Hello everybody. Rather a late post from me, but it's been a non-stop day somehow.
Oma, I'm tempted to say it never rains but what it pours, but that might be too close to the truth for your DD's bathroom. It sounds really awful and not something that can be fixed quickly. I think your shower is going to be very well used! Water can cause so much damage.
MIL might well have kept you busy today, but I hope not. You and B need a break.
Nanto, did you get a lot of rain? At least Pooh Bear has the right idea.
We took Eva over to the vets this morning. They decided to do the X-ray under sedation rather than GA, which we were very thankful for, but it's shown a cranial cruciate ligament injury. Apparently it's like an ACL injury in people - a common knee injury and makes the knee unstable. In dogs it tends to come on gradually rather than being a sudden accident. Luckily her other back leg is ok, but she needs an operation on the bad leg.
She's feeling very sorry for herself this evening. She hasn't even shown any interest in her dinner. We're going to GS2's belated birthday party tomorrow, but I think Eva will be happier staying with DS2. They can't go as GD1 is working, so they're happy to look after her.
Last night I completely forgot to finish off the Sainsbury's order, so the cupboard/fridge will be rather bare tonight. Still, we won't starve. I've never done that before!
