    Good Easter Monday morning, everyone.

Nanto, and good morning to your cheery friend with the spring flowers. Enjoy a relaxing day.

Gem, I think OH thought I was a bit mad when I spread out the Easter decorations and asked where the Blu-tack was!! The GDs thought they were lovely, so it was worth it. I'm pleased your DDs and families got their Easter egg hunts in, despite the dismal start to the day. The Thorntons egg sounds delicious. Does it have chocolates inside? OH and I are lucky in that we like different chocolates so there's no discussion about who has what. The only thing we agree on is that neither of us likes coconut so they always get left.

I hope you enjoyed your aqua class today and relaxed over a coffee with your friends.

Oma, I had to laugh about B and the hair dryer. You can't blame him for not thinking about it though - I don't suppose he uses it often. Your DD is very creative, and those little eggs looked so professional. I confess I enjoy dressing the table more than I enjoy doing the cooking! When I worked in the pottery industry I was forever doing new displays on the shelves in my boss's office, and woe betide him if he didn't notice!

We're having a lazy day, although the sun's shining and I ought to get out and do some gardening. We're going round to a friend's tonight for a drink and a catch up. No other plans other than Eva's usual expedition.

Lovely day here yesterday, 4 children hunting eggs that GD had hidden. H had a lovely time with her cousins, she has gone to her daddy’s flat now so GD will have time now to clear up as DD and Sil due back tomorrow. I am expecting DS, Dil and GS3 who is home for the weekend. They are just popping in, Dil will look for jobs she can do for me.
      ,

Oma, It must be nice to be straight again. B in trouble again.

Daisy it is lovely when you can make the table look nice. I am afraid ours are a bit of a free for all. Help yourself and find a seat.

Plant, I bet all the children enjoyed the egg hunt yesterday. H seems to be switching between her Mum and Dad quite happily. I hope your DD and SIL have had a good holiday. It's kind of DIL to offer to do any jobs you need doing.

Oma, I wish I'd taken a photo of our Easter dinner table, but the decorations are still there.

Lovely Daisy, and I'm sure your table looked beautiful

That sounded a fun weekend for your family Plant.

Oma, yes the sweet and sour was a success yesterday. Whoops with B and the electricity!!

Only one of my aqua friends was there, the one who came to lunch yesterday! We still had coffee and a chat.

We didn't take any photos of DD2s always fabulous Easter decorations! This is the closest which is just the very wonderful trifle made by DD2, and chocolate krispie Easter buns by me. 20265.jpg

Plant, glad you had a lovely day yesterday.

              Daisy,Easter decorations look lovely.

Gem, trifle looks lovely. That is one of hubby's favourite desserts.

The weather has been lovely today. Sunny all day and a lot warmer.
We were able to sit in the garden with tea and cake.
I think its forecast to be a bit warmer tomorrow and wednesday.
              Cool again from thursday.

                      Good morning everyone.

Not sad at all Nan2,small pleasures are what life is made of in the end. Enjoy town

Oma I have an Easter tree but it doesn't light up. That's lovely.

Library for me. No other plans , but I must do the Minutes of the last meeting.
Lovely sunny day,OH is gutted to be missing golf. She wouldn't be up to playing unless she has a buggy. You can only have one for competition play with a Drs note. She is going to look into for another time.

                          Good Tuesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, as Gem said, life is made up of small pleasures. Enjoy your trip in to town, hopefully in the sunshine. Today's graphic is very cheery and great for a sunny day. Doesn't the weather make a difference. Being able to sit out in the garden with a cup of tea and cake is one of life's pleasures for me.

Gem, the trifle and the crispie Easter buns look delicious, and I bet there wasn't much left over! How is it at the library without the librarian? You will miss her. I hope OH can get a doctor's note to use a buggy. It will make such a difference for her when she enjoys playing so much.

Oma, I hope you got what you wanted in M&S, and at least B will be happy with his nice clean car. What did you want at the Garden Centre?

We had a lovely evening with our friends yesterday. We were so busy chatting that I didn't realise how late it was, and feel guilty because our friend won't let anyone help with the clearing up, and I know she wouldn't leave it till this morning.

OH has gone to the doctor's. I've been trying to get him to go for a while as he's never really got his energy back from being ill in December. We've written down all his symptoms and I hope he actually shows it to the GP. He wouldn't let me go with him.

The gas main roadworks start today on the road into the village. There is no other local route and even the diversion of 11 miles isn't suitable for anything bigger than an ordinary car. The two nearby campsites are effectively cut off for the working day, and as the work progresses towards the village it will get worse. We've got residents' passes, so they've got to let us through, but inevitably this holds up their work. Great joy!

After two days of the house and garden full of children, I am on my own today. My GGD1 and H a sleepover together here and GD1 has now taken them to an animal park and amusements, they will have lunch there so for the first time for several days I am on my own. DS, Dil and GS3 dropped in to see me yesterday before GS returned to London. He is hoping to move to Cheltenham soon. DD and Sil due later from their holiday in Spain.

Daisy, I hope your OH gets some help from doctor, men are not very good to seek medical help.

Oma, the sunshine makes us want to clean, I don’t like my car to look as if it needs a clean.

Nanto, enjoy your trip to town, after so much rain it will be a pleasure to shop in the sunshine. Don’t get carried away, well why not.

Gemini, shame about S missing her golf, a buggie is a must. Do you have to book them?

Daisy,I'm sure your OH will give the right information now you have actually got him to see a Dr .

Plant, you can just book a golf buggy for general play, but for competitions you have to have proof of a medical condition.
                              Enjoy your alone time!

The library was busy, we had all the Monday work to do!
The lady I usually work with on Tuesday mornings was on holiday, so someone came from another library to cover. I had never met her before. She was very nice.
We will definitely miss our manager Daisy!

Poor OH is very down. The weather here is glorious and perfect for the golf competition she had to withdraw from. She has been gardening, which is good for her as long as she doesn't overdo it.
I messaged one of her friends suggesting she maybe ask OH to meet for a cuppa some time this week.

                                Daisy,hope OH's appointment goes well.

Gem, sad to hear OH is very down. I know she loves her golf.
