Hallo everyone, I will do a catch up! The sun is shining, but, it is far from warm.

Oma, I do not know how you cope with your MIL!

Gem, has S got a worn hip? You can get pain in the groin from that, I have had awful pain in my groin for 10 days now, I have had it before, had dry needling for it, I think I did this getting out of my car which was parked too close to the garage wall. It has almost cleared now, still sore in the bum muscle with walking wrong though! Age thing!!!

A man has just been to sort my sleep apnea mask out for me, the doctor thinks the fungal infection was caused by the straps, I am not sure, neither was the man, he has been here before to check the CPAP etc, I now have a much lighter mask so will see how it goes.

Did I mention I got the E reader, I think I did, I now have a lot of books on it, from a friend!!

I am a member of the library here in the village, we have paid membership here, I used to be a member in Delft which is a very good library, the one in the village has hardly any choice at all.

A young boy and girl committed suicide here the other day, near Rotterdam, jumped together from a high rise, one was 14 years old the other 16. So sad, there is a lot going on about all the youths that filmed it all and put it on-line!

Lizzie, it sounds as though you are enjoying your e-reader. Can you order titles from your village library if they don't have them in stock?

What an awful thing to happen to such young people. You wonder what lead them to do that, and the others who filmed it. Their families must be distraught.

It's a bit chilly and raining in the wind, so different to yesterday. Little E and I managed some sandpit play. I have washing on the line, hoping the wind will cancel out the rain!

Lizzie, OH does have some arthritis in the hip, but also the cancer. They don't think the cancer is causing this , but it's still another thing to worry about!
How awful about that young couple, so sad for the familes.

Daisy, yes hopefully little E is less infectious, he's certainly getting through a few tissues!
DD and SIL came to collect him and she looked and seemed well. She put it down to make up but I told her make up only does so much! She said the nurses say shes looking better when they visit too.

Daisy, we can order titles from the library, usually a long wait! We can do it on-line as well. I should be able to download books from the central library to use on the E reader, spent a full afternoon sorting it out then discovered that since Adobe has been taken over last year nothing works like it should with Adobe digital

How sad for those young people's families,
What is it with everyone filming everything,
            Awful for the families,

I get pain in my groin and bum and hip , I do have arthritis but the Dr calls it rump to groin pain.
When it flares up it's very painful to walk ,
I hope it eases soon for her,
            Did your washing dry?
            It's windy and rainy. Here.

            Daisy
It's easy to get distracted isn't it 😁

I didn't get to the farm shop ,
We went to Iceland for a few things ,
Then DD brought Storm over in the car,
When he got out he was so happy , tried to run up the drive to me,
Luckily DD had his hip harness on so could stop him ,
He hasn't been for weeks so had a good look around , plenty of treats and lots of cuddles,
although he isn't keen on cuddles he permitted it 😁
            He is doing so well.

Oma, good to hear Storm is doing well.

I spent quite a while this morning, sorting the freezers.
Frozen items just got shoved in yesterday, nothing in the right place. All sorted now.

Gem, the weather today has certainly gone backwards towards winter. Your poor OH. Pain is pain, and although it's reassuring to know it's not the cancer causing it, it's still a worry and horrible for OH. Is the new medication helping? I'm sure little E loved the sandpit play, and hopefully the remains of his cold will soon dry up. You must have been pleased to see DD looking so well, and you're her Mum, you'd know if it was just makeup.

Lizzie, I've long despaired of Adobe, and I'm not surprised it hasn't improved under new ownership. I hope it gets sorted out so that you can download books from the central library.

Oma, Storm must have missed his regular visits to you. I bet he was tired after today though.

Nanto. I think there's a mischievous little imp that lives in a freezer and causes chaos by moving everything around so you can't find anything. I meant to do ours today because dog food is due tomorrow, and I also need to take out the big leg of lamb I've got for Sunday lunch so it can defrost in the fridge.

Although it stopped raining, it was chilly and windy and I didn't fancy being out in the garden. Our bedroom and the bathrooms benefited with a really good clean, but I ran out of time and will to do the ironing. Eva enjoyed a good walk though. OH cooked dinner while I relaxed after all that activity. I was surprised there were so few people about for a Bank Holiday. I suppose the weather put a lot of people off.

                  Good morning
Gem, hope the meðs help OH. You've got more than your share of worries.

We aren't going out today, but there is nothing we need.
I hate not going out on a Saturday, it will be a loooong day.

Hubby wants to start getting the bathroom ready.
He's hoping to get most of the tiles off.

                    Morning ladies,
I'm going to the garden centre to have a look around for bedding plants for my pots,
I won't put them in yet I will just put them in trays on the dinning room floor till the weather is better.
I only need 4 as it's mostly shrubs in my little boarders.

GS coming at some point today.

B made Hot cross bun bread & butter pudding last night ,
It. Smelt amazing but was actually very disappointing,
I think it needed more fruit and more mixed spice.

They were M&S hot cross buns and they are really nice,
                    But something was lost ,
We will try it again with more spices see if it works ,
Otherwise we won't do that again with them.

                    Nanto
If nothing else , hubbycan get on with the removal of the old tiles,
I hope they come off ok,
With ours being a new build the walls are just plaster board so it all came away in lumps ,
Everywhere had to be boarded again,
Made it easier to remove them mind and the men doing the wet room just put them in the bath and carried them all out in that, after removing the bath.

My Darling brother would have been 78 today.

                      Good Saturday morning, everyone.

Nanto, I think if you go to the shops when you don't actually need anything you still come back with a shopping bag full of things. At least staying at home won't cost you anything. I hope the day goes well.

Oma, I hope you and your family share happy memories of your brother today. He was an incredible person and I bet his boxing club still miss him as well. What a shame about the hot cross bun pudding. I hope the next one is tastier. I'm sure your GS will give it a tasting test for you.

No plans for us. The dog food has just arrived so I need to sort out the freezer. The driver was saying how quiet the roads are and thinks worries about petrol shortages have put people off going away for the weekend. OH has gone down to the village for a couple of things I missed off the Sainsburys order.

                        Good morning everyone.
A sunny Easter Saturday here so far.

Nan2, it's unusual for you not going out on Saturday isn't it?

Oma, the washing partly dried! We had to finish it indoors. Today would have been a better drying day but I wanted to get little E's clothes dried to give back to them today.
The hot cross bun bread and butter pudding does sound nice. I have thought of doing that too. Maybe just more spices next time.

Daisy that was far too much housework!!

Today is our family Easter get together (and for GS2's birthday which is on Monday) It will be lovely to see everyone, and its always DD3's best time, the weekend before the next chemo round.
Now I must colour my hair and iron Little E's clothes (the only time they are ever ironed )

Have a good day whatever you are doing ladies

Anyway, the tiles are off, except for over the bath. They did ask us to leave those on for now.

I'm not cooking anyway,we are going down to KFC.

Anyway, its a job done and all cleaned up now.
Nothing else to be done now, just wait for the work to begin, hopefully in about 2 weeks.
