All went well with the review, unless there is anything showing in the blood test. Hope not.

Good to hear B and J might be over the worst of their illness.

Oma, B&M is one of those shops where you didn't know you wanted things until you got there.

Nan2, good to get the annual review over. I think mine must be due soon.

Daisy and Oma, I'm pleased to hear that there are improvements for the 3 ailing ones!

Sunshine makes us all feel better doesn't it Plant. It was sunny here .

I did enjoy Macbeth. I had forgotten quite how evil he was! I was just telling OH about it and commenting Donald Trump almost seemed not too bad in comparison!!
David Tennant and Cush Jumbo were excellent. All the cast were in fact. Oma I think you will know Cush Jumbo by sight. I can't remember what I have seen her in before but she was known to me

I'm glad you enjoyed the play,
I will Google Cush and see if I recognise her.

Pleased the review went well and fingers crossed your bloods are normal.

I rang the Drs about my tongue as it has red sore patches now.
They got me a referral for the pharmacist we use ,
She was lovely and as soon as she had a look diagnosed thrush.
She said thrush in the mouth can be some very strange colours .

The treatment she would usually give me no Chemist in the north east has it so she emailed my Dr to ask him to prescribe something else, I now have to wait till Dr reads the email then for him to send the prescription to them.
Hopefully it's there for tomorrow, in the meantime time it's salt washes .

She seemed to think it was caused by a combination of the Antibiotics and having a cold again.

I said to her I haven't got the Black death then, she thought that was very funny 😃

Nanto, I'm pleased to hear your annual review went well - fingers crossed for the blood test results. We have to get the blood test results before a review so it is at least done and dusted. (Hopefully).

Gem, I'm glad Macbeth kept you entertained! I've never seen a production of it, but remember studying it at school and thinking it was the most horrific thing I'd ever read! I hope you don't have nightmares.

Plant, how lovely to see the sun this morning. It's gone cold now though. H is such a lucky little girl to have you around so much and being able to drop in on you so easily. How were the games?

Oma, thank goodness you and B are both feeling a bit better. It's probably a good thing we haven't got a B&M near us as I'm sure J would say the same as B!
Don't worry about the pots - there's time for the weather to make them dirty again, unfortunately.

Yes, I swerved the ironing with no effort today. I wanted to go to the garden centre to get bird seed and a few odds and ends. I was just about to leave when the window cleaner arrived in our close and OH was still in bed. He does ours last because we always make him a coffee and a snack. So I waited while OH got up and dressed. Then there were road works (surprise, surprise) and a long queue just before the garden centre. I had a good browse round and got most of what I wanted, stopped to get OH a paper on the way back and also got gammon steaks for dinner. Got home, cooked dinner and cleared up. By then it was getting dark so I took Eva out. Now it's tea time, so no chance of doing any ironing today!

Hallo everyone, a little late today!

I went to the circuit training, there were only 6 of us today, the other 6 seem to all have a virus! I just read that a lot of people are ill with the flu. I hope you are all feeling better from it by now.

Nanto, pleased all went well, I hope the blood is fine as well. I got appointment's last week for my heart APK! The last week in March is the first one.

It was misty this morning then turned out lovely after lunch.

A neighbour from the 4th floor had cancer of the lungs a couple of years ago, with immune therapy etc she has been doing well, they then discovered she had a brain tumour, the operation went well and she was coping, I was talking to her partner yesterday and she has fluid behind her lungs, she has to go to the hospital tomorrow to have it drained, but, if they discover cancer cells in the fluid they will stop with all her treatment!

I won't complain about my shingles!

You are a busy bee Daisy doing all the housework and playing nurse at the same time.

I have the news on TV, so many stabbings etc. One is Sheffield I hear now.

DS1 phoned and was telling me that GD1 has been asked to return to her work at the Lidl, she left to go to another supermarket but now Lidl have contacted her.

Lizzie, it must have seemed quiet at circuit training today. So many people seem to be ill with the viruses that are going round. How sad for your poor neighbour. I hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't sound too good, poor lady. The news these days is so scary and violence seems to be ever-more common. I don't know what the answer is, but I hope there is one.

Lidl's must have been very pleased with your GD1's work to be asking her to go back. What will she do, do you know?

I've been thinking today what a long week it seems - then I realised it is Wednesday, not Tuesday!!

Lizzie, really hoping it's not bad news for your neighbour.

Your tongue must be so sore Oma. Hopefully the treatment will work quickly.

How kind of you to provide your window cleaner with coffee and a snack Daisy!

                  Good morning.

                  Keen frost this morning.

Lizzie, hope its not bad news for your neighbour.

Not much to do today. I'm going to put some darks in to wash.

Asda shopping coming between 9 and 10.

No cooking, we are going for a pub meal with sis in law and her hubby.

                  Have a good day ladies.

                    Good morning everyone.
                    Very cold and frosty here.

                    Enjoy the pub meal Nan2.

Little GS3 day for me, golf for OH for part of the day.

                      Morning ladies
                      Very frosty here also.
We have been to Aldi for a few bits then we came home and I have just had a lovely hot chocolate,
Just what you need on a cold morning.

Nothing planned for today we both can't be bothered to do anything or go anywhere so a day off laziness I think .

A quick "good Thursday morning" from me. I'm expecting a phone call in a minute and have only just woken up!

The frost is fast disappearing in the lovely sunshine.

Lovely sunshine for us too. I have just sorted out a Waitrose delivery, managed to order 2 lots of carrots. No plans for me today, just pottering.

Daisy, what a lovely lie in, did you have a good night too?

Oma, enjoy your lovely lazy day. I hope you are both feeling better.

Nanto, enjoy your lunch out, no cooking for you.

Plant, no is wasn't a good night! OH stayed up watching a film and I woke about 1 o'clock wondering where he was! I jumped out of bed and dashed downstairs, worried about him, then couldn't get back to sleep for ages, so I then overslept.

After the lengthy phone call I cooked dinner - just sausage and mash - but it seemed as though I couldn't get on with things, with messages, requests from the patient, Eva asking to go out, and come in, and go out etc. Anyway, I decided I needed a bit of time out - I would have done some gardening, but it was just too cold. So I got my paints out and dabbled for an hour or so. Then I took Eva for a good walk - it was lovely out on the moor with the setting sun, but flippin' freezing.

I hope you enjoyed your day pottering.

Oma, I hope you had a lazy day as well. How is B?

Nanto, did you and OH have your usual at the pub?

Gem, did S have a good game of golf? How was GS3? I'm sure he keeps you busy all day, but it's a lovely age - there seems to be something new every day, doesn't there.

We got the sun in the end too!

OH enjoyed golf very much thank you Daisy.
I think you needed that painting time.

We took little E home after tea tonight. I bathed him at our house, then he chose me to read his bedtime stories.
Once he was in bed we had a takeaway from their local Thai restaurant.

                                Good morning.

We had a lovely pub meal yesterday.
Sis in law and hubby came back to ours.
Then our niece and her boyfriend came.
We all went to look at a house they are buying.
Everyone came back to ours after .
                                Hence the graphic with houses.

Daisy, you deserved a bit of you time.

There's no frost here this morning.
                                Some wintery showers are forecast.

I think it will be a quieter day today.

Hubby meeting up with his pal later.

Steak, fries and peas for dinner.
