma, hope Storm is a bit better this morning.

              Good morning,

It's a wet morning. No snow forecast here, but rain as usual. There is actually NO rain forecast tomorrow and sun is expected.

Oma, I know the pain after knee surgery and I understood and agreed to that operation! Poor Storm, every day is a day forward in his recovery though.

Aqua for me this morning, then I am going to school for GS2 this afternoon. A bit of normality for us both.

                Morning ladies,

                Nanto
We had a flurry of snow but that was all , it's very cold here..

                Gem
A normal day is what is needed in all the madness and worry your having ,
                Enjoy your Aqua.

                Daisy
That's what vet was hoping but found it was worse when they opened it up,
I'm going to ring DD soon see how his night has been.

No news on the car , we are hoping to hear something today.

We can't go anywhere so a quiet day in , I'm not sure if GS will be coming today or not , we will just wait to hear from him 😁

A rather late Good Friday Morning greeting from me.

Nanto, the rain is better than the snow some places have had. I think. I bet you're glad you can stay home in the warmth.

Gem, it will be a treat if tomorrow's weather is as forecast. Possibly a whole day without rain. You need some normal days, and I'm glad you're getting to Aqua. Does GS2 break up for half term today? I think both our GDs do.

Oma, I hope Storm slept through the night, and is still sleepy. He'll be far more relaxed if he's still partly sedated. Your poor DD probably didn't sleep well though. You can't help worrying, although I think dogs are quite good at accepting what's happening and know they need to rest. You'll both be [pleased to get the car back - fingers crossed. Did GS come over?

We've got rain again. What a surprise. I'm pinning my hopes on a dry day tomorrow, as forecast. It's been one of those mornings when I seem to have a lot of small jobs all clamouring for attention, and none of them getting completely finished. I put most of the Sainsbury's order away then left off to wash the veg box in the fridge, then left off to wipe down the sink because I'd splashed water everywhere, and while I was doing that I thought I might as well wash all the fruit and veg. Then started re-arranging flowers, left off to water a couple of plants, left that to do something else. What a disorganised couple of hours. Time to stop for a sandwich, a cup of tea and a sit down.

                    Well the car saga continues,
Now they saying the computer system has gone and it could be weeks if not months for the part to arrive,
RAC are arranging a hire car but could take anything between 3-7 days,
It has to be automatic, room for electric wheelchair and preferably an electric car.

                    Storm had a decent night,
He was a bit grumbly and cried a few times ,
This morning he went out for a wee then he's had some chicken , took his pain killers and hard a good drink .

She said he's much more alert today, still not putting his leg down but that's to be expected ,

                    Daisy
I think we all get days when we are distracted and end up doing things out of order ,
Plus I find one thing leads another and you end up doing stuff you didn't set out to do 😁

GS is organising a recording session today for Uni so not sure if he will be coming today.

Oh what a carry on with the car Oma.
Brave Storm . I'm sure he will soon feel a lot better.

Daisy yes half term is next week. GS2 will come to me on Thursday next week, so he and little E can be here together.

Well we haven't had any snow, but plenty of rain again.

Glad Storm is more alert today.
What a to do about the car. Hope you get sorted soon, one way or another.

Brian just heard his cousin passed away this afternoon,
He has been unwell for a while ,
We are hoping we have a car in time for the funeral ,

I think we might get a flurry of snow overnight it's cold enough.

                          Gem
I didn't realise it was half term. Not having any school age children you tend to not realise😁
I'm sure the boys will love seeing each other, do you think GS 1 might come also?

Oma, B's car isn't very old, is it? I wonder why parts are so hard to get. You must both be very fed up, so I hope the RAC get a hire care sooner rather than later. I'm sorry to hear about B's cousin. Did he live nearby? It's good Storm hasn't lost his appetite and is drinking. It's hard to get a dog to drink if they don't want to. Keeping his leg off the ground is probably good. He needs to let it heal. How did GS's recording session go?

Gem, Thursday will be a busy day for you with GS2 and little E. Fingers crossed it's a nice day.

Nanto, even more rain! It feels never-ending doesn't it.

It stopped raining here this afternoon, and Eva and I had a second day of dry walks. She was keen to go a bit further today, so we went on to the Forest, even though I have to keep her on the lead. She had a good sniff round and a nice long sleep when we got home. OH is out tonight, so I cooked garlic mushrooms on toast, and had a nice Whats App chat with GD1 who is busy with her GCSE Textiles project. She's putting a lot of time and effort into it.

OH has a tip slot booked for first thing tomorrow. He needed to empty the trailer before Christmas, but with being ill he couldn't do it. I don't know where all the junk comes from. I'm hoping it will be dry so we can get on with some jobs in the garden as well.

We are going to Wombwell today, haven't been for a few weeks. First call when we get there will be for coffee.

Hope all poorly doggies feel better today.

Oma, sorry to hear about B's cousin.

                                Morning Nanto, ladies.

                                Very frosty this morning,

                                Nanto
I always smile when you mention Womb well it reminds me of the Wombles 😁

                                Daisy
Is Eva ok not being allowed off lead?
Storm is never off lead so it's normal for him.
How is her leg , can you see a improvement with the exercises yet?

I love creamed mushrooms on toast but no garlic,

As far as I know the recording session was a great success, he said he will tell us all about it when he comes round to see us.

The main computer on the car has gone and it has to be ordered from Korea,
On line some people are saying they have waited months for theirs,
It's out of our hands now , we just have to be patient.

B's cousin lived in Sunderland all his other cousins live around us .

My DS is 45 today a Valentine baby.
I text him he said just another day chauffeuring the kids around to different activities.

We are going to visit his mam today we have ordered the Taxi for 11.30
