I hope you enjoy the rugby Plant

What lovely rings Lizzie, I love silver rings.

Did you get any gardening done Daisy?

Well the engineer found the problem but can't fix it. Someone else will be along to fix it 'in the next couple of days'.
The good news is no more patchy internet. The bad news, no internet at all, which we didn't realise until he had gone away. Fortunately our lovely next door neighbour has let us log onto his superfast broadband for as long as we want.
Our friend G is taking us to the station tomorrow which is very kind of her. The Sunday bus service isn't very good. We have booked first class both ways on the train, more space and our lunch included We have worked out the tube journey and should have a couple of hours between arriving at the hotel and the show time.

A gloomy day here but no rain.

        Lizzie I will

Yes it's so lucky C next door offered last time we were cut off (we didn't take him up on it as we weren't off for long. that time) I messaged him today and he sent me the details straight away. They are the other half of the semi, so the same house in a way!

What a good neighbour, we are having a bit trouble with our landline through Sky also.

Gem, thats very good of your neighbour to let you use their internet.
Hope you enjoy the Abba Experience.

There were two cards i didn't get at the garden centre. They were what we call cutie cards,we prefer something a bit more traditional.
We will have to have look round when we are out and about.

Oma,glad there was no drama from MIL.

Oma, you must go to visit MIL half expecting a drama. It must seem strange when there isn't one, but I'm very glad for your and B's sakes. Was she pleased with the apple turnover?

Gem, your neighbours are very kind, but I hope you don't have to wait too long for your connection to be repaired. You're well organised for your trip to London. My DIL1 was in the West End last night and the Christmas lights looked lovely. She went to see Level42 at the Palladium. It's a good idea travelling first class on a long journey. It's much quieter, more comfortable and as you say, it includes a meal. I've just looked at the London weather forecast for tomorrow, and it looks cloudy and a bit chilly, but at least they're not predicting rain. Fingers crossed for you.

Nanto, what a pity you didn't get all the cards you needed. Good luck with finding the elusive ones you want.

Plant, I don't think my OH realised the rugby was on. Glad it was a good game, though.

Lizzie, oh, no wonder it was chilly at the party. I hope you've thawed out now.

I didn't do any gardening, although it wasn't raining. The ground was still saturated from the overnight rain. I fished the leaves out of the pond, but that was all. I took Eva for a walk. We only went round the block, but had to walk past a young lad who was playing basket ball in his front garden. Eva was terrified! She hates random, irregular noises, and just froze to the spot - halfway through the cattle grid gate. It took me a while to coax her the rest of the way through, and then she ran past the boy, with me doing my best to run with her. I was exhausted when we got home, and we only ran about 100 yards. I don't think I'll be up for training for a marathon any time soon.
