The golf course is open again after few days closed so OH is pleased.
Library morning for me no other plans as of now. DD got home last night (See YEO) I hope her friend A can see her today but if not I am free to go over if she likes.

A rainy week here according to the forecasts.

It's dry but bitter cold today
We are off to our big Asda in the next town,
We have a large one across the road , but now and then I like to go to the superstore.

Good morning, Oma, that is the first thing I saw, lovely long fingers, both GD's have those but very unusual for a boy. Yes mum and baby were back home at 7pm so the eldest got to meet his baby brother! The eldest isn't 2 yet so they will grow up together.

It is bitter cold here, they say that the wind chill is -11!!

You do right to go to town Nanto, the work will wait!

I'm still playing catch up. It seems every time I come to this thread the phone goes, there's someone at the door or OH is asking something. To be fair, he'd taken on a lot of household chores until he was ill, and now he's just starting to help again. So of course, all his nicely arranged systems have gone to pot as I've just done what was easy. He'll get everything back in order in a day or two! He's making ham, egg, beans and air fryer chips tonight.

Lizzie, I hope you are soon feeling ok again. Minus eleven is awful. Is your flat nice and warm? When people talk about long fingers it always makes me think of ET. But people often say those with long fingers are good pianists. That explains my lack of talent on the keyboard.

Nanto, I hope you enjoyed your trip out. Was it very busy?

Gem, Was it very cold for S on the golf course? I do hope A is now free of symptoms and can visit safely.

Oma, did you buy any special treats at the superstore?

Neither Eva nor I were very focussed on her physio, this morning, although she was hyper-focused on the treat bag. I took er out for a short walk just after lunch, and it was bitterly cold. Our next door neighbour came round for a cuppa and a chat this afternoon. Her OH is away skiing this week, but she's keeping busy, as always.

Dinner's ready. I'll try and pop back later.

Daisy, i thought it was quite busy in town yesterday. I didn't think it would be because it was bitterly cold.

Both of us have got our annual review at the clinic this morning.

I had an air delivered yesterday, it was a competition win.

Was S cold yesterday ? That winds was biting and the greens are so wide open aren't they.

I was rudely awakened at 10 past 5 this morning with the biggest cramp in outside of my leg , it went from my ankle to my knee,
I haven't moved that quickly in a long time ,

I shot out of bed ,
It took ages to go you could actually see the muscle in knots ,
B tried massaging it but it wasn't easing so ,
It was a case of coming downstairs and walking it off.

We sold the freezer and a tall cupboard yesterday , just the fridge to go now ,
A lady is coming on Saturdays with her partner in his van ,

They have just set up home so looking for stuff.

We might go down to see Storm today give him treats 😁

Nanto, I thought the cold yesterday would have put a lot of people off shopping, but perhaps they're just fed up with being indoors and wanted a change. I think I'd feel like that if I didn't have a dog to walk every day. Well done on y our competition win.

Oma, if I'd known about rhubarb crumble on your menu I'd have been up there like a shot. Nice candles are one of life's little pleasures, aren't they. Ouch, that cramp sounds really bad. Do you know what brings it on like that? I'm sure Storm will be delighted to see you - nothing to do with the treats, of course. Well done on selling the cupboard and the freezer. Are you pleased with your new fridge-freezer?

One of OH's car buddies is here this morning. They are doing something or other in OH's shed, which sounds as though it needs a lot of sanding down. It's the first time OH has been in the shed since before Christmas, so I ope he doesn't overdo it. I made a casserole in the slow cooker yesterday for dinner, so not much cooking to do. We've got DS2's dog, Cooper for a few hours today, so that will be fun. He's gorgeous but gets very excited.

At least the sun is shining at the moment, even though the garden is still squelching wet. We could do with some dry weather.

I love my fridge freezer it's massive lots of room ,
My old fridge wasn't as roomy.

No idea about the cramps I might need magnesium.

Poor Storm he can't put any weight on his leg , just holding it up all the time,
DD has been sleeping downstairs with him , they have a big L shaped squishy sofa so they have been cuddling up together.

He went out for a wee and squatted like a girl dog 😁
Mind he managed lots of treats I took him.

He took his pain killers no bother ,
Even naughty Buzz who generally swipes him was kind ,
DD said he even curled up next to Storm yesterday , never been known that 😁

I hope J is wrapped up well Daisy, it's bitter cold and after being ill he needs to take care.

How is Eva keeping up with Cooper ? Are they playing gently 😉

Oma, sounds like a good decision to change your fridge. DD sorted out my freezer yesterday. Poor Storm, at least the cat is being kind to him.

I have a small freezer with two drawers in the kitchen but in the garage I have a larger freezer with 3 drawers and a large ice compartment. My DD defrosted it yesterday, put the contents in her large freezer and switched it off. All back now and very tidy. GD1 is starting a job in one of the schools nearby, just a lunchtime job. She can’t take on any more hours. Problem is she needs a car
