Aww look at Buzz!
Glad you had such a lovely day Oma
We had a really good day at DD3's
SIL's food is restaurant standard and little GS3 was a delight all day long. Wishing us all a 'Merry Missmas ' ,and he loved the Little Tikes car we bought him. He got a Bing Bunny toy in his stocking and he drove him around the house - to the shops, library and seaside!
He still had presents unopened at bedtime he was so occupied with car and bunny!
I hope you all had a lovely day.

Gem, what a lovely time yo must have had watching GS3 with his car and bunny. No doubt he'll be ready to open the rest of his presents tomorrow though.
Oma, I must show my GD1 the photo of J - she's never thought of crocheting Santa's beard!! Buzz looks as though he wasn't going to move until he'd been served a nice saucer of turkey. How good of the soup kitchen to show their appreciation when they must have been so busy.
We've had a lovely day. Friends called round for our usual Bucks Fizz get together this morning, and DS1 and family arrived just as they left. DIL2's mum arrived a bit later. It was the usual hectic chaos with two excited dogs and two very excited Grand daughters. GD2 got a phone which she wanted so badly and GD1 finally got her sewing machine. She had been saving towards it (it's a posh one!) and is over the moon. I know what she will be doing tomorrow. The dogs had a great time ripping up all the wrapping paper and playing with their new toys.
We've had a quiet evening doing nothing much.

Good morning.
I posted on here last night, but I must have forgotten to post reply.
Sounds like we all had a lovely day yesterday.
A more normal day for us today, which we like.
A bit of turkey left, so we always have that on boxing day with chips and beans. I'll pop some stuffing balls in the air fryer.
DS1 and GD2 came for dinner yesterday, so we had a lovely meal with them.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good boxing day morning ladies.
Daisy
How are you feeling, did you manage ok yesterday?
GDs will be thrilled with their gifts , I bet lots of things will be made on the sewing machine 😄
Buzz was happy with some turkey and Tallulah had some cream, so Buzz had to have some too even though he can't digest it well.
Storm had a massive dinner all the veg and a Yorkshire pud with gravy, he crashed out and slept the rest of the afternoon he was so full
Gem
Enjoy your busy day , it's so nice to have everyone around you isn't it ❤️
Nanto
We brought some pork and turkey back from DDs we will have it with something today,
Not sure what yet though.
We had a really good day ,
James had done a quiz for us , he must have spent hours organising it it was hilarious, we cried laughing till our sides hurt, we were in two teams we lost but I still say the other team cheated 🤣🤣.
Today we are doing nothing, I feel like I've run a marathon but considering we had all been poorly on the run up to Christmas it's not surprising,
So a lazy quiet day for us, I haven't even done any housework 😱😂

GS1 and his family have just arrived, GS 2 is having a nice time amusing the baby, GS2’s wife is amusing GGD1 and GD2’s OH is playing with GGS on his Nintendo.. Parents chatting in the kitchen, all children being amused. GD1 and her OH and H have gone visiting his family and will be out for most of the day. Shame she is missing her cousins. I hope you are all having a lovely Boxing Day either socialising or resting. I am off now next door to join the family.

Hallo everyone, Daisy, I know your GD will get so much pleasure out of the sewing machine.
Gem, I hope you had a lovely lunch with the family, I have been to DS1 for brunch, very nice it was as well. The two of them are going to Antwerp tomorrow for a few days, the girls will be home alone, they will cope!
Oma, you would enjoy the meal etc.
Nanto, a quiet day is what you need after all the Christmas rush.
A few more days and we will be back to normal!

Happy Boxing Day everyone, I hope you're all doing exactly what you want to do today.
We had a lie in and have done nothing much. We've binge watched Clarkson's Farm, and I've just taken Eva for a little walk - she was still tired from yesterday. Bizzarely though, we've washed the bedding - didn't get round to it before Christmas. Dinner will be the universal Boxing day leftovers!
Lizzie, GD1 is over the moon with her sewing machine. She went through a bag of clothes I'd got ready for the charity shop and found a top which she's going to make a dress out of, for her sister.
Plant, you're having another busy day today with so many of the family there.
Nanto, we haven't had fog, but it's been dark and murky all day.
Oma, please don't let Eva hear you say what Buzz, Tallulah and Storm had for their Christmas dinners. Neither Eva nor Cooper got any treats - but they did have lots of new toys. It's not easy to make up quizzes and there's always someone who disputes an answer! Well done to James. You and B did well to keep going yesterday considering how poorly you have both been.
Gem, have you had a lovely day with the family? Did GS3 go down for his nap, or was he too excited?
We're making the most of a quiet day today. Tomorrow will be busy. We're going to a funeral just after lunch and then on to DS2's for GD2's birthday. Then on Saturday we'll have the whole family here for lunch.

Good evening everyone
I'm sorry to hear you have a funeral to go to tomorrow Daisy. It's good that you have something nice afterwards.
Boxing Day brunch sounds a nice idea Lizzie.
Nan2, when the family left it was very misty. No sign of it when they arrived .
Plant, I hope you had a lovely day with your family.
I think a quiet day is just what you needed Oma.
We had a lovely day. We ate just after 1, GS3 had a little play with GS2 then went happily off for his 2 hour nap. We had our pudding while he was asleep and saved him some. He's an unusual 2 year old who loves Christmas pudding!
He brought his pj's and dressing gown and had a bath here before they went home.
Everyone had gone by 6 and we are having a relaxing evening
