Just been to sleep again! I was all prepared to stop taking the tablets but my DD and Sil persuaded me to continue. I still have nearly a week of tablets. .

Oma, What would you have done if there had been someone breaking in, surely the police would have been better. I am sure that dog eats better than me. When we had dogs they ate more or less the same every day.

Plant, could you get a phone appointment to explain to a doctor how you are feeling to get their opinion on continuing the tablets?

I love pancakes Nan2, and we hardly ever have them for some reason.

Daisy there are always jobs waiting to be done aren't there? I am quite good at avoiding them for ages 😁

GS1 wanted to stay at home so we have watched TV together and had lunch, and he did half an hour gaming. DD should be back within the hour.
OH is home,I saw her on the Ring camera

If there had been a break in we would have had to ring the police and insurance company ,
By the time DD rang us and we got there they probably would have been in and out I would think .

I agree with Gem you should ring the Dr for advice in the morning xx

I have an appt with the nurse for an annual injection for my bones on Tuesday, I will give the surgery a ring tomorrow to ask for the result of the urine infection, I have never received that. Our surgery is very good, same receptionists for some years but the doctors keep changing.

Lizzie, I meant to say this morning, I love the smell of beetroot boiling! I buy it ready boiled, but vacuum packed, not in vinegar or anything. I used to cook it myself when I had the allotment, though.

Oma, you must be shattered after such an early start and then all that ironing. How is B today?

Nanto, the crepe-style pancakes sound delicious.

Plant, I hope you get some help from your phone call tomorrow. I hope you've been taking it easy today.

Gem, that sounds like a nice easy-going day with GS1. The Ring cameras are very useful, aren't they. I think avoiding household jobs is my super power!

OH didn't get anything at the Auto Jumble, except a sandwich and a drink, but I think he enjoyed having a look round and saw a couple of people he knew. He also got a contact for something he wants/needs for the kit car.

I did some gardening - mostly weeding but a bit of tidying up, and had a rest after lunch. I picked tomatoes - they all seem to be ripening at once, but never got round to cleaning the hob. (See comment about superpower above. ). I took Eva out for a good walk while OH cooked dinner. It was a lovely sunny evening with a strong wind, but it was a warm southerly wind and very pleasant, even though I looked like I'd got a haystack on my head when I got home.

Did everyone get the alert on their phones at 3 o'clock this afternoon? It made us both jump!

                Good morning.

                We got the alerts yesterday.

Hubby is putting up new fencing in the front this week.
One of the gravel boards and one of the posts need replacing.
That's this mornings job, going for new ones.
                How exciting. ☹️

Dinner is only chips, beans and egg.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

How exciting looking for wood , your hubby knows how to spoil a girl 🀣

Been to see to the cats washing in and what housework needed doing is done.
We will pop to Aldi when Storm is off on his walk with the dog walkers.
A lovely retired couple he loves them and they say they wish all their dogs they walk were as good as he is.

Sun is out and although now warm it's ok
Hope everyone is well and has a good day .

                    Good morning everyone.

                    Sunny here.

                    Enjoy the shopping trip Nan2

I bet the dog walkers enjoy walking Storm Oma.

Aqua morning for me. We need a couple of things so I will pop into Sainsbury's on my way back.
We will be trying to decide on our London accommodation for November and booking it this afternoon.

                    Have a good week everyone.

                      Good Monday morning, everyone.

Nanto, fences seem to be a never-ending job, don't they. Still, better to get that done before the winter starts.

Oma, how lovely that Storm has got such devoted dog walkers. How is B today. I hope the feeling of sickness has stopped.

Gem, I hope you can find suitable accommodation in London.

No particular plans for me today. It's nice and sunny, so I'll probably do some gardening. The bedding is in the wash, and hopefully it'll dry outside.

He's still sickly but only 1 more day on antibiotics so hopefully it stops.
Storm isn't happy his bed is in the wash so he's sulking 😁

I bet B will be glad to be off the antibiotics Oma.

They are doing some sort of roadworks at the other end of our road so it's closed to through traffic all day.
Ours leads down to the back of the village main street where all the shops and cafes are so gets used as a cut through. They can't today so it's lovely and peaceful

Oma, I hope B will soon be out of discomfort and pain. Everything going like clockwork with shopping and Storm. Poor Storm having to watch his favourite blanket go round and round.

Gemini, Our village is constantly being dug up for one reason or another. One road out of the village in particular. I wonder where you will choose for your break. Windsor Castle and the theatre would make a nice trip.

It has been a perfect day weatherwise. H has been helping her Papa clean the paddling pool to be put away, she starts school next week. I have had a sit on the bench in the courtyard in the sunshine. There is some weeding to be done there but I don’t feel up to that yet.

Daisy, perfect day for a bit of gardening, not too much, you need to sit and rest on this lovely sunny day.

                            Nanto, alerts, what alerts?

Plant, the trip to London to is to the Abba Arena, so that is probably all we will do this time.
The alert was the government warning test alert that we were supposed to get at 3 pm yesterday.

Just had a lovely leisurely walk with Storm,
He is so good on the lead he explored every bush and tree so a lot of time standing around waiting for him, but it's a lovely day so no need to hurry.

I have just read the Wear mouth bridge in my home town of Sunderland was closed off yesterday as there was a young man in distress right on the top threatening to jump, they didn't get him down till after 1 am this morning.

So sad to get to that point isn't it .
