Oma, S feels no different at all from her treatment so far (apart from the reaction to the bone infusion) so we are making the most of it I will update in YEO.

I have just hung our washing out too

Good morning, I must do a catch up, we have had rain this morning, not much really, more thunder and lightening than rain!

GS1 and family will be home on Monday after exploring the sights of NY!

I have had muscle pain in my leg from walking, I have limped for over a year, walking better now but my muscles know about it! I would have thought that with cycling, gym etc my muscles would be ok, according to the PT, we use different muscles for walking to cycling!

I have washing out drying, I will wait until it is dry then try a walk into the village.

Nanto, you must have a very full freezer!

I am sorting a few things out to take to the UK with me. DB2 phoned the other day to discuss the plans!!!

I had a drive to the design place the other day, just to use my car and have a walk round, I did buy some silk poppies , I was telling the young man at gym, he says he likes to look round, it is expensive though, I call it the rich peoples Ikea!!! DS1 and DIL got most of their lamps etc etc there when they moved into this house, must be 23 years ago now, I did see that it has been opened 25 years.

Gem I hope that your back improves.

Plant, your chair will be good in the winter with the heat. I remember DB2 years ago, he had a car at the time with heated seats, he took their GD1 out one day, she returned home and said "Granddad is a magician, he warmed my bum"! She is almost 40 years old now so it is a few years ago.

Oh dear, another busy morning here.

I got up really early and put some washing on - it was due to rain about lunch-time. I hung the first lot out and went to put out the next load, and it had just started to rain. Grrrr ..... - it wasn't even 9 am! Most of it was stuff I couldn't put in the dryer as well.

I've been trying to catch up on housework as I have a steroid-fuelled energy boost, and want to make the most of it. I'll try can catch up with everyone later. xx

Oma, we didn't go to Wakefield for anything special, but it makes a change to go to another town.
I also wanted some cream and frozen desserts from Farmfoods.
The Wakefield one is a couple of miles outside the town, in the opposite direction to home.
So we called at our local one.

Daisy, hope you managed to get the washing dry.
Started raining here about 10 minutes ago.

                      Lizzie
Our car has heated seats and cool air so in the summer it blows cold keeping you cool,
I love them in the winter , B turns the heated seats on before we get in so it's all toasty😁
When do you come to the UK?

Pleased to hear that , hugs from us.

DD & GS came this morning, she had picked Storm up from the groomers , he's had his bath and his coat blown out , he's all clean and smells good 😊

They go to San Francisco on Wednesday morning for 10 days so he will come to us on Tuesday night.

It's for his 21st on the 10th so we gave him his gift while he was here,
We had paid for his lads holiday but this was a little extra.

Nan, the rain must have reached us around the same time. I was just unpegging the last item from the washing line!

Oma we really miss OH's car with the heated seats! It was very welcome when she was setting off for work on cold winter mornings.

                        Don't overdo it Daisy!

When are you coming to the UK Lizzie?

Lizzie, I hope we drum up nice weather for you.

We've had a busy day today. I cleaned upstairs, and the cloakroom this afternoon. Downstairs tomorrow! OH spent a long time cleaning the oven. My old gas oven was self cleaning so never took long, but this once-shiny new electric one was looking a bit grubby. It's looking really nice and clean now! He also cooked dinner while I had a sit down.

Then Eva started giving us The Look - the one that says she needs walkies. It was pouring with rain, so neither of us was keen! Eva doesn't mind walkies in the rain - being sent into the garden for calls of nature is a different matter! By 9 o'clock the rain had stopped, so I took her round the block.

                              Good morning.
I think we are having some sunshine this morning, so I've got a load of washing on the go.

Hubby just been picked up by his brother, for the car boot sale.

Remember i mentioned a couple of weeks ago that we had a fox in the garden. Well it looks like he's a regular visitor, hubby has seen him in the garden for a few nights.
The lady on the opposite corner to us has got chickens/hens whatever they are, so I hope things are fox proof.

Lizzie, we sometimes get lovely weather in September, so i hope it's nice for your visit.

Dinner is mash, tomato sausage, veg and onion gravy.

Oh,I love the heated seats in our car in winter.

                                Good morning ladies.

The last day of August. It feels cooler here, but the sun is shining.

Crossing fingers for good weather here for you when you come Lizzie.

I'm glad Eva could wait until the rain stopped Daisy!

Nan2, I hope your neighbours put their chickens safely away at night, as you say. DD and SIL2 had their chickens killed by foxes when they got complacent and didn't put them away one night.

OH is about to pick up her friend for the golf break. It's less than an hours drive away and a place they have been to a couple of times before.

Tesco delivery between 12 and 1, and I am going to the cinema this afternoon. A film called The Roses. I will report back!
When I am out I will also pick up my repeat prescription from the machine and pop into Aldi for blueberries. They are so much nicer than Tesco or Sainsburys ones!
