Fingers crossed no sudden downpour,
We were coming home from MILs yesterday , nice and sunny then we hit a spot on the highway and it's rained so hard the wipers couldn't keep up then 200 yards down the road and it stopped as suddenly as it started.
Good to see J had his hat on 😁

Me and Storm have just had a nana nap,
B and myself are taking GS & Lucie to a nice Indians we all love going to tonight, so I needed to recharge my batteries .

You can guarantee it's a cold when you have been on a flight,
I don't know why it always happens but it does , they say the Aircon is purified but I have my doubts.
Try some honey and lemon see if it helps.
Once E starts chatting I bet he never stops , it's good to hear his speech has improved.
Is GS having anything nice for tea that you would enjoy , you then have company eating your meal xx

Oma, I decided to get takeaway for GS2 and myself, then as you say we can eat together. We have a very good local pizza place who deliver, so I have ordered a small veggie pizza for myself, and GS wants chicken nuggets and chips.

The car has arrived safely at the designated pub! They are camping in a pod in the grounds of the pub, so no more driving today. OH was very pleased that the car ran well. I think they are going on a tour/run tomorrow, and (so far) the weather forecast is good. OH used to live in this area, but we haven't been back there for 40+ years, and he was quite surprised at the changes.

I've done very little, but had a chat with DS2, and caught up with various online messages. I'm just going to get something to eat and then will take Eva for a walk. The sun's lovely but the wind is quite cool.

Hallo everyone, yes, it is still warm and getting even warmer!! 30+ again is forecast. I have been sorting a few things out.

I had to go to the doctor this morning, she wanted to know if the air ways are clear, they are, I have an appointment with her on Monday as she wants to see my feet! She is sending me for an X ray but wants to "feel" them, I know what it is, they fysio made an echo 4 years ago, the rheumatologist had an x ray done for my hands but not my feet, they are even worst than my hands!!

I haven't heard from GS1 yet but he will be phoning, I think GD2 will be tired out after the few days in Praag.

The lift has been repaired, but, the doors made an awful noise closing, there were 2 young men seeing to them this morning, it isn't as bad as it was, still noisy though.

I will get myself a coffee.

I got 2 of the doors cleaned this morning.
Just as hubby was going out this morning,he saw our neighbour.
The one who lost her hubby at the end of April.
He sent her in,so we had a good old natter.
I didn't mind,because i know how i would feel if i had to get used to bein on my own.

We didn't have bacon for dinner,we had used it all.
So, we had pork steak,baby potatoes and veg.

Lizzie, you are certainly getting a tropical summer. I hope it's not affecting you too much. Those lift doors keep giving you all problems don't they. Can you hear them closing from inside your flat? I hope GD2 has enjoyed herself.

Nanto, it must be hard for your neighbour being on her own now, so I'm sure she appreciated your company and being able to have a chat. Pork steak sounds very tasty.

Oma, Indian meals always seem very big, so no wonder you're feeling full. I hope you sleep ok. xx

Eva and I enjoyed our walk tonight. But she came running into the house expecting to find OH here and of course he's not. She ran round checking everywhere and is now sitting at the bottom of the stairs where she can see the front door, waiting for him. How can you explain to a dog!!

Go0d morning, Oma, the lifts are not the problem, the mobility scooters are! I wouldn't mind if I lived on the first floor instead of the fifth! I don't hear the doors, but, my neighbours next door to me certainly do.

We are going into town today. Calling at the retail park on the way, to visit Homebargains, the Range and M&S.

My cold/sore throat is slightly worse so I'm suspecting it's not hay fever (but taking antihistamines just in case!) I have an easy weekend, but am due to go out for a belated birthday meal with friends tomorrow night so want to be able to enjoy that.

Have you seen the strawberry and cream sandwiches in M&S ,
A bit expensive, one slice of a brioche type bread with strawberry and cream in I think about £3.50.

When we were in on Thursday as we were walking out two women were standing eating them ,
They said they were lovely
As B said the British will put anything in a sandwich 🤣

DD is coming over this morning with my presents although I told her not to buy anything,

Living next to the lifts when they are noisy must drive your neighbours mad,
We once stayed in a hotel and our room was next to the lift, I was pleased to leave ,
It went on well into the night and early morning people coming and going.


It's going to be a hot day by the looks of it , it's so stuffy already.
