Oma, I know she doesn't want to but I think your MIL probably needs to be in a care home or at least somewhere with carers on hand .

GS1 and I enjoyed Six. DD1 was back from her walk when I took him home so I stopped for a cuppa with her.

Oma, it's becoming more difficult to care for your MIL (for all of you). I hope you can get the memory clinic appointment sorted out. Could she have at least some of her shopping delivered?

Gem, I'm glad you and GS1 enjoyed Six. Is DD1 still feeling the benefit of her holiday/retreat?

We've had a lovely day, but tiredness has just hit, hard! So on my way to bed.

        Sleep well, everyone. xx

Good morning. Nice and bright here.

          Gem, glad you enjoyed Six.

Daisy, hope you had a good night's sleep.

I bought some new bedding at the weekend, so that's in the wash.

Hubby is having chicken jalfrezi for dinner. I'll have what I catch.

Wishing you all a good bank holiday Monday.

            Good morning Nan2 and everyone.

I hope you slept well after your lovely day Daisy.

Aqua for me this morning. My friend is still car- less so I have to pick her up first.
We are going to the swimming lakes with family ( which I have written about elsewhere) for the rest of the day. Sun is shining

              Morning ladies

Daisy she won't have her shopping delivered,
Even in the pandemic his sister had to have it delivered to her house then take it round and leave it on the doorstep.

              Hope you slept well x

              Gem
She just keeps saying she's not ready yet for care home , when will she be when she's at deaths door 🙄
Enjoy your day out with the family today it's supposedly going to be hot x

              Nanto
Your bedding should dry quickly today,
I would opt for the Jalfrezi too, I'm a big curry fan as long as it's not to hot.

I think Plant is back today, hope she has enjoyed the week.

B wasn't well yesterday didn't eat anything but a half slice of toast,
He felt very sick, we think he has a water infection.

He's not as bad today managed another slice of toast and I'm getting him to drink loads of water,
He doesn't like drinking water but it's a must.

Have a good day ladies whatever your up to.

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Good Bank Holiday Monday morning, everyone.

Nanto, how lovely, new bedding. You're tempting me to do the same - it seems ages since we last replaced ours. I hope you find something really nice for your dinner.

Gem, it's an action-packed day for you. I'm glad the sun is shining for you, and you never know, you might be tempted to have a swim in the lake.

Oma, poor B. I hope he's ok. I'm sure you worry when he isn't well, but drinking lots of water sounds the right thing to do. Does he like electrolyte drinks? I always keep a few Ipro drinks in the fridge - they're low sugar but are refreshing and help with hydration. They taste better than plain water as well.

I slept well last night, but am still quite tired today. A couple of busy days one after the other seems to be a bit too much, but we haven't got a lot on this coming week.

My GD1 is 15 today! How did that happen. We're going over to take her presents later.

Remember the Smeg items i won,we have given then to GD1.
She asked if we would sell them to her, well there's no way we would have done that.

Gem, how did the wild swimming go. Rather you than me.

I will will write about it later.

Nanto, I bet your GD1 is really happy with the toaster, etc.

Gem, the weather has been lovely today, but I bet the water would have been really cold.

We went over to see GD1 just after an early lunch. We had a lovely afternoon. She was then meeting up with some school friends and having a sleepover at a friend's who lives nearby.

I've just got back from walking Eva, who was actually quite tired after the afternoon with Cooper.

Good morning everyone, a belated happy birthday for your GD Daisy, don't they grow up fast!!!

DS1 and family are having a great time in New York, on Monday they rented (Dutch) cycles and cycled along the river etc for the day, they sent me some lovely photos, I will bore you with my favourite's!

I have managed to get all the windows done, to be honest I can't remember the last time I did them, with not being able to use the steps I couldn't do them, never mind, I can see out now!

Gem, you would enjoy the family day, it was lovely weather here so hope it was the same for you all. I went to do DS1's plants etc, I often go to their village for what I call the "cheap" shop, I only needed freezer bags, well, to start off the main road is closed for repairs, there is a detour but most use the village road, it was so busy, I finally managed to get safely to the shop, only I hadn't realised it is the last week of the school holidays here, it was soooooo busy in the village!!! I had already made the mistake of cycling through Delft on Sunday, never again!! I wanted some buttons so thought I would go, so many tourists, they have no idea at all what the cycle paths are for,

Oma, I do hope that you manage to get your MIL in a care home, it must be so tiring for you all.

I am walking to the village this afternoon with my neighbour from the corner, she has asked me a while but with not being able to walk so far I told her we would go when I could walk again, so, we are going this afternoon.

Nanto, your GD1 will be happy with toaster etc, no, you couldn't charge her, that is what grandparents are for!!

Daisy, sounds like GD had a lovely birthday.

I'm going into town with hubby. I need to pick up my skirt that i took in last week.
                              Hubby will meet his pal.

                              Salad with scampi for dinner.

                                Good morning everyone.

Lizzie, I love New York, great photos!

Nan2, I hope it stays fine in town for you. It's drizzling here

After the perfect weather day yesterday today is a bit grey with slight drizzle!
I have a desperately needed massage this morning. My regular massages are not for pleasure, but 'medicinal' I am in lot of pain so it can only help! No other plans today.
