    Hello everyone.

    Not such a good day yesterday (Details on YEO)
    We had little E for the afternoon and overnight (luckily we had just bought his new PJs and undies as when he was dropped off it wasn't the plan for him to stay so he had nothing) We kept cheerful for him of course whilst deeply worried.
    Today was better. We went to see DD, still in hospital and later our friend brought round our share of the meal we had to miss last night, so that's dinner sorted!
    SIL and little E are at home tonight.

      Gem, I hope little E was pleased with his new PJs. How kind of your friends to bring the meal round for you. Those little acts of thoughtfulness mean a lot, as well as being of practical help.

        Good morning.

        Hope you enjoyed the meal Gem, but i suppose there are times when you don't feel like eating.

        No plans for us apart from me making some meals for the freezer.
        Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

          Good morning everyone.

          I did enjoy it thank you Nan2. There are times I havent wanted to eat at all, or a small amounts, but then I surprise myself by being hungry and eating well. I need to lose weight anyway, so that's the bonus.

          Daisy, little E loved his new pyjamas. Just Tesco, but blue very soft fleece with little dinosaurs on. Fit him well and comfortable.

          Aqua this morning. No other plans, maybe visiting DD3 if she doesn't go home.

            I bet little E loved his dinosaur pyjamas, is he sleeping ok?

            We have the new fridge/ freezer coming this morning,

            We also have the heating engineer,
            Our heating shot up to 34 last night for some reason , it wouldn't turn down, it was so hot we had to open the patio doors.

            B phoned he said to turn it off completely only put it on when we were cold for a short while and he will come out today.

            It's very dark and wet again so miserable.
            Im not fat just 6ft too small

              Good morning , Gem I can understand that about the eating, I was the same when DH was ill, in fact there were times I looked worse than he did! I can still look at the photo's and think "is that really me"!

              Mind you , I had the same this morning looking in the mirror, I have had a really high fever since Thursday, luckily it is going down again but I still feel lousy! M next door has had the flu as well, she still has actually, she brought me a bowl of her home made chicken soup last night, I did enjoy that. I have managed to get to the Lidl this morning for fruit and chicken to make chicken/cauliflower soup, I did want to do it yesterday but didn't feel well enough to go and do my shopping.

              Little E would love his new PJ's!

              DS1 and DIL arrived home yesterday, they were very lucky with the weather in the UK.

                Oma, i've got mince,onion,celery and mushrooms in the slow cooker.
                Sme will be mince hot pots and some will be cottage pies.
                Very similar meals i know.
                Thats a shame about the food going to waste with MIL.

                Gloomy weather here as well.

                      Oh my goodness Lizzie! What A dramatic birth! One of GS1's cousins was born in similar circumstances, with his toddler sister asleep in the car too

                              Sorry I didn't get to this thread sooner!

                              So much happening I don't think I can catch up properly tonight, but how scary for the parents of the new baby, Lizzie. I've often wondered at how people manage to deliver a baby in such a small space, but he looks gorgeous, and very relaxed.
