Awww Lizzie, sorry to hear you have another fever. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Oma, MIL all sweetness and light again then.

Hubby's pal just messaged to say he won't be out for their meet up tomorrow.
He's got vertigo. I know its an awful complaint,we have both had it in the past.

Lizzie have you been back to the Drs?
You really should see someone xx

        I get Vertigo regularly,
If I blow my nose too hard or sneeze or turn the wrong way ,
I can often be found laying on the floor till it passes ,
I find it's safer to lay down as soon as I feel one coming on, so I know like you how you feel with it.

        Plant
Will you have to go back to the garden centre for more plants?
I don't know about your end but although it's been bright it's been clod here.
Are the family settled back in now?
MIl will never change in fact I think she's getting grumpier.

I remember how your Mum was with you ,
I'm glad you can look fondly on the last 3 years you had with her xx

I got my plants from a local shop, the owner goes to the London Markets to buy them so they are a bit cheaper than the garden center and I like to support him. I have lots of pots in the courtyard, they are nearly done. My DD was worried about me doing it, wanted me to sit on the garden bench and they would bring them to me to plant. I couldn’t see that working, I bend very well. Sil does the heavy bit. DD doesn’t do gardening she thinks it is outside housework.

Oma, not much they can do for a virus, I will phone tomorrow and tell them how long it is taking though!

I don't think I would cope well with your MIL!

Plant, I got some plants the other week from the grower near here, very popular they are. I got one of those hanging bags made up for my friends birthday.

Oma, its not me who has got vertigo, its hubby's pal.

Lizzie, the plants in the photo look lovely.

We have had plenty of sunshine, but it was cool at times.

Everyone has had a busy day, today!

We've had some warm sunshine and some cool breezes. OH put up some netting for the actual real Clematis we got the other day, and started to prepare the holes for planting. I actually managed to dust and polish our bedroom and do some hoovering before needing to sit down again!

We took Eva for her sleepover, calling in at the garage on the way to collect a repaired tyre for OH's kit car. Cooper gave us a great welcome, as always and Eva didn't seem in the least bothered when we left her there. W're so lucky to have such a good arrangement. We called for fish and chips on the way home. One portion was more than enough for us both - the chip shop owner is an ex-neighbour and he always gives us loads.

I'm having an early night after all that, plus an early start tomorrow. I'll pop in when we get back from the hospital.

                  Good morning.

                  No plans for us today.
Hubby's pal is poorly, so no Friday meet up for them. Hubby will ring his pal later and see how he is.
We'll just take the day as it comes.

Daisy, hope you're appointment goes well.

Steak, chips and peas for dinner. Might do some onion rings as well.

                    Good morning everyone.

Sorry to hear hubby's pal poorly again Nan2.

I hope you enjoyed the fish and chips Daisy and that traffic isn't too awful today.

The flowers look lovely Lizzie. I am looking forward to being able to plant out tubs and baskets here. We have to wait a bit longer than down south due to risk of frost.

Reflexology for me this morning. She comes to me, so no travelling as I have for my massages. GS2 from school and back here for tea as usual on a Friday.

Nice that the reflexology can be done at home , you will be more relaxed.
By the way how is GS2 's eyes now with his glasses , do you think they are helping ?

Dog today so a pottering day for us he's having belly pork and mixed veg ,
He will be stinking tomorrow 😁

Oma GS2's glasses worked fine and he needs no treatment except to wear them.
GS3 has a hospital appointment next month to discuss further treatments. It's highly like he will need an operation. He is such a good little boy wearing them at all times (and looks like a tiny Harry Potter )

I'm glad you and your family can remember the good times with your brother Oma xx

A bit overcast here today, National Trust meeting for me this afternoon. I am feeling stiff and tired from my courtyard planting pots yesterday. I think I will make a few pots disappear next year. GD has just left to go and fetch H from nursery, next Sept she will be at a school nearer to us, she is in their catchment area. Goodness knows when they will be able to afford to move out.

Daisy, I hope you are not kept waiting too long today.

Gemini, I could do with some reflexology, I am painfully stiff today. Perhaps I should look into it.

Oma, gracious Oma, is it that long ago your brother died, so sad, he was such a fit man.

We are forecasted a very warm week to come, I hope it isn’t too hot for the runners on Sunday.

                            Good Friday afternoon, everyone.

Nanto, your hubby's's pal isn't having a great time, poor chap. I hope he's ok. My OH would be at the kitchen door with his knife and fork ready for steak and chips!

Gem, the fish and chips were delicious, with plenty of mushy peas and tomato ketchup! We know how to live it up. . I hpe you got time to relax before picking GS2 up from school. GS3 does look like a very young Harry Potter with his glasses. Is he very proud of them? Our GD2 got her glasses when she was a similar age and she absolutely loves them. She's gone from pretty pink Princess ones to current high fashion 'owl' shaped and everything in between. She will be able to have contact lenses when she's older, but at the moment her glasses are her trade mark!

Plant, you worked hard doing all those pots yesterday - I think we'd all be feeling the effects today. I agree you might want to reduce the number to save on potting up, feeding and watering etc. I'm trying to get some of my potted plants into the borders for less work - not very successful so far. I hope you've felt less stiff as the day has worn on. Plant, how time flies! I can't believe H will be starting school in September. It will be a lot easier her being closer, and I'm sure she'll love school.

Oma, it was such a shock when you lost your brother, so I'm sure some of that stays with you, but it's important to share the good memories. I still remember the video of him doing push ups between two chairs, and so many tributes from the Club. Sending hugs. xx

I was really misty here at 6 o'clock this morning, and I thought we were in for a nice sunny day. At least it's brightening up a bit now and we're getting a bit of sun. Everything went smoothly at the hospital today and we were home before lunch.

                            EDIT: I've updated in YEO.

Hallo everyone, I have been to the doctor, I phoned the surgery this morning and they phoned me back to say the doctor wanted to see me. A very nice, new, young doctor, very thorough as well, they did the blood prick but there was no bacteria so that ruled the pneumonia out, that was what I was worried about. She tested the lungs etc, thought I was very short of breath from the airways, I have to see how it goes and if it isn't any better next week I have to phone again. It has put my mind at rest.

Oma, 5 years soon passes, I can remember you losing your brother as though it was yesterday.

                              Gem, enjoy yourself with GS2.

It is the Kings birthday celebration tomorrow, with it being the funeral of the pope there was talk of Maxima going to Rome, but, apparently not, they are starting the celebrations later though out of respect. Maxima was from Argentina, a catholic as well.

It has been a lovely day, seems the forecast is the same for all next week.

Plant, I think I will be stiff when I get back to the gym! I did actually enjoy cycling across the village to the doctor, took the long way round to avoid the closed cycle paths etc.
