Oh Oma, you two need a lovely holiday in the sun. Get looking at cruises when you are both better! Take care and get well soon xx
I hope the better night's sleep speeds up your OH's recovery Daisy.
GS3 still wearing his glasses at all times apart from in the bath or his cot Plant.
The air crash is just awful. That despicable person Trump has even used this tragedy to dig at his opponents
I had a lovely day with GS3, his is a joy. DD and I were saying if he succumbs to the Terrible Two's there is certainly still no sign at two and half. While eating his tea he told me he was AdorableI had to agree!
OH enjoyed her golf and felt better for it. There are generally less than 10 on a Thursday, sometimes as few as 6. 16 today, so everyone was keen to get back out there.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning.
Hope all the poorly people feel better soon.
Hubby's pal is feeling a lot better so they are meeting up this morning.
Nothing exciting for me today. I'm going to the post office in the local shop when they open at 7.30.
I'll probably do some tidying up, upstairs.
Root mash, southern fried chicken and veg for dinner.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good morning ladies.
Oma, sending love and healing vibes. Rest up and don't worry about posting here xx
Our neighbours three doors down are coming to meet the kittens this morning. They were due to come last Sunday but I cancelled as I was worried OH would pass something on to them, one of them is vulnerable.
GS1 is coming for the day after a dental appointment. GS2 from school so he will go with me to pick him up.

Good Friday morning, everyone.
Nanto, You certainly are an early shopper. But then I suppose it gives you the rest of the day to yourself. I'm sure your OH and his pal will be pleased to get back to their routine.
Oma, poor you. You and B seem to be getting everything that's going at the moment and you must be thoroughly fed up. Sending you both love and a hug. Take care, rest, plenty of fluids, nag, nag, nag, but the housework will wait till you're better. xxx
Gem, What a lovely day with your two big boys. Are they staying for tea? Have your neighbours got a cat as well? I bet they will be enchanted by P and M. I hope the golf course is open. If you had the amount of rain we had last night it might be too wet. I really hope not, though, because S will be getting withdrawal symptoms now she's better.
It was a hectic start to the day for me. OH has had a very restless night and didn't really settle to sleep until about 4 am. I had to get up early (for me!) to do the bins and deal with the grocery delivery. So between getting honey and hot lemon for OH, then Paracetamols for his headache, feeding the dog, putting the bins out, putting the shopping away, emptying the dishwasher, feeding the birds, I feel as though I've done a day's work already. Just off for a shower!
I don't think I'll make any plans for the rest of the day. At this rate I shall have to keep running just to stand still.

Daisy, I would think you are due for a rest now. I do hope your OH has turned the corner.
Oma, Oh no! not you now. What a horrible virus it is.
Nanto, what a love graphic.
I have no plans today, I was going to pop out but it is so miserable outside and it is not urgent.
Rolling news about the awful news from the USA about the crash.
Gemini, I wish I could pop along and see the kittens. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Oma, thinking of you and B and hoping you are both much better tomorrow.
Daisy after all your busy days and nursing you deserve a day with no plans!
Plant I would love it if you were close enough to visit the kittens.
GS1 didn't come in the end. GS2 was a bit disappointed but is happy now with Lego and kids TV and his tea on a tray
The visit this morning went well. Both husband and wife ,in their 80's are ailing these days. She walks with a frame and has carers several times a day. Their son arranged a time when he could walk them round. It's only 3 houses away, but with walker for her, stick for him and getting the walking frame up the step into the house it was slow progress! They love cats and theirs died a couple of years ago. We used to go to feed their cat when they went away .They don't feel able to cope with one now .
The husband in particular adores cats, misses theirs so much and wanted to see ours so badly. I said they must come again soon.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Hallo everyone, I am slowly improving, I do feel better but the rash seems to come and go, at least I haven't the fever, well, only when I think I can do more than I can! I still have tablets for 3 more days so will see how I feel next week.
Oma, poor you and B, you are going through it.
Daisy, I hope that your DH is soon feeling better as well. There are so many with flu etc here, the time of the year or so they say.
Gem, your neighbours would enjoy seeing the kittens playing.
I must go for a drive tomorrow or my poor car won't start when I do need it.
Nanto, pleased your DH's friend has recovered.
